Unfortunately, this was a really poor massage experience. I filled out the preference sheet before hand and none of it was listened to. I had to ask every minute or so to go softer as it was extremely aggressive and fast. Despite asking to go a bit slower, nothing changed. The one area I asked to avoid, was not avoided and I had to ask twice to stop since I specifically did not want that worked on. I felt as though what I asked for her to focus on was not at all done, despite multiple attempts to have her just work on the areas I came into the massage parlor for. I was pretty tense the entire time because I was uncomfortable. I have been in pain since my massage. There was also another woman that came into the same room getting a massage with just a curtain separating us, which I was unaware would happen when booking online. I was told upon arriving that it may happen during my session without an option. Overall, it was a poor experience. read more

My friend and I recently visited Rebalance Spa in Atlanta for a 30-minute foot massage and a 90-minute body massage. While there were a few positive moments, the overall experience was disappointing and left me feeling underwhelmed. The interior of the spa is clean, and the staff at the front desk started out kind and welcoming. We began with the foot massage--my friend enjoyed hers, but mine was overly rough and uncomfortable. Adding to the issue, the foot massage area is located in the front of the spa, which made it hard to relax with the constant sound of the phone ringing, the receptionist chatting, and cars passing by. Next, we moved to a different room for the body massages, which I hoped would improve the experience, but unfortunately, it didn't. My massage was uncomfortably rough, even after repeatedly asking the masseuse to go lighter. My friend, who was in the same room, even commented on how loud the masseuse was pounding on me. It was impossible to relax, and I left feeling more tense than when I arrived. To top it off, when paying and leaving a tip through their Venmo barcode, the front desk lady made the experience awkward by pressuring me the entire time about the amount I was tipping and that they hadn't received the tip yet. I hadn't clicked send yet, of course you can't see. It. It was uncomfortable and left a bad taste after an already mixed visit. They targeted all the spots I circled and did an awesome job relieving my built up tension. Today, I came in for a 90 min massage, but due it being close to closing they offered two massage therapists for 45 min. The two therapists CeeCee and LuLu were amazing! They hit all the requested areas and checked on me constantly throughout the massage to confirm the pressure was okay. I feel very relaxed and the tension melted away. Worst massage ever. My masseuse was sick and was wearing a mask, but he was constantly coughing, sneezing, and I could hear him wheezing very loudly. This man was clearly very sick because he could barely speak. My 1 hour full body massage was not peaceful at all. I had to listen to him coughing and sneezing the entire time. I brought it up with the front desk and they said "but he's wearing a mask" and dropped the issue. Also keep an eye on what the up sale is because i was overcharge. My massage was 2 hrs on the website it says its 110 but I was informed that was the old price I was fine with that it's actually 125 and I wanted for deep tissue. That was additional $10 so it's $135. And while getting foot massage I was sold salt scrub For $10.... Total now is $145. But when I checked out I was charged $150. Decent first time experience. I had an appointment for a facial for my birthday and it was simply okay. Thoughts and Recommendations: - The facial is more like a massage for your face. I'm not new to the world of facials. I've been getting facials (chemical peels, microdermabrasion, oxygen facials) for several years and this "facial" is not truly a facial. Most of the appointment was spent massaging my face and neck which was LOVELY. The experience was relaxing and felt great but I wouldn't call this a facial. - Very little privacy. The spaces or rooms dedicated for each customer are separated by curtains (at least mine was). I could hear every time the front door opened and closed, every customer checking in and checking out, footsteps, etc. Maybe it was just a busy day but man there is no silence during my facial/massage. - Great staff and customer service. All staff I interacted with were so kind and friendly. I appreciate how warm and welcoming they were with me. If you're looking for an authentic facial I recommend looking for a true esthetician some where else. Whatever oil they used on my face here made me break out the next day. I think this place probably has great body massages but I'll have to come back and try that out to say for sure. read more

Called for same day appointment and I was accommodated. Unfortunately my previous therapist Ellen was no longer employed there. Hunter was my therapist for a 90 min "deep tissue". This is a no frills kind of place (ambiance and decor leaves much to be desired) however their "deep tissue" is excellent. FYI this is not a traditional deep tissue but a traditional acupressure massage with use of therapists' elbows, palms and sometimes pinched fingertips. You will love the massage if you are used to traditional deep tissue massage and you have chronic neck, shoulder or back pain. Prices are very reasonable! I will continue to patronize this place - I walked out wobbly and barely about to drive home - slept great that night. read more

