Came here for the first time to see the Notebook musical. My only regret was not getting orchestra seating i.I got box seats but you Could only see half the stage . Other than that, the venue is amazing.. . Acoustics were excellent and everything was well organized. Parking is across the street but they have shuttle service that picks up and drops off if you don't want to walk. Concession stands are available, but snack offerings are limited. The lobby area is spacious and the art deco is beautiful. Staff were professional and friendly. The atmosphere was friendly and inviting. Overall highly recommend and will be returning for future shows.

I was able to experience the Las Vegas Philharmonic for the first time. The Smith Center is easy to get to and plenty of parking downtown in the garages right across the street. The building is beautiful inside and out. I had box seats. Great view. There is also a bar to purchase non-alcoholic drinks and cocktails. Highly recommend seeing a show or concert here. Made for a wonderful evening.

Vegas culture - seeing the Nutcracker

Another enjoyable evening at the Smith Center this time for our holiday tradition of seeing the Nutcracker. This year they returned to allowing you to take your hot cocoa to your seat which was wonderful and allowed you to savor it during the show. The show has been reworked this year. For one, they no longer have the video display which outlines each act of the story and tells you what to expect. For someone who didn't know the story this might make it harder to follow what was going on. They have new sets and costumes as well. Honestly the first half seemed worse than last year while the second half seemed better. Still it was overall an enjoyable night!

I absolutely love the Smith Center. It's gorgeous, the staff is friendly, and there's a lot of great seating options. I've sat everywhere from the balcony to just a few rows from the stage in the orchestra section. I can't recall all the shows I've seen but I remember My Fair Lady being the first one and Hamilton being the last. I also remember seeing Tootsie and Six the Musical a few times. The sound has been great every single time. Doors open about an hour before and you first go through security. I then recommend heading to merch if you want some merch and then finding a nice spot to hang out and relax while you wait for the show to start. I can't wait to come back. In just a few years my niece will be old enough to enjoy it as well.

Even though I've attended more shows and Broadway production's than I can count over the years at The Smith Center this was my first concert. My Hubs is a longtime Robin Trower fan. Decades of musical mastery, iconic albums and that unmistakable sound that has influenced countless players. A true guitar legend with cheap seat prices- 2 tickets please! Hearing him play live in such an intimate, high-quality setting was something special. All in all, The Smith Center delivered a fantastic concert experience that was smoke free with comfortable seating and sonically outstanding. An always helpful staff with great bartenders and small bites. I'm already looking forward to my next show!

I was shocked to see I've never written a review for one of my favorite places to be in the city! I have been coming to The Smith Center since my first show (The Book of Mormon) in 2014. First, this place is beautiful! There's a parking garage right across which is usually $6. The area has developed so much over the years, so there's a few businesses around. Second, the staff is always so kind. Whether it's the ticket checkers, security, ushers, or bar staff, we have never had a bad time. We have been to a number of shows over the years and have sat in many different areas. Typically we try to keep it to the lower level of the gallery, but lately we've been going for the dress circle. We just saw The Lion King in the 2nd row center of the dress circle and it was perfect! The view is great, you can still see everything going on, and it's not as pricey as the lower seats and not as high as the upper seats. I've also been here a number of times for the Disney in Schools program and to see the Las Vegas Philharmonic, so I've been in the lower sections for those. I was also lucky enough to get moved to the lower section for Six (squeal!!!). If I could swing it every time, I definitely would sit there. But I think the more tiered seating of the upper levels makes it better for view when there's people in front of you (I'm kinda short). I absolutely love The Smith Center. Their Broadway series programming is always on point, there's typically at least 1 show that I want to see each year. My husband and I have said that we will do the pass for multiple shows one year, just haven't had anything to entice me yet. Not only do they do the Broadway series, but they stage local theater as well. I've seen local shows here, live music, dance, educational presentations, etc. There's so much to offer here and I'm so happy they have been so successful!

Amazing performing art center. Many of the balcony seats all have good views. Multiple bars and concessions to get drinks and snacks before going in. Multiple parking garages around the symphony park for $6-10. Great show and experience.

