I set the intention to leave more relaxed and with an open heart & Brooke intentionally worked to release tension around my shoulders & neck. I've never felt more relaxed afterwards Her technique was balanced and perfect. And they provided fruit, dark chocolate and infused water at the end. My new massage spot FOR SURE! The ambiance is extremely zen and serene, perfect for trying to relax. When I walked in (early), my masseuse, Brooke, was already waiting to welcome me in. Once in the room, she first discussed my problems areas to help her determine the best course of action. She then made sure I was comfortable with her plan as well as the room. The massage itself was so good, it put me to sleep! Hands down one of the best massages I've had. She was delicate but firm at the same time, making sure to work out the kinks but not in a painful way. I definitely left there feeling relaxed. I wish they had a membership, but that doesn't matter, I'll continue going either way! read more

Excellent experience here from checking in to checking out, you can feel the warmth in this place. They have a small sitting area to enjoy tea and water before or after your services. It's a nice touch that afterwards, they bring you a small cup of fruit to have with your beverage. My masseuse did a good job of adjusting the pressure to my liking and focusing on my area of concern. I can with my mom and sister and they both enjoyed their massages as well one of the therapist recommended cupping, so I'll def be back for that or a 90 minute massage. They also have a small area when you check in where they have candles and such for sale. read more

Brooke gives the best massage I've ever had. She gets all the info she needs from you up front, and then it's lofi music and silence from then on. The massage itself if excellent- hits all the points I have trouble with, and that relief LASTS. The Short: Book a massage with Brook!!! You deserve it! The long: Location/parking: Charming but admittedly low key, this tiny house on Huff may never catch your attention. But the professionalism and sweet touches are obvious the moment you step inside! There's plenty of parking in the rear gravel lot. The location is quaint, clean, and relaxing as you want in a spa. Staff: Every interaction I've ever had with the staff here has been great. They're helpful with booking over the phone and in person. And you get none of the pretense and haughtiness of so many spas. Treatments: First, the services are so fairly priced! I'm guilt free about my monthly massage lol But Vayu's best kept secret is BROOKE! After my first 90 minute massage with her, I'm sure I left looking under the influence! But her technique and attention to my specific issues has changed my life after just a few appointments! My chronic neck and back pain is minimal and mostly gone!!! I inevitably fall asleep to her leaning into my knotted muscles and pressure points. And when Brooke gently wakes me, I feel stronger, infinitely calmer, and pain free! I joke that she is my drug of choice LOL But in all seriousness, as someone who has had over 100 massages in many cities, I'll follow Brooke anywhere! Please don't book her out :) read more

You wouldn't know this from the outside, but this spa is heaven on earth. The minute I walked in I felt at peace, relaxed and welcome. I was greeted by name, offered water and sat on the most comfy couch. Then my service started with Kat and she explained everything in great detail and got to work! Just by her touch and her questions I could tell she knew what she was doing and I felt HEARD not just another client to run through a list of products to upsell. She worked out my kinks in the time we had and then offered me a plan of action to help resolve issues down the road! On top of all of this amazing experience you get water AND fruit upon check out which was a nice touch. My husband and I were gifted with a couple's Hot stone massages for the Valentin's Day at Vayu Spa. We were greeted with a warm welcome and directed to a waiting room furnished with comfortable couches and a side table stocked with coffee, tea and water. Michelle and Dina came to greet us and led us downstair to the beautifully decorated and relaxing area where the massages take place. Michelle and Dina were great at working on the areas that we had requested. We fully enjoyed our massages and felt so relaxed. The fresh fruits and water afterwards was a wonderful surprise. This place was amazing. It was easy to schedule an appointment online. I received and email reminder the day before. This place is at Huff Rd Marietta in a cute little house that could be a blink and you miss it. Upon arrival I was greeted and offered water as I filled out routine paperwork. Everyone I encountered was extremely nice and friendly. Roberta was my therapist and she listened to what I was there for and gave me some follow up instructions and ideas for my next massage. Worst massage experience ever. My 1 and a half hour massage went as follows. 1. Got on the table and put my face down in the headrest. When the therapist arrived she then put a cover on the face rest which they had neglected to do so I don't even want to think about whether what my face had been exposed to had been sanitized or not. 2. Loud, mid-tempo jazz (thumping bass and screeching horns) pumped through the speakers which I asked to be turned down. How was I supposed to relax to that? There's a reason relaxing spa music exists, it's a no brainer. 3. I was in the basement and the room was freezing cold. After a cold Atlanta night where temperatures had dropped no one had thought to warm up the room (as beautiful as it was) prior to my massage. I did inform the therapist that I was freezing and could she heat up the room but the heater was kind of around the corner so I never really felt a difference. 4. Next a scolding hot towel was placed on my (freezing cold) back to which she had to immediately snatch off. At this point I was more than over it and requested my massage be cut short to 1 hour. 5. My massage which had started at 4.46 (I had arrived at 4.25) was suddenly over at 5.33. I didn't even get an hour although that's what I paid for. I hate to have to write a review like this for a small business but unfortunately my experience (which was my second at this establishment) now goes down as my worst ever. Who wants to walk out of a spa more stressed than you was walking in? Needless to say I will not be going back. read more