These are good people. They have a spectacular unbeatable deal of an hour long foot and neck massage for $40. This is an over the clothes massage, but they really cover a lot: foot soak, foot massage, calves, hot stone, neck. They will try to upsell you the whole time to add more time or upgrade to a full body, but if you resist, it's a great deal. I have also done one of their regular massages and that was good too, but not as spectacular of a deal. read more

You need to understand that this is Atlanta. You want a good massage then learn good communication skills. You want 60 minutes where (on the body) and what(type of massage). They got you. If they understand you they'll give you what you ask for. The massage is amazing for many reasons here. They know where you are hurting some how and they ask you how hard or medium pressure you like. The prices and oil selections aren't bad as well. Another important thing for me is cleanliness it is really clean and the beds are comfortable I have noticed that other places beds do squeak. When I declined, you could immediately sense the displeasure with the jerking of sheets, hair, and shuffling of oil containers. While I may not understand the language, you do sense the context of the conversation as the two masseuse loudly exchanged comments. I was asked "if I've ever even gotten a massage." - I requested In the online booking and when I got there for female masseuses, when a gentlemen came In the room and I requested a female masseuse again. Which lead to confusion/frustration on their part. - there is a 3% fee for using any kind of card to pay. They prefer cash tips and payment. Do yourself, your body and your loved ones a favor: AVOID. Unless you want to feel like you want to get hit by a speeding car and then immediately run over by a cyclist pulling a skateboarder. Honestly, I believe in massage and its wonderful healing powers when properly done. But I have never gotten such a painful massage before in my life... I was not surprised to see heavy brushing on my lower back, along the spine, between my shoulders and even my kidneys ached just hours after. Never received this kind of trauma from any of my previous many massages, I literally had to Google if it was normal to have bruising after a massage... and NO it is not normal, or acceptable nor is it good or healthy to EVER break capillaries. I debated whether to write this review, because I thought I felt better immediately after the massage. But really what I thought was a good massage was relief - a break from being bruised over and over in the same spots for more than an hour. After I got home last night I had to ice my swollen back, again this morning and now as I write I have a heating pad on high trying to soothe my black and blue backside. Sitting, standing, laying... all hurt now. Considering a doctor... to see what kind of internal damage they can find. Yes, it really hurt during the massage, and I did wince often and cried out in pain twice - to no avail. However not knowing the person was obviously inexperienced, did NOT speak English well, not having a dialogue before diving in, and the suspect low price should have all been a clues that these people did NOT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING TO YOUR BODY so you must demand that they not hurt you. Better yet, maybe it would be best to completely AVOID! So perhaps I'm writing this to document my experience, you know, in case I need it for litigation later. Love it! I'm the girl with the pink hair! I called to set an appointment for me and my friend and we enjoyed the WHOLE experience! First, I was happy to get a last minute appointment the day before and they accommodated me! I made an appointment 2 weeks prior and was told the price. It was for a 90 mins couples massage for $160. 60 mins. For a full body and 20 mins for a foot massage. When I got there they kept trying to add $20 on to everything. It cost $20+ for them to use oil for the massage. Cost $20+ for a scrub which I did not ask for. Then the package itself went from $160 for two people to $100 a person. I could even enjoy my massage not that it was all that enjoyable because the masseuse keep trying to talk about trying to charge me. My massage was very painful they never asked me about the pressure I wanted. And the women giving the massages were talking and laughing about us. They didn't think we knew what they were saying but they said that my legs were hairy and they laughed about that (but seriously who really shaves everyday in the middle of December?) and they were making other remarks about my body that were inappropriate. Totally unprofessional. Then we were done with our massages I was completely pissed and when we paid (IN CASH btw because they were charge you 3% for using your card). They had the nerve to ask for a tip! I just walked out and let my husband handle it because it was just a terrible experience all together! Back to edit my post. My experience was mediocre, I wanted a combo full body massage and every step of the way they tried to up sell me. I asked for medium pressure and it was hard pressure the entire time. In addition to this I had to ask the masseuse to close the door several times after she left the room during my massage. Totally invasive. This was not a good experience. My husband's masseuse did not seem trained, only rubbed his back, and at the end just beat on his back really hard. We got a good laugh about it, but it was not worth the money. My masseuse only massaged the back of my body, and she was very rough. I get massages regularly, and my experience here was not at all like my normal massages. It was not relaxing, and I did not feel better walking out. At the end, the masseuse insisted on a tip as well. We told her we paid her for the massage, and that that was what we wanted to pay. In the end, we gave a small tip.