The Smith Center is truly a beloved cultural hub in Las Vegas. The building itself is beautiful, with elegant architecture that makes the entire experience feel special from the moment you arrive. The venue is well run, clean, and organized, and the staff is friendly and helpful, which makes getting in and seated smooth even on busy show nights. The performances are consistently memorable, whether you're seeing Broadway productions, ballet, concerts, or special events. The sound quality is excellent, and most seats offer a great view of the stage, though choosing seats wisely definitely enhances the experience. It's a refreshing alternative to typical Strip entertainment and perfect for date nights, family outings, or a cultural night out. Parking can take a little extra time during peak events, so arriving early is a good idea, but overall it's absolutely worth the visit. The Smith Center continues to be one of the best places in Vegas to enjoy live performing arts. Note: no outside food or drinks

full house view from Box Tier Z

Just saw "Hell's Kitchen" at Reynolds Hall (Amazing Alicia Keycute version of growing up in New York) Smith Center is the easiest and most enjoyable traditional performing art venue in Vegas: safe, fast e-ticket only check-in, affordable $6 event parking, convenient sandwiches and snacks on mezzanine level, easy access to all seats, fast entry and exit. Plus, it's just totally GORGEOUS inside. We sat in Box Tier Z (supposedly obstructed view) right next to/above the stage...FANTASTIC!

Saturday night went to see the NEW Nutcracker. Seeing the Nutcracker has become a family tradition. The Smiths Center is so beautiful & just a special place. The ballet now has a live orchestra, new costumes and lighting. I mean it has really been upgraded. I love the old one but this one you have to see!! You aren't allowed to take video or pictures during the show so you will have to go check it out. See my pics of Maddy and me

The Smith Center is like no other venue in Las Vegas. It is a cultural epicenter for the arts. Most recently we saw A Beautiful Noise. Getting in and out can get busy closer to showtime. We typically arrive when the doors open and enjoy a cocktail before the show and make use of their lounge area, which makes parking a breeze. I don't think there is a bad seat in the house but I recommend binoculars if you're seated in the balcony in order to see facial expressions. The staff is friendly and accommodating. As of this review guest are allowed to bring an empty clear bottle for water. There are water fill stations inside. Drink prices are typical for the area with a double rum and coke going for $17. Parking is $6.

The Smith Center is the premier place to see a theater show in Las Vegas! The building is a beautiful Art Deco style with amazing architectural detail. The staff are polite and helpful. They generally have cash bars available to get drinks before the shows and at intermissions. We were fortunate to get tickets for Hamilton. The production was great. However, the staff we interacted with made this experience great!

After all of the years that I have lived in Vegas- I cannot believe that I have never been to the Smith Center until recently! A friend of mine gave me a ticket to see Hamilton last week, box seats at that! What an amazing venue! The Smith Center is conveniently located downtown, near the freeway, with a parking garage right across the street. Parking was only $6 for the entire duration of my stay. Drinks inside of the venue are very reasonably priced. The venue itself is beautiful! Now having been exposed to this venue, I will most definitely be returning for more shows!

Can anyone tell me the drink prices at Reynolds Theater at the Smith Center?

I'm taking my family to the Nutcracker here in December, I am wondering to people get dressed up for this show or is it more casual?

Here in Las Vegas, you will find all of the above. My wife and I enjoying being a bit more formal. We typically go to a happy hour prior or dinner afterward. Our culture is much more casual now than in the past. It is a beautiful and more cultured…

When should you arrive for a show?

If the show starts at 7pm the you should arrive 30mins before. Unless you are hungry, they have a lil bistro on the second floor, then you should arrive about 45mins to an hour to enjoy the food.

How do I find the virtual seating chart for Reynolds Hall? I used to be able to see the view of the stage from the seat selected. I cannot find on the SC website.

The chairs in the establishment are hilarious and just basic chairs with some designs on them. The venue itself quickly filled up and the show started. It was funny, sexy, raunchy, and jaw-dropping. Half of the show I kept looking at our friends making sure they were having a great time and, to no surprise, they were. The circus acts are unbelievable and the comedic relief dabbled in makes it even more of an experience. This is, by far, one of the best shows I've seen in Vegas! Highly recommend.

