But the great Dr Sutten did some research and had him take two different meds.... Well with alot of prayer & Dr Sutten Marley is doing fabulous! In fact they can't detect any heart issue at all:) And Stacie Bell... well she made all this happen in an environment that was so trusting & I felt so positive abt how Marley was being taken care of. We've taken our pets to VCA Animal Hospital since we first got them, so this experience was disappointing. I called simply to get a general ballpark range (high and low) for a dental cleaning--not an exact quote--and made it clear I understood that any additional procedures like extractions would not be included. Unfortunately, they would not provide even a basic price range without requiring an exam first. While I completely understand that a diagnosis can't be made over the phone, it seems reasonable to expect a general estimate for a routine service like a cleaning. Requiring a $107 exam just to get a rough idea of cost feels unnecessary and frustrating as a pet owner trying to plan ahead. Transparency around pricing goes a long way, and this experience has led me to consider seeking care elsewhere. read more

Very bad experience - I cannot recommend you take you pet there. I took our Aussie in as he was having a very bad allergic reaction and both ears were obviously infected. We were seen by Dr. Lopez who would not sedate the dog because it was in the afternoon and they reportedly had no kennels to accommodate him. As such, she did not clean or inspect the inside of his ears and simply guessed at a course of treatment. She guessed wrong. My dog became much worse that night and, fortunately, we were able to get him seen by another vet the following day. As it turned out, both eardrums were ruptured and the other vet informed us that, had we followed the prescribed treatment (by VCA), our dog would have suffered hearing loss. VCA also had very sparce records of what they did and did not even provide me with a receipt. They were sure quick to take my $500 though. read more

Sticker shock followed by a hard sell to buy a years worth of services on what they claim was a low payment. $95 for a five minute exam our other vet offered first basic one for free. And two shots at $55 a piece! I've never been charged that much at a vet before! $210 at the end and I would have lost a deposit of $95 if I just walked away. Their advice for spay was to wait till she is fully grown, likely so they can charge more... Definitely not the same that they were years ago with other animals. I will not be back. *Update* After emailing them at the address in their response. There was no resolution and no apology for selling my information to a third party without my consent or knowledge that they were doing so with the legally required option to opt out. They laughably offered to transfer her record to another provider as if that five minutes with the vet had any relevant information... No thank you! Downgrading from two to one star preferably zero. read more

I took my cat Kissa here & it was super hot. I was told I could come in with my cat, but when I arrived the door was locked. I was livid. But confusion was corrected and Dr Smith & Emma were AMAZING!! SUPER CLEAN facility too. Lisa has never been that calm during an exam, not one growl or hiss lol! Caring, kind & so close to my home. I've had pets all throughout my life. I have never found a vet who seems to care as much as this place has. The vet checks everything with the pet and takes time. She genuinely seems to care. She even asks about what your pet is eating. I've never had a vet ask anything that specific. I didn't give them 5 stars because the prices aren't the best. I'm sure it costs a lot to run a clinic that I'm not aware of though. Great place! Check it out if you have a pet and don't want him/her to be just a number. It is a great feeling to have someone seem to care about the health of your pet. read more

This place is over priced and their employees do not care how they treat animals behind closed doors. I took my dog there for the first time and he needed a procedure done and when they brought him back to me the staff explained he had too much anxiety and couldn't complete the procedure. She explained to me that it took three of their staff to hold him down. They gave me a medication to sedate him to see if it would help and they stated they would give me a sample to see how he responds but then without reason didn't give me any of those sample pills only enough for the night before. So when I medicated my dog for the appointment he ended up getting violently ill and when I called them in the morning to cancel his appointment I explained to them what happened and their staff didn't even care to call me back to ask if he was okay. THEN, when I took him to another vet clinic, they had no problem completing the procedure on my dog and explained to me that he had pissed on himself during the procedure due to the trauma this clinic caused him. I highly recommend taking your pets elsewhere because they obviously do not care how they treat animals and they only want your money. Please keep in mind their prices are a rip off and you can get great, professional, compassionate and affordable care from another clinic like Horse Heaven in Kennewick. VCA is a huge chain of vet clinics so they are over priced and take advantage of people and their employees are obviously only there for a paycheck. Do your wallet and your fur babies a favor and take them some where else read more

My dog Whiskey was so sick wouldn't eat and was very wobbly. His head would shake. We new it was bad. They found a tumor that was bleeding into his stomach. It was Cancer. He was suffering and it was only going to get worse. The dr and assistant were so kind to us as they gave us our options. We could try kemo and radiation.surgery. It would be very expensive and he would be so sick and not sure it would even work. As sad as it was for us we didn't want Whiskey to go through all of that. Well we decided to let him go. The staff were so kind to us. They stayed with us all to the end. They wrapped him in his blanket took his paw print in plaster and put him in a coffin box for us to bury him in gave us the plaster paw print. As hard as it was they made it a little easier with all their kindness. Thank you to everyone. read more

Very over priced vet clinic with the most most unpleasant front staff, and vet assistants. The desk woman talks down to you as if you have never owned a animal before, and as if you were an idiot. She also got very irritated with my 4 month old puppy for getting too excited, and dribbling a little pee. Because no dog has done that before.... There is ONE vet there that is a diamond in the ruff, and if she was somewhere else i would bring my animals always. Unfortunately I will not be going back after several bad experiences, and my vet hunt continues. read more

I've had both cats and dogs over the past 40+ years, and used various veterinarians in difference cities... but Dr. Harbinson has by far outshone all the others with her willingness to research care options and suggest solutions outside what is just 'easy' or normal. The peace of mind she gave me in caring for JoJo cannot be quantified and when it was time for him to leave us, she was compassionate and kind. Crystal has been amazing as well, and I can truly say that I feel they've treated me as much like family as they could have. The staff at Vineyard are patient and efficient and the smaller size of the clinic is much more inviting than the large ones where you never know which vet you'll see. I appreciate their professional care of all my critters but the peace of mind they gave me with JoJo throughout their care of him was an extra blessing. read more

I've taken my boxers to this office for a year now. The staff is so sweet and kind to all creatures who walk into their office. My boxer is very sensitive to vaccines. They addressed all my concerns and even monitored her for a few hours to make sure she was safe. I was not charged for the extra monitoring. My boxer girl just was loved and taken care of. Having had moved and needing a new vet I was nervous about finding one. I have been so pleased with VCA here in Kennewick. I'm so glad I found them! read more

I recently have seen both vets that work here and would have to say I am not at all impressed with Dr. Lyons. I had seen her with my cat a few times and he did not seem to get better, I then saw Dr. Small and he has improved greatly. I had to go back for a recheck and Dr. Small was not there so I had to see Dr. Lyons. In the course of our conversation she told me that she did not know why Dr. Small does things the way she does because she was trained in Europe and that Dr. Small doesn't follow US protocol. I found this to be very demeaning towards Dr. Small as it came across negatively and thought it in poor taste for Dr. Lyon to say something like that about her colleague. Again, my cat is doing much better, Dr. Smalls care is exceptional and I will continue to see her. read more

We made the decision to have our dog put down. She was quite old and hurting, and we knew it was the right thing to do. From the initial phone call, before, during and after the procedure, the staff at this clinic was so compassionate. They were very accommodating and thoughtful and allowed us the time we needed.
