My fiance and I attended the monet lilies class on Sunday 4/12/26. We've attended the Town Square…read morelocation multiple times and thoroughly enjoyed each class. We were excited to try one at this location since it's closer to home for us. Compared to the town square location our experience here was lacking. The class was less than half full, however they had everyone squished together for some reason. The class used 7 different paint colors, as such, there was a lot of cleaning brushes and mixing on our palettes. However, the class was given just 1 palette and 1 sheet of paper towel to start. The attendant was not very attentive, requiring most of the class to actively flag her down to request more supplies. The instructor did a poor job explaining how to execute the different brush strokes and techniques. At times she would simply say "push the yellow on". In my other experiences the instructor would describe in more detail exactly how to do it (amount of force, direction, etc.) Additionally, she forgot to mention certain colors she was mixing, noticing when the majority of the class was clearly coming up with a very different color. Lastly, the woman who I assume was the manager was helping the young man working the bar on how to use the POS. He mentioned to her along the lines of not knowing how to close a tab without a tip. She began muttering how "stingy" the customer was for not leaving a tip, mentioning it multiple times, loud enough for us on the other side of the room to hear. Completely unprofessional. Overall I would say the staff need more training and to be more mindful of how they're speaking infront of customers. At the price point these classes are offered at, we don't plan on coming back to this location unless they're able to improve on this.

Ashlyn has incredible people skills and does an amazing job engaging with every customer, whether there are only a couple of people in the store or it's packed. She's always aware of what's going on around her, makes everyone feel welcome, and somehow makes every kid feel like a winner. One thing that really stood out to us is the care she puts into stacking and arranging the prizes so the kids feel like they actually have a chance to win. That extra effort doesn't go unnoticed. The machines may not be as full as other claw places but the quality and staff is what really sets this place apart. Ashlyn consistently goes above and beyond, and her positive attitude and genuine care make the entire experience fun and memorable. She is a huge asset to The Claw Store, and we hope she's recognized for the outstanding job she does!

I was able to communicate with the party planner through email and then make one payment for everyone to include the gratuity as well. This worked out great because we did not have to worry about settling the bill the day of the class. When we arrived, we had our private room set up and our instructor was very nice and welcoming. There is a full bar that you can go up to and purchase items anywhere from alcohol to water to coffee. The prices were very reasonable. The class itself was very fun and those two hours went by really fast. You do get little mini breaks. The instructor was very helpful and took things slow. You do not have to be an artist to come away with something looking amazing. The paintings for the most part were dry by the time we were ready to leave because they were acrylic. However, they let us keep them at the studio while we had lunch across the street and by the time we came back, everything was completely dry. Overall, it was a five star experience and we will be planning another event.

Got to melt the wax and mix everything. No....... All you do is pick the scent and stick the wick to the jar. They bring you a cup of melted wax you stir your scent in and pour it in the jar. I'm sorry but not fun and not worth it. Also awkward with no music and being the only ones in there with the staff. As far as the painting it was our first black light paint experience. It was interesting but fun! We got the little fun pack with a light up flower crown, glasses, candy, and face paint. It was a cute add on! They have a nice little menu for drinks and snacks. The class was fun overall and instructor was nice butttttt it was not as helpful as the other paint classes I've taken where they really go step by step. This was a more free hand ... here's some ways to make trees but you just do it yourself how you want. Which is cool but also frustrating if you suck at painting like most people do. Overall fun but other places have been better.

There's a solid variety of rhythm games here. Everything from dance-heavy games like DDR to instrumental favorites like Guitar Hero, plus plenty in between. It really feels like there's something for everyone, no matter what kind of rhythm games you're into, and the hour flew by. There were plenty of thoughtful touches, too: water bottle filling stations near the bathrooms and plenty of seating throughout for breaks or setting down your stuff. Overall, this place feels like a total hidden gem with amazing value, and it's definitely going into my rotation for future visits!

I really appreciate that the two types of rhythm games are separated so that you can hear your game's music easier. Overall, this is a rhythm game fan's heaven! As a bonus, there's a random Initial D machine in the corner, which I spent some time on. :) You pay by time; 9$ gets you an hour of play, 13$ gets you two hours, and $18 for an all-day pass. They have lots of other options too, including a monthly subscription if you come often. These prices are great considering how much a single game would cost at a Round1 or Dave & Busters. They also sell the cards for $6.50 that let you create accounts on the games like e-amusement, aime, banana passport or whatever, and so forth. Special shoutout to the really kind staff member that helped us on the day we went. We got two 2-hour cards, and started playing DDR World. Unfortunately, I think they were having power issues, because our game shut off abruptly, and so did the Pump it Up machine on the other side. The staff brought the power back on quickly, but it happened again, so they gave us another free 2 hours on our cards, which was super nice!! We stumbled upon this place on a short trip to Vegas, and we really wish we had one of these kinds of places back in LA. Support your local small arcades and scenes!!!
