We happened upon Suze & Badger Mountain Pet Care, and cautiously gave them a try. We interviewed her over the phone, and had an in-home consult shortly thereafter. Boy, were we pleasantly surprised when she came over! Not only was Suze super-professional, but she 1) treated us as valued customers from the start, and 2) she treated her business like a business - GO FIGURE! Licensed, bonded, & insured, Suze was the real deal when it came down to the brass tacks of her business. Not only did she maintain a legitimate business presence, but she also carried herself in a professional manner, and had all the documentation that you would expect from a professional. She asked the right questions, took notes, and walked the property with us, in order to cover ALL the bases, in the event of an, "Uh oh" moment. Beyond getting us to wag our tails, our dogs were instantly drawn to Suze's calmness & demeanor. Our pets - whom are family, to us - were happy and relaxed in Suze's presence, which made us feel supremely confident in her abilities to manage our home & hearth while we were away. During our absence, we would receive texts / photos periodically - and Suze never hesitated to contact us with a question / concern, whether about the property, or the dogs. We LIKE this, and if you do as well, we would encourage you to call Suze for a consult in your home. When we return home, everything is in order, and our dogs are happy. We realistically couldn't ask for more from Suze & Badger Mountain Pet Care.

Super reliable, personable, and she always leaves me a note about how my pets did while I was gone. Highly recommend!

Dr Oliver who owns this facility failed to do a pressure test, a few days later my dog looked worse we called they gave is pain medicine saying yeah he may have pain. A few days later he was not getting better, they told us to bring him in on Monday. They did a pressure test and he had glacoma, this is common in husky. We are now being sent to spokane to try and save his eye if possible but it's obvious he has lost all vision. With glacoma you must catch within first 48 hours or the pressure makes them blind. His negligence made my dog blind because he didn't take the time to check everything. This place is good for big animals but not for small. They won't admit fault and will be reporting them to the vets board of directors. This is bullshit and I would love to strip him of his license. Looking at reviews this is not the first or last time, if you see this and your pet has gone through something similar please p Report we need at much as possible to shut this place down. So Noone else has to go through what we all have had to go through because of there negligence.

Dog needed to be "fixed". I thought I would do a little research. I googled "Average cost of…read moreneuter". Came out to be $150 or so. So when I started calling all the local vets I was shocked to learn that it was going to cost $300 to $330 to get the little operation done. I went and asked around at work. "Definitely call Columbia Veterinary Clinic." What a difference. $127 for the same service!!! Now the place is a bit of a dive, but the dog doesn't care! The procedure is like McDonalds (and I say this as a good thing). It is an "in and out" kind of a thing. 1. You set up appointment 2. You drop off dog between 7:30 and 9:00 am (there is a line of people waiting to get animals checked in) 3. The talk fast and curt: they want information, they write it down and someone takes the dog immediately to the back room 4. You pick up the dog between 3 and 4, and they mean it. Don't be late or there is a fine. BUT DID I MENTION THEY ARE ARE INEXPENSIVE. Now I supposed you could go somewhere else, have a smiling vet come out, shake your hand, tell you how cute your dog is, and this can all be done in a new fancy building with dog leashes for sale hanging off the wall...BUT THE DOG DOESN'T CARE! And neither should you. Save the money, and take your pet here. Sooo much cheaper than anywhere else. BTW, my dog also had a hernia. Another $50 took care of it while he was still under. I am sure it would have been 3 times that somewhere else. One more thing...if this seems impersonal and you wonder if the vet is going to do a good job...there was research done recently on hospitals that specialize in heart surgeries (for humans) that showed the doctor who did surgeries all day learned to do it quickly and better than those who did fewer. I am sure this vet is a professional who knows his stuff...you don't meet him because he is doing what he does best, taking care of your dog.
