Came to watch Hell's Kitchen on a Saturday night. Loved the Smith Center, friendly staff and ushers, beautiful venue, a nice break from the casino and Vegas strip. The performers were top notch and I enjoyed the concession stand cookies and beverages during the intermission. Pros: Friendly staff, easy to ride-share to and from if you're staying on the strip. I am a ongoing customer. Ive always been a theatre kid and watched excitedly as the Smith Center was built in high school. Having gone many times I feel like it could have been built better and more comfortable for humans. I feel like the top balcony is way too cramped and steep. There seem to be cushions you can ask to add to your seat but why didn't they just choose good chairs when building. I feel like all the connecting chairs are too close together. Multiple times have me or my spouse had to battle it out with a man spreader or person taking too much space. The arm rests with the combined seats are tiny so only one person can use it. I think they should redo it and give people more space. If a movie theater can give me recliners I expect at least comfortable chairs. We do watch a lot of the broadway musicals. I like when there are fun seasonal drinks attached. We did season tickets one time with the cheapest balcony seats and just upgraded every time. I loved the early access and how easy it was to upgrade and change our seats. When it came time to renew our season passes we wanted to upgrade our seats but I cancelled it because we didn't get to specifically choose the seats we would upgrade to. I also don't like that the minimum is usually like 7 shows. I would rather 4-5. I usually am really excited about maybe 2 shows a season. Having the season pass made us see shows we didn't love and made me realize I do not in fact love all musicals. Things I appreciate are the $6 parking, the customer service of employees, and the lobby and balcony are pretty. I think the programs are too wide and big. I love Smith Center in general but think there can be improvements. read more

Came here for the first time to see the Notebook musical. My only regret was not getting orchestra seating i.I got box seats but you Could only see half the stage . Other than that, the venue is amazing.. . Acoustics were excellent and everything was well organized. Parking is across the street but they have shuttle service that picks up and drops off if you don't want to walk. Concession stands are available, but snack offerings are limited. The lobby area is spacious and the art deco is beautiful. Staff were professional and friendly. The atmosphere was friendly and inviting. Just saw "Hell's Kitchen" at Reynolds Hall (Amazing Alicia Keycute version of growing up in New York) Smith Center is the easiest and most enjoyable traditional performing art venue in Vegas: safe, fast e-ticket only check-in, affordable $6 event parking, convenient sandwiches and snacks on mezzanine level, easy access to all seats, fast entry and exit. I was able to experience the Las Vegas Philharmonic for the first time. The Smith Center is easy to get to and plenty of parking downtown in the garages right across the street. The building is beautiful inside and out. I had box seats. Great view. There is also a bar to purchase non-alcoholic drinks and cocktails. Highly recommend seeing a show or concert here. Another enjoyable evening at the Smith Center this time for our holiday tradition of seeing the Nutcracker. This year they returned to allowing you to take your hot cocoa to your seat which was wonderful and allowed you to savor it during the show. The show has been reworked this year. For one, they no longer have the video display which outlines each act of the story and tells you what to expect. For someone who didn't know the story this might make it harder to follow what was going on. They have new sets and costumes as well. Honestly the first half seemed worse than last year while the second half seemed better. Still it was overall an enjoyable night! read more

I absolutely love the Smith Center. It's gorgeous, the staff is friendly, and there's a lot of great seating options. I've sat everywhere from the balcony to just a few rows from the stage in the orchestra section. I can't recall all the shows I've seen but I remember My Fair Lady being the first one and Hamilton being the last. I also remember seeing Tootsie and Six the Musical a few times. The sound has been great every single time. Doors open about an hour before and you first go through security. I then recommend heading to merch if you want some merch and then finding a nice spot to hang out and relax while you wait for the show to start. I can't wait to come back. In just a few years my niece will be old enough to enjoy it as well. read more

