I joined this gym while back home tending to family and covid. I had 5 seperate concerns and…read moreexperiences with this gym. One in which when it happened, I let it go. However due to how poorly I have been treated by their staff and witnessed how poorly they have treated others, I felt the need to share and blast this gym for their behavior and poor practices. I would NOT recommend this gym to anyone. Not only as a Personal Trainer, but as a former member. First Instance: I was changing out of my clothes in the women's locker room and naked and I literally had one of the MALE staff members enter without announcing his entrance and see me naked. It was so humiliating, unprofessional, and unacceptable. Second Instance: I continued to watch the staff stand around leaning against the counter while the paper towels and sanitizer bottles were empty. And people waiting for assistance while they were busy chatting with their back to memebers. Third Instance: Upon closing time they were always so quick to get everyone out the door. Understandably, but please allow your members to exit your gym safely! I witnessed the lights be turned off while an elderly man was trying to get to the exit in a walker and the staff simply did NOT care. He needed the extra lights as he also wore glasses. I was the kind soul whom eneded up assisting him and ensured he did not fall on any equipment nor slipped the wet floors. This was so disappointing to witness, not only was the gym not avoiding liability, but proved they don't have common human decency. Fourth Instance: I froze my account while they still allowed. I had a family death and communicated with the gym about wanting to cancel. I received a voicemail from the gym stating they already had my signature from my freeze and they would cancel my account. They proceeded to CHARGE my credit card claiming the staff documented each call. I spoke to Tammi, Manager whom was rude and unwilling to help me. Then I spoke to Skyler who when asked the last time I actually checked into their gym, said they checked me in for each call! I wanted to know my last physical check-in to determine how many months they charged me while l reside in another state. Skyler was not only rude and unprofessional, he truly believes each and every employee did not lie nor provide me false information in regards to the cancel. He said I would need to PROVE a voicemail and was little to no help. He said the corporate office would just refer me back to him. And he did not care if I wrote any review about their gym, deeming himself and his staff untouchable for their actions. Luckily, my credit card understands and will be fighting this AWFUL gym. I also had a family death in which was a distraction at the time and continued to have contact with the gym and told them I wanted to cancel. The staff not only lied, they again lacked professionalism and human compassion. They charged for months and months and I did not step foot in their gym to workout in Nebraska or anything other state. DO THE RIGHT THING PLANET FITNESS! Stop raping people for services they did NOT utilize. Fifth Instance: Showers were often dirty and had hair on the walls and in the drains. I would politely tell the staff and they did not care. The red light therapy room was never disinfected either. During the times of COVID I would expect greater sanitation and cleanliness. PLEASE DO NOT sign up for this gym if you want a clean, respectful, caring, and professional environment to workout in. I will NEVER step foot in another Planet Fitness and as a Personal Trainer, will recommend all my friends, family, and clients go elsewhere. From a native Lincoln woman - RUN! They will screw you over and it won't even phase them. And you might get peeped on by their male staff. I shared my picture as this young man entering the locker room whom saw me almost daily...this definitely didn't feel like an 'accident'. If you have children, I would specifically look out for your daughters!

I was a member of this gym for two years. Overall I was satisfied with the gym, especially with the…read moreprices and the staff were nice. Some of the gym equipment was wonky and needed to be worked on. Sometimes an elliptical would turn off unexpectedly or they'd be very squeaky and the clicks on one elliptical in the women's area would be loud and annoying. The biggest thing that bothered me would be that there are these rules about no talking on phones, no grunting, no slamming weights, etc but none of them are enforced despite there being multiple staff on hand when these "rule violations" incurred. The first year I was there I signed up for Pure Core PT and was satisfied despite the very pushy sales tactics from the Pure Core salesman when you first sign up for a Blue Moon gym membership. When they switched over the the XGT workout program I signed up with Pure Core again but that was when the problems began. At first my payment information was entered wrong which lead to a return payment fee that was eventually corrected and the card they already had on file expired a month later but I was completely unaware of this since no one at Pure Core decided to tell me. I got an email saying that a payment was missed (payment comes out at midnight and it was payday and another auto withdrawal beat PC to it) but a second attempt would occur later. I had assumed due to that email that my payment info was current but the second attempt never came. When I asked Jake (Pure Core Trainer) to look into it, I heard nothing come of it. I had thought that they were waiting until a late fee was incurred until they attempted another payment withdrawal so I was worried that I would be caught unaware so I cancelled my card and asked for my contract at Pure Core to be cancelled. I eventually cancelled my Pure Core contract and it cost me $450 to do so. Due to all of this and the dispute with Pure Core I ended up cancelling my Blue Moon gym membership and signed up with Planet Fitness where I don't have to pay for personal training or worry about paying a $450 termination fee. If you sign up with this gym then you should avoid signing up with Pure Core Personal Training/XGT even when they push that on you when you first sign up at Blue Moon.

Drawings all over the table and toys all over the place with not a child in sight. The fish tank had, had mold. As I was walking by, I saw a room that was recording with security cameras that when I had signed a safety contract had said nothing to do with that.

Then on Sept 22, he came up to shake my hand and acted like he didn't know my name. When I corrected him, he walked off with attitude like he was trying to act tougher instead of being respectful. It did't take more than a month to realize that this gym was priced fairly and the equipment worked well. Another month passes and my credit card was charged DOUBLE what the price I agreed upon was when I signed the phony contract. From 45 to 95 a month with no notice, I couldn't have been more surprised. If you enjoy asshole employees and price gouging for cheap equipment, you would fit right in here!
