We unfortunately needed his services for our beloved German shepherd, Shadow, who was almost 14 years old, and had finally reached a point where his health had failed him. Dr. Borders came to our home and was so kind and compassionate! We were able to move our Shadow into his own yard beneath a shady tree, surrounded by his family, as Dr. Borders helped him cross over. Dr. Borders then took him for cremation, and even brought the remains back to our home in a lovely box about a week later. This was done at a cost the same or even somewhat less than if we had gone through our regular vet! AND, due to Covid19 restrictions, we were told most vets are not even letting families be present when their pets are euthanized in the clinics! That would have been an almost unbearable situation for us! We cannot praise Dr. Borders enough, and would give him 10 stars if we could!

I asked to speak to the doctor, that the receptionist JUST spoke with, and was told he was busy with surgery. So whoever's pet had a surgery at about 10:15 am on March 18th 2025, it was interrupted for the receptionist to ask him a question. This vet seems very unprofessional and disrespectful. Before I could finish explaining, the staff member hung up on me. I truly hope the staff improves its communication, professionalism, and respect for patients and their time.
