I was able to experience the Las Vegas Philharmonic for the first time. The Smith Center is easy to get to and plenty of parking downtown in the garages right across the street. The building is beautiful inside and out. I had box seats. Great view. There is also a bar to purchase non-alcoholic drinks and cocktails. Highly recommend seeing a show or concert here. Made for a wonderful evening.

I absolutely love the Smith Center. It's gorgeous, the staff is friendly, and there's a lot of great seating options. I've sat everywhere from the balcony to just a few rows from the stage in the orchestra section. I can't recall all the shows I've seen but I remember My Fair Lady being the first one and Hamilton being the last. I also remember seeing Tootsie and Six the Musical a few times. The sound has been great every single time. Doors open about an hour before and you first go through security. I then recommend heading to merch if you want some merch and then finding a nice spot to hang out and relax while you wait for the show to start. I can't wait to come back. In just a few years my niece will be old enough to enjoy it as well.

Amazing performing art center. Many of the balcony seats all have good views. Multiple bars and concessions to get drinks and snacks before going in. Multiple parking garages around the symphony park for $6-10. Great show and experience.

Vegas culture - seeing the Nutcracker

Another enjoyable evening at the Smith Center this time for our holiday tradition of seeing the Nutcracker. This year they returned to allowing you to take your hot cocoa to your seat which was wonderful and allowed you to savor it during the show. The show has been reworked this year. For one, they no longer have the video display which outlines each act of the story and tells you what to expect. For someone who didn't know the story this might make it harder to follow what was going on. They have new sets and costumes as well. Honestly the first half seemed worse than last year while the second half seemed better. Still it was overall an enjoyable night!

Even though I've attended more shows and Broadway production's than I can count over the years at The Smith Center this was my first concert. My Hubs is a longtime Robin Trower fan. Decades of musical mastery, iconic albums and that unmistakable sound that has influenced countless players. A true guitar legend with cheap seat prices- 2 tickets please! Hearing him play live in such an intimate, high-quality setting was something special. All in all, The Smith Center delivered a fantastic concert experience that was smoke free with comfortable seating and sonically outstanding. An always helpful staff with great bartenders and small bites. I'm already looking forward to my next show!

The Smith Center is truly a beloved cultural hub in Las Vegas. The building itself is beautiful, with elegant architecture that makes the entire experience feel special from the moment you arrive. The venue is well run, clean, and organized, and the staff is friendly and helpful, which makes getting in and seated smooth even on busy show nights. The performances are consistently memorable, whether you're seeing Broadway productions, ballet, concerts, or special events. The sound quality is excellent, and most seats offer a great view of the stage, though choosing seats wisely definitely enhances the experience. It's a refreshing alternative to typical Strip entertainment and perfect for date nights, family outings, or a cultural night out. Parking can take a little extra time during peak events, so arriving early is a good idea, but overall it's absolutely worth the visit. The Smith Center continues to be one of the best places in Vegas to enjoy live performing arts. Note: no outside food or drinks

I was shocked to see I've never written a review for one of my favorite places to be in the city! I have been coming to The Smith Center since my first show (The Book of Mormon) in 2014. First, this place is beautiful! There's a parking garage right across which is usually $6. The area has developed so much over the years, so there's a few businesses around. Second, the staff is always so kind. Whether it's the ticket checkers, security, ushers, or bar staff, we have never had a bad time. We have been to a number of shows over the years and have sat in many different areas. Typically we try to keep it to the lower level of the gallery, but lately we've been going for the dress circle. We just saw The Lion King in the 2nd row center of the dress circle and it was perfect! The view is great, you can still see everything going on, and it's not as pricey as the lower seats and not as high as the upper seats. I've also been here a number of times for the Disney in Schools program and to see the Las Vegas Philharmonic, so I've been in the lower sections for those. I was also lucky enough to get moved to the lower section for Six (squeal!!!). If I could swing it every time, I definitely would sit there. But I think the more tiered seating of the upper levels makes it better for view when there's people in front of you (I'm kinda short). I absolutely love The Smith Center. Their Broadway series programming is always on point, there's typically at least 1 show that I want to see each year. My husband and I have said that we will do the pass for multiple shows one year, just haven't had anything to entice me yet. Not only do they do the Broadway series, but they stage local theater as well. I've seen local shows here, live music, dance, educational presentations, etc. There's so much to offer here and I'm so happy they have been so successful!

Saturday night went to see the NEW Nutcracker. Seeing the Nutcracker has become a family tradition. The Smiths Center is so beautiful & just a special place. The ballet now has a live orchestra, new costumes and lighting. I mean it has really been upgraded. I love the old one but this one you have to see!! You aren't allowed to take video or pictures during the show so you will have to go check it out. See my pics of Maddy and me

The Smith Center is like no other venue in Las Vegas. It is a cultural epicenter for the arts. Most recently we saw A Beautiful Noise. Getting in and out can get busy closer to showtime. We typically arrive when the doors open and enjoy a cocktail before the show and make use of their lounge area, which makes parking a breeze. I don't think there is a bad seat in the house but I recommend binoculars if you're seated in the balcony in order to see facial expressions. The staff is friendly and accommodating. As of this review guest are allowed to bring an empty clear bottle for water. There are water fill stations inside. Drink prices are typical for the area with a double rum and coke going for $17. Parking is $6.

