After calling, leaving messages and emails, I finally received a response. BEWARE the quoted price is not what you will pay. I was quoted $450. I gave a $150 deposit. A few hours before pick up I was told the price would be $1350. The explanation was they are the middle man and the driver sets the rate. They'd assured me my car would be picked up for/by a rate/date certain and I paid a deposit. The day before, they called and said their driver had a "breakdown" and the new driver would need $1200 more to pick up my car. (Still couldn't reach the driver independently to confirm this.) Bait and switch, absolutely. Transport from FL to IN last week ordered over a week ago and the quote was $500 total. That sounded quite low to me, which I should have smelled it. Dispatcher called me a couple days in advance and said he would hande things for me and not to worry, will call back with timing. Day of scheduled pick up he called back to advise cost would be 1200 total and a truck was available in 20 minutes. In my opinion they are over-promising and under-delivering. I used them for a company move and was quoted $ 800, paid a $250 deposit, they then turned around and said they couldn't get a driver for the timeframe I requested, and then miraculously found one but needed $350 more of a deposit because of driver route issues, went up on the price at the end. That driver canceled on them. I told them if they didn't find a driver before by 4pm on Friday, that we would wait until next week. They never called me back. Via a text, I was told on a Friday night that they found a driver at 7:58pm and I text back saying we would schedule the pick up on Monday because it was the weekend and no one would be available for the pick up after work hours or a delivery on the weekend where it was going. The dispatcher called me on Saturday morning saying the driver was at the pick up spot and the office was closed. You can only imagine how angry I was. I had to scramble to find someone to rush down to that office to meet with the driver. They delivered on Monday as promised but didn't call before the delivery so I could have someone there. They have been blowing my phone up with text messages up for another pick up and I have told them repeatedly to not call me and cancel any further quotes because I would never use that company again! It has been three weeks since that ordeal. Throughout this whole process, I originally told them I was working with a Rose Brown. I shared with them my frustrations and they referred me to Kevin Brown her husband like that was going to make a difference. This company is a scam. I was given a price of 150.00 for a transport for my vehicle. I sent a 75.00 deposit, as instructed to send it to as I was told was the driver. A few minutes after sending the money I was told that my driver was stuck in a DOT inspection and that they would have to find me another driver. According to the person I was communicating with, there were no other drivers available but assured me that he would work very hard to find me another driver. He got back to me and stated that he had found a driver and the driver was coming from 150 miles away just to pick up my vehicle. I immediately told him that that's fine as long as the price remains the same. I asked if the price was the same, he waited a while then said, the driver will pick up your vehicle for 350. I said no he will not. He will pick up my car for the price of the invoice or it will not be done. He said okay let me see what I can do. Then he got back to me via text message and said ma'am I have driver that will do the transport for 225. I stuck to my guns and said no that's not the price on the invoice and told him I will only pay what's on the invoice and what you initially assured me was the price. Eventually communication stopped as I am certain that this company is a scam. I asked for a refund for the 75.00 deposit today and haven't heard back from him. Iam seeking legal counsel as well as taking this to social media. Iam also contacting Channel7 I-TEAM to see if they can assist in this matter. I requested a car transport quote and was contacted by "Jack Harrison". Quote was pretty good so I agreed to contract and sent a deposit for a pick-up on 3/7, but was told I would hear back regarding time window on 3/6. No one contacted me 3/6 and on 3/7, after several phone call attempts, I finally got in contact with "Jack". He gave excuse after excuse for why there is communication regarding my pick-up and then stated he was trying to "find a driver"...WTF!!! I paid my deposit a week ago and you still have no driver??? I immediately requested a refund of my deposit and stated I did not want to do any business with them at all. Jack repeatedly disregarded my refund request stating that he was on the phone with the driver and that my car would be picked up today. I told him again and again I just wanted my refund. He stated he would call me in 30 minutes 3 TIMES from 9:00am and did nothing. I called him back at 11:00 and my calls were now ignored. I had to research the corporate office to get a different number only to speak to another rep who only said that he sees "Jack" is getting my driver ready, but it would cost me an extra $600!!! At this point, I'm screaming "REFUND MY MONEY" and no one still isn't listening. I'm then forwarded to a "supervisor" who I again state "REFUND MY MONEY" who also STILL tries to tell me a driver is coming. When I threaten to contact the Louisiana BBB, he puts a "Senior Manager" on the phone, who is now asking me to repeat my story for the FOURTH TIME.