I've seen this show twice, once opening night and then again in October 2023. I was in the first row stage left the first time, and the second row dead center the second time. The first time my view was blocked by a woman with very curly, poofy hair. The second time my view was blocked by everyone seated at the cocktail tables. The Duomo is a horrible venue because the seats are neither staggered nor graduated like stadium seating. The stage isn't high enough above the seating to give everyone a good view. I've seen X Country at Harrah's, Fantasy at Luxor, and Red Velvet Burlesque at Notoriety downtown - all of them have different seating and stage configurations for this sort of show, but you can actually see the performers. This show needs a different venue. They have Julia Flypole doing arial hoop work but it's like a 7 or 8 foot ceiling from the stage to the top. She also performs in Red Velvet Burlesque and her routine is from a silk that is easily two stories long. It's just not the same effect doing acrobatics and arial pole in such a short room. The show is a mix of singing and burlesque dancing set to rock-esque type music. There is no nudity in this show. Everyone has pasties on in addition to bra tops, unlike other showgirl burlesque shows. While it's obviously 18+ because it's burlesque, nothing is too risque, except the bathtub dance is a bit over the top raunchy for my taste. The dancing is good. The costuming is good. The singer actually has a good voice. The only problem is the venue is garbage and not a good fit for this show. There is limited audience participation in this show. And there was SO much audience interaction -- our bride even caught a frisbee and got to go on stage -- which was fun and helped make it even more special for her. Such a fun Vegas night out!…read more I honestly didn't know exactly what to expect going into Atomic Saloon, but it ended up being such a fun experience. The whole place has this crazy Wild West saloon atmosphere that starts before the show even does, and the intimate setup makes you feel way more involved than you would at a typical Vegas show. The cast was SO entertaining. There was a really fun mix of comedy, dancing, acrobatics, and some seriously impressive stunts. The show is definitely raunchy and completely unfiltered, so this is not something I'd recommend if you're easily offended But if you can appreciate ridiculous humor and don't mind getting a little uncomfortable, you're going to have a good time. I also loved the audience interaction because it made the night feel spontaneous instead of like you were just sitting there watching a performance. You never really knew what was coming next! The venue itself is super cute and really adds to the experience. It feels more like stepping into a crazy little saloon than walking into a traditional theater. Definitely a fun option for a date night, girls' night, or anyone visiting Vegas who wants something a little different. Come for the acrobatics, stay for the absolute chaos Definitely worth experiencing at least once!

Came here on a Tuesday evening (7/14/26 show) after spontaneously getting tickets a few hours…read morebefore. We opted for the $70 tickets that were in the first level, back area towards the bar (there is a semi-obstructed view because of the lower ceiling, but I felt like it was worth the money saved because you really only miss like when the performers are high up in the air). It was also kind of an emptier show, so we got moved from the very back to the FRONT of the back area since the seats were empty. Which worked out for me because as an audience member I typically do not like being touched or interacted with by the performers. (pretty much a guarantee if you buy one of the seats in that inner circle area, you will 100% be touched, get bread thrown at you, or have to answer questions lol). Pros: - Very easy to get tickets the day of, but make sure you check various sites because they're randomly cheaper on some websites than others. - Honestly, a pretty entertaining variety show! It's different from Cirque shows because most of the acts are either pairs or individuals, and there's a LOT of variety. There's acrobatics, singing, dancing (tap, clog), some magic from the nuns, what I can only describe as breakdancing with a gigantic ring, comedy, etc. So it's not very repetitive and you see a lot of variation in skill and talent. Since you're also so close, you can literally see the performers flexing their abs and it's honestly a miraculous display of human skill and flexibility. Even though there's sexual innuendos and undertones, I honestly didn't feel that uncomfortable because the talent is very impressive. just packaged in a raunchy show haha. I had a good time and laughed a lot. - I could not stop laughing at the constant bread throwing. - Pretty decent drinks at the bar. I got a $12 matcha mocktail called the discos cowboy and it was actually DELICIOUS and so cute. - The entrance area was easy to find and all the staff we interacted with were pretty nice. - Very lively show and plot, again hats off to the acrobats and skill performers. Cons: - When you first go in and doors open, there's a "waiting" area with a bar that you have to wait in until the staff let you into the main seating area. This area was EXTREMELY stuffy and hot, with very little air circulation, and bodies packed pretty close to each other while waiting to get drinks at the bar or just waiting for the show. I really didn't like the 15 mins we waited in this area and would have just preferred to wait in the casino hallway outside the venue. - The comedy, while raunchy and entertaining, was a little too cheesy for me at times. Especially the jokes from the matriarch Irish lady who acts as the brothel owner - I felt like those jokes were very dad-ish and way too cheesy. - I personally really dislike crowd participation or being touched without warning so this part wasn't for me LOL. But I'm grateful we sat in the back. If you are super into this sort of thing, you will love it and you should sit in the front pew area or in the main circle area. Definitely don't bring your kids lol. I think I would be open to coming back and seeing a different variety of actors, since they say they change it up sometimes. Also the show is early enough in the evening (we went to the 9:30pm showing) where you could totally still go out to the club after. I don't regret this experience haha.

