I've always enjoyed the music of Toni Braxton, so when I heard this show was coming to Vegas I knew…read moreI wanted to see it if they were performing when I was here. The stars aligned and I got tickets. The show itself was good. Toni sang many of her pop and R&B hits over the course of the show including a showstopping performance of Unbreak My Heart. In between sets of songs, Cedric The Entertainer would perform some stand-up comedy, and at one point, he and Toni did a comedic bit together. It ran for almost two hours which was nice given most shows top out around 90 minutes here. My deduction of a star is for three reasons. First, the seating on the floor of The Chelsea was horrible. We were all packed in like sardines and I had someone I didn't know literally sitting on my left hip. It was awkward and uncomfortable, and next time I'd get a seat off the floor. Second, the show didn't really know what it wanted to be. There was a very loud DJ prior to the show playing small snippets of tunes and trying to get the crowd pumped up. When the show started most everyone on the floor stood for about five minutes and then sat back down. Some people stood up again here and there. But no one really knew if it was a concert or a variety show, and I think the show itself would benefit from better defining its end goal (aside from love and laughter both of which were prevalent throughout). Finally, the show started 40 minutes late. While that's not super unreasonable, I'd rather you just say 9:00 p.m. and start on time than post an 8 p.m. start time and begin over a half hour later. Especially given the uncomfortable nature of the seating. Despite these flaws, I really did enjoy the show and have no problem recommending it for fans of either act.

We received free tickets from MGM, thankfully, because had we paid this show, I would have demanded…read morea refund. 1st, they went on stage almost an hour late. I know that there was some lip syncing going on. If you take the "F" word out of Cedric's set, then he would have no set. I don't need to hear political view when I go to show, I go to get away from all of the crap on the world. They were only on for about an hour and forty five minutes.. Sorry, but I wouldn't go see this again
