Lots to like here, but... There is so much inconsistency with areas being closed/out of order. Too many times to count now, I have come and one or more is closed: usually the pool, hot tub, sauna, or steam room, once 4 of the 6 massage chairs were out of order. It's impossible to plan a visit when the expected area I came to use is out of order. I used like Vasa I thought they were a good new company, until of late. I actually had to go away for a while and they would not allow me to cancel my membership and I had no way to pay it. They they made me freeze it and then Began charging a card that doesn't exist anymore which made the account go more negative. I asked if I could cancel but will not allow until last overdue is paid so I have to be zeroed out. Since I no longer have a job and got caught up in some other things that are costing me more money I'm not able to pay that bill so therefore it's going to keep adding up I asked if there's a way I could pay make payments or do something in order to make it so that doesn't happen they said no. In my opinion Vasa doesn't care about the public or it's hardships it only cares about its money. If I were to join any gym in town it would be anyone but Vasa Vasa may be nice and have nice equipment but all they want is your money they won't work with you if if things go on in your life that you can't help. On top of that they lied to me many times and continue to take money off of a car that doesn't exist and I told them it didn't exist which allowed three to five different back charges so an extra $200. I went in to see if I can make a payment so I can work out and then make a payment plan they said no cuz I wanted to continue to work out at there. If I wanted to give 0 star I would give it! Totally scammers! Charging you lift and right and there is no one that you can talk to! They charge you $70 annual fee at the beginning of enrollment which is completely wrong! If your account is no due and you wanna cancel your plan still you have to pay the upcoming month fee + $25 cancellation fee! Their sauna is almost everyday out of service, small and dirty equipment! I strongly recommend to all of you to pay a bit more to any other fitness who are not scammers and you can find someone to talk to. So don't waste your time. I just cancelled my plan. read more

They make it impossible to cancel your subscription. So stay away. Plus they charge you extra if you cancel within so many weeks. UGH

Genuinely one of the strangest gyms i've EVER been to... Straight away when I entered the gym the front desk staff stared at me with no greeting. I walked up to one of them and told them I had a Free One day pass (just to check this new gym out). I was given a hastily tour that the staff member seemed like they were forced to do. Within 5 mins of the tour I wanted to leave but stuck it out... The gym environment is not welcoming whatsoever (especially if you are not a white individual)! I have been to multiple gyms and have been working out for 7 years and this was one of the coldest environments. It felt like a "frat bro"/"fitness influencer" gym. The gym was packed to the max when I arrived and very few machines were available. Multiple passive aggressive actions done towards me on the gym floor & in the locker rooms and LOTS of stares! I understand I do not look like everyone in the gym race wise but I wanted to enjoy a workout like everyone else. I deserve an environment where you feel seen and valued, not just tolerated. I would not recommend this place if you are a person of color! Aside from my terrible experience here, the facility looks brand new and clean! This was my very first time & impression of Vasa but I won't be back. I am glad that I got to experience it for myself and better understand what type of gym environment i'd like to be involved in. read more

I would like to say that they talked my 17-year-old daughter into signing up, and she couldn't afford to pay the gym membership anymore, so she logged into the website as suggested and canceled the membership, we have a screen shot to prove it. Contracts are not even honored in Nebraska until an individual is 19 years old. However, when she contacted this location, they told her to contact the main office in Utah at, 801-426-8644. They are only open 9am- 5pm Monday-Friday, MST time. I called them yesterday and waited on the line forever and finally went to the text option which is from 435-422-4234. They kept telling me that her account had been sent to collections and we would have to contact Aldous Law Associates, 801-272-5281. I contacted them and they told my daughter and I that she would have to pay $299.58 to remove it from collections and when I told him that I was willing to pay for the 2 months potentially of service which I am pretty sure is only one month at $15.00, he hung up on me!! My daughter just graduated high school, and I feel they took advantage of her age in the location and now her credit is potentially ruined before she even starts living her life as an adult. I would like someone from the gym such as manager to contact me directly as well as email me documentation of the contract and payment history immediately. I am also posting this review via google in hopes that no one else ends up paying 10 x what they initially owed and have their credit ruined. read more