I have seen this show 8 times so far - every time I have guests, I take them to see it, and I enjoy…read moreit all over again as I have never seen it! It is truly a WOW! There is nothing in town that compares to it, when it comes to value and level of performance, it is an incredible production where the theatre is not too big, but the stage is semicircular with 3D background on large screen, and the projections are so well incorporated into acts, so it gives the impression that it is one large theatre. I love the closeness to the performers, everything happening right in front of your very eyes... It is so much fun for children and adults! Performers are so adorable, acts changing quickly, there is even water on the stage! What an incredible production of Titanic story; gives me chills every time I see it! This one show represents the good old Vegas variety show and brings some nostalgia ... Do not miss it!

Wow? Yes. Vegas? Naturally. Spectacular? Often enough…read more WOW - The Vegas Spectacular is a variety show that has been anchoring the Rio Showroom theater for almost a decade. I've been a Rio Rewards member recently, and their 2nd tier and above grant you free annual show tickets. I decided this year to try WOW. You probably wanna save the incentive until the day-of, printing it out from the kiosk then directly taking it to the box office. Then you can pick your seats. The tier of seating available to me was the same as the Pepto-Bismol colored section on the chart visible online when you try to make a purchase. These appear to have a retail value of $86.32 each w/ fees. You can get in pretty easily with your tickets, but you can't bring all that much stuff in. They do have a table where you can leave stuff and pick it up afterward though. They also seem to compensate for disallowing water bottles by setting up free cups of ice water at the bar inside the venue for anyone to take. The show is not Cirque-level, but it's got quite a few exciting acts dispersed over the 1.5-ish hours. And when they set up shop on the protruding circle of the stage, it feels really, really close to the seats. For specific highlights, Silvia Silvia, the crossbow-wielding grandma, does feel world-class. So do most if not all of the acrobats. The main character / "clown" does a solid enough job with interstitials and comic relief overall. Some of the comic stuff and juggling is not all that exciting, and the dancing feels a little tame and sometimes totally unnecessary (not even as a delaying tactic). It'd be nice if they could add a little more intensity in the middle third (before Silvia Silvia), as well as more examples of showing off words and graphics in the falling water. Production-wise, they could certainly make improvements. I'll excuse the old screens/videos, but they don't seem to have heard of surround sound. Instead, the speakers blast at you from one direction, mainly into my right ear from where I was sitting. If they improve the sound, and maybe fade some of the music instead of abruptly halting them before moving to the next track, the show would feel more polished and maybe only half a tier behind the big shows rather than a whole level. Overall, WOW is a good but not great show, better at least than tired old Blue Man Group and maybe some really random stuff at the cheapest Strip properties. You could probably do quite better if spending actual cash, but Rio Rewards regulars should have this show on their checklist.