We saw the Shen Yun show a few weeks ago. The venue was gorgeous and the show was nice. We will definitively return for other shows. Be early as parking is a bit crazy with lots of construction in the area leading to the parking garage.

The Smith Center is the premier place to see a theater show in Las Vegas! The building is a beautiful Art Deco style with amazing architectural detail. The staff are polite and helpful. They generally have cash bars available to get drinks before the shows and at intermissions. We were fortunate to get tickets for Hamilton. The production was great. However, the staff we interacted with made this experience great!

After all of the years that I have lived in Vegas- I cannot believe that I have never been to the Smith Center until recently! A friend of mine gave me a ticket to see Hamilton last week, box seats at that! What an amazing venue! The Smith Center is conveniently located downtown, near the freeway, with a parking garage right across the street. Parking was only $6 for the entire duration of my stay. Drinks inside of the venue are very reasonably priced. The venue itself is beautiful! Now having been exposed to this venue, I will most definitely be returning for more shows!

Always a fun and memorable time at the Smith Center. This time my wife and I attended Romeo and Juliet in October on opening night. The seats where in the Dress Circle level and in the far back right in the middle of the theater. The view was perfect and the production was great. My wife enjoyed it was well and look forward to our next show.

Here is why I would recommend Cobblestone Cottage (from a male perspective who has never been to a tea house). (1) I called for Easter Sunday reservation 4 days prior to Easter. I imagined the place would be booked, yet instead of the host who answered the phone simply stating they were sold out, she said she would see what could be done to possibly get us in and have someone call me back. (2) To my surprise, the owner (Arsine) called me a day later and also stated they were full, yet she stated she wanted me to know she was going to keep trying to see if she could juggle reservations and get us in. (3) Yet again, the owner remembers to call me the following day and secures a reservation. I was shocked that she remembered and knew she was making every effort to create a memorable moment for my mom. (4) My mom unfortunately had accident requiring hospitalization and we had to cancel our reservation. The owner actually called back to ask how my mom was doing! Wow...that was amazing display of heartfelt care from a busy business owner. (5) The owner worked with us to find another day that we could arrive after my mom recovered. Upon arrival, we were literally greeted with open arms by the owner. Literally this woman was there to ensure all was well. Her service team was a delight and equally attentive. The other patrons were smiling and clearly also enjoying their experience. And most of all for me, my mom kept smiling in gratitude and admiration of a lovely afternoon. (6) And final note, the food and decadent sconces, soup, salad, sandwiches, and desserts were DELICIOUS. As it turns out, the owner is a chef. Arsine is a class act when it comes to hospitality. A visit to Cobblestone Cottage is like going to your favorite relatives house and being embraced and cared for like family.

The space is very welcoming and would use them for photography sessions. These are the reasons I am giving 4 stars. When we booked and paid the fee to view the venue, the green couch on my photos wasn't there. I understand that that there is furniture and it can be moved around but I viewed it in September/October and based my vision of tables and vendors on what I saw. It took a whole wall space section that we intended to use for tables and chairs. It did leave around 12 ish people standing. Luckily we made it work by moving the couch to the back corner. Around 2-3 people used it. I say this because we did have a lot of people around or close to the max capacity plus various vendors and decor. With the existing furniture that wasn't necessarily there originally, it made it difficult to work around. The additional Christmas decoration showed up in photos and we couldn't store all of them away as the storage space is small. There is a lot of furniture and not all of it fits in the storage room and thus they showed up in some of our pics. I just think these are things that should probably be removed if there is a birthday party/ any party going on. The welcome sign floor mat you see in my photos is dangerous. We had a few people slid on it and luckily no one was hurt but the floor is super slippery and with the mat right in front of the storage room with people coming in and out, it's just dangerous and probably should be removed. At the beginning there was a paper roll for paper towels but after it was done all guests thought there was no more. I checked and didn't see none. I asked THP and they said there were some under the sink. Still didn't see any. It wasn't until the end of the party that my friend said there were some but as you can see in my photos, they look like tissues. So no one used them. I can see why people would be confused. Guests went without paper towels for the rest of the party. Lastly, the cleaning. I am a firm believer that everyone should do their part but most of my guests were appalled that we had to do our own cleaning. I did let them know we agreed to it and didn't mind but they were just perplexed since they did see me scramble in the beginning trying to hide furniture and wondered why if it wasn't done for us why we were also cleaning. Again, this was agreed upon by us but most guests treated it as a venue versus a photography space. All in all, I do recommend the space for your party or photography session but if you are using it as a venue for a celebration, note that there will be furniture (maybe more than when you view the venue) and that you will need to allocate the right amount of hours for your vendor set up and tear down plus cleaning which adds up and cuts into your actual party time.

She was organized, calm, and on top of every detail. She made the entire process feel easy and stress free. On the wedding day, everything ran smoothly because of her and DJ Syd. The photographer, whose name I sadly forget, perfectly captured our memories. The food was amazing (get the chicken piccata). Our guests are still talking about it. Every dish was fresh, well prepared, and full of flavor. The service was even better than we expected. The staff was attentive, kind, and truly cared about making our day special. Perhaps best of all, is the fact that we weren't nickel and dimed. Their pricing was up front and truly turnkey. The value for our money was amazing. If you are looking for a wedding venue in Las Vegas, this is the place. The Side Yard exceeded our expectations in every way. We could not have asked for a better experience.