Found this spot to get a prenatal massage during a quick trip up to Atlanta. From the moment I walked in the door I was welcomed and invited to enjoy a variety of hydration options, in a calming waiting area while I waited for my therapist to be ready for me. I was 29 weeks pregnant and they provided a support pillow so that I could get a full body massage that I was desperately needing. My therapist, Roberta, was excellent at assessing my needs and providing great muscle release in my tight hips and back. They also have a great variety of reasonably priced add on services, and I took advantage of some dry brushing which was very soothing and good for circulation. I highly recommend this business to anyone visiting or living in Atlanta. read more

I booked a massage very last minute and they were super accommodating. Brooke was my massage therapist and she was AMAZING! my lower back and neck were tight from recently working out more than usual, and perhaps sleeping wrong (for the neck issue). I booked a 60 minute massage with a cupping add on. I left that massage sooooo refreshed and will ABSOLUTELY be going back to see Brooke again, I could not recommend her more! On Friday I had the blessing to receive a massage from Brooke, who was one of the best masseuse I've ever met. I explained to her that i received a deep tissue massage at the Château Elan and it lacked the "deep tissue" aspect lol. She began the massage and asked if the pressure was fine and it was PERFECT. She offered water prior, and during my massage I was literally drooling. The added lavender oil and heating pads just made the experience amazing. My skin was so soft after and my muscles were relived. I work out 5 days a week and after that massage I felt all the tensions leave my body after. A true gem! I was desperate for a massage but felt weird about such a close experience during COVID. Vayu Spa put my mind at ease with their health-conscious protocols and safety nets in place. WOW!!! I found Vayu in a yelp search looking for massage therapists. They had an incredibly easy online booking system so I gave it a try and was able to book a same day massage. Located in a charming "blink and you'll miss it" house on Huff Road is what I imagine is the closest thing to Heaven on Earth!! I had a 90 minute relaxation massage with Roberta. She was warm and welcoming and spent a few minutes telling me about their spa and going over my concerns, comfort level, and goals for today's massage. The massage was phenomenal! Firm without being uncomfortable, all of the knots and tension in my body melted away. She incorporated essential oils, warm towels, and a heated neck pillow. My only regret is not booking a 2 hour massage! After my massage I was treated to a cup of tea, the whole experience was blissful! Absolutely loved my experience at Vayu spa! I live in the neighborhood so I'd seen it a few times and after reading great reviews decided to treat myself to a Relaxation Massage to reduce some tension that's developed sitting at my kitchen table while working from home. COVID: the business policy explains that everything is sanitized, you can read more of it on their website. Masks were required in the business areas and when face up on the massage table, face down you could remove if you felt comfortable doing so. Massage: Meghan did a great job, I couldn't have asked for a better massage. She was a great communicator and followed my lead on conversation vs relaxation Why 4 stars? Truly this was a fantastic experience and I would recommend Vayu to anyone. That being said, some of the nature of where we were just warrants setting your expectations. The site is a super cozy house off huff road, but anyone who knows Huff road knows how loud the trucks can be. Blackout curtains did as much as possible to block noise but you can still hear them faintly. The rooms are also not too far off the reception area which didn't detract from my experience but note that you can hear check ins during your massage. read more

Wonderful atmosphere. Each of the rooms are elegant and cozy. Cierra had an amazing, relaxing playlist that made my first experience there unique. My second time was spent with Bonnie who I cannot recommend enough! I had the Deep Tissue massage and while she was firm and relieving-- my massage wasn't painful.