Even though I've attended more shows and Broadway production's than I can count over the years at The Smith Center this was my first concert. My Hubs is a longtime Robin Trower fan. Decades of musical mastery, iconic albums and that unmistakable sound that has influenced countless players. A true guitar legend with cheap seat prices- 2 tickets please! Hearing him play live in such an intimate, high-quality setting was something special. All in all, The Smith Center delivered a fantastic concert experience that was smoke free with comfortable seating and sonically outstanding. I was shocked to see I've never written a review for one of my favorite places to be in the city! I have been coming to The Smith Center since my first show (The Book of Mormon) in 2014. First, this place is beautiful! There's a parking garage right across which is usually $6. The area has developed so much over the years, so there's a few businesses around. Second, the staff is always so kind. Whether it's the ticket checkers, security, ushers, or bar staff, we have never had a bad time. We have been to a number of shows over the years and have sat in many different areas. Typically we try to keep it to the lower level of the gallery, but lately we've been going for the dress circle. We just saw The Lion King in the 2nd row center of the dress circle and it was perfect! The view is great, you can still see everything going on, and it's not as pricey as the lower seats and not as high as the upper seats. I've also been here a number of times for the Disney in Schools program and to see the Las Vegas Philharmonic, so I've been in the lower sections for those. I was also lucky enough to get moved to the lower section for Six (squeal!!!). If I could swing it every time, I definitely would sit there. But I think the more tiered seating of the upper levels makes it better for view when there's people in front of you (I'm kinda short). I absolutely love The Smith Center. Their Broadway series programming is always on point, there's typically at least 1 show that I want to see each year. My husband and I have said that we will do the pass for multiple shows one year, just haven't had anything to entice me yet. Not only do they do the Broadway series, but they stage local theater as well. I've seen local shows here, live music, dance, educational presentations, etc. There's so much to offer here and I'm so happy they have been so successful! read more

I bought tickets for Spamalot in July, 2025 for March show through a third party vendor Ticketsale.com. A day before the show a had not received my tickets despite the acquisition link repetitively stating that the tickets have been delivered (when no delivery had ever happened). Between the vendor and the Smith Center, I spent over 2 hours trying to get my tickets to no avail with both parties calling me to offer alternative tickets at a lower price. It seems that these two parties are unable to manage ticket sales effectively and I would discourage people from doing business with them due to my horrible experience. read more

Good morning... I feel compelled to contact you concerning the show Mania: The ABBA experience that was performed last night at Reynolds Hall. The experience left me very disappointed on many levels, and I wanted to share them with your organization. I saw online the show was listed and purchased 2 tickets for my twin brothers and my 69th birthday as a surprise. Having grown up listening to ABBA as teenagers I thought it would be a great nostalgic trip down memory lane. We excitedly anticipated last night event, and with some advancing medical issues with me, made arrangements to be able to schedule my treatments so we could enjoy the show. We had never been to Smith Center before, and were pleased with the cleanliness, handicap access, parking and overall friendliness of the staff. One staff member gave us a brief history tour of the arts center, Myron's , and even encouraged us to get tickets for Saturday night's philharmonic concert. We settled into our seats and the concert began... From note one, it felt like karaoke at a local bar. No stage design or costumes, or even choreography was evident. The 2 female singers sang very little harmonies, which ABBA was known for, and the two men on stage looked uninterested . The sound was so loud, you couldn't hear the men's parts in most of the songs (especially in "take a chance"). The excitement and anticipation of a great shared evening quickly disappeared and we both left at intermission. I guess I expected a higher quality performance and the price paid for tickets (51.00 each) also indicated the same. On the way out, we encountered 2 very well dressed women in the elevator, who echoed our observations and were also leaving early. I wonder how many others did the same. We will be back to the Smith Center for other concerts in the future, but this just a sour taste in our mouths. I thought you should know and make adjustments accordingly. Saturday night went to see the NEW Nutcracker. Seeing the Nutcracker has become a family tradition. The Smiths Center is so beautiful & just a special place. The ballet now has a live orchestra, new costumes and lighting. I mean it has really been upgraded. I love the old one but this one you have to see!! The Smith Center is like no other venue in Las Vegas. It is a cultural epicenter for the arts. Most recently we saw A Beautiful Noise. Getting in and out can get busy closer to showtime. We typically arrive when the doors open and enjoy a cocktail before the show and make use of their lounge area, which makes parking a breeze. I don't think there is a bad seat in the house but I recommend binoculars if you're seated in the balcony in order to see facial expressions. The staff is friendly and accommodating. As of this review guest are allowed to bring an empty clear bottle for water. There are water fill stations inside. Drink prices are typical for the area with a double rum and coke going for $17. I have been here a few times to see the Nevada Ballet. I have sat I. The mezzanine level and down in the orchestra level. This occasion we had dress circle right seats 4 rows back from the front. We had a good view of the stage with little on the right side of the stage that we could not see, but since mostly support cast was in that location we were ok with the view. Smith center has become a cashless venue so being cash if you want to tip, but not necessary because you can add tip to the card reader. Prices for drinks were not too bad. We don't drink alcohol so we had 2 Shirley Temples for a total of $12.00. I love the Broadway series the Smith Center brings in. read more

My friend invited me to a live speaker show here and gave me a tour of the venue. I definitely enjoyed the tour and the show. It was National Geographic "Wild Cats Revealed" and I learned many things I didn't know about. The showroom itself was impressive with stadium like seatings. The chandeliers were beautiful. The elevators were clean and modern. Seats were plenty and comfy. The only drawback is that we have to park in the garage and pay for parking and there's no food allow in showroom I look forward to coming back here for other shows read more

Really the only option to catch a proper theatre show in Vegas. We have been about a dozen times. Staff is always very welcoming and helpful. Beautiful venue. I would suggest not wasting your money for the nosebleed seats as the acoustics are horrible in this place sitting up there and you're so high, the offer you a cushion to sit on in Reynolds's hall. We always opt for either the dress circle or box tier seats. The Parterre section is a pretty rough view if someone tall is sitting in front of you, I'd skip that option all together. I do enjoy that people still dress up for the theatre here. If you're not dressed business casual at the least you will stick out a little. Recommend paying for parking in advance so you can park close. Drink prices are what you'd expect, not a bargain, but not a rip off. read more

On 11-20-2025, my wife and I attended the 7:30 p.m. show of the Lion King at the Smiths Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. This was our first time at a real Broadway show and we thought it was awesome. All the performers were right on mark and totally awesome, it also followed the Lion King movie pretty much to the tee. We watched the Lion King on VHS movie in 1994 endless times (we wore it out), being that our young daughter, just loved it. We were seated in the center row of the dress circle section, pretty good seats. Again, BRAVO to ALL the performers, they did a great job and it made our first Broadway show an excellent experience. Eric Darius is one of the most talented, exciting, entertaining and skillful saxophonist I've ever seen. His stage presence coupled with his ability to connect with the crowd was phenomenal. Throughout the night's performance, he worked the entire room as he walked while playing and entertaining everyone. He manipulated the saxophone masterfully as he mesmerized the crowd with jazz, R&B and soulful tunes. The venue was beautiful. It was a nice size offering guests a real intimate experience. Servers ensured all guests drink orders were fulfilled and did so, Without obstructing anyone's view. The concert started promptly at 8pm and ended 90 minutes later (as promised). What a gorgeous Art Deco building. I'm always in awe when we stop by TSC for a show. It feels clean, well maintained, and well managed. The employees are always very helpful and kind. I particularly like that there is adequate warning to find your seats in time (flickering lights, 5 min bell) So far we've seen Mrs. Doubtfire the musical, Shrek the musical, and Neil Degrasse Tyson speak. All were phenomenal. There's pretty much no bad view in the house. Restrooms are typically clean, albeit you may have to wait in a bit of a line during intermission. The refreshments stand is also a nice addition for those who forgot to bring a snack or some water. Parking is also relatively easy and affordable at $6.00 in the surrounding garages if you get there ahead of your scheduled show. I believe our valet parking was only $20 when we were running late. It's a short walk from the garages to TSC, which is another big positive, especially for those with kids or mobility issues. read more

I went to the Smith Center to see Boney James on Saturday night. I parked at the Promenade garage across the street for a reasonable 6.00 (I was happy they weren't trying to price gouge) and made the short walk to the Smith Center. The Smith Center is a beautiful venue but confusing to navigate. However, the staff was helpful and friendly in directing me to my seat. I didn't take any photos, but the inside of the Smith Center, with its upscale setup, provided many excellent photo opportunities. Boney James performed an hour and 45-minute set, and I enjoyed the show. I would return to the Smith Center again, and I highly recommend it! read more

I LOVE seeing shows here! From Myron's to Reynolds Hall it's an excellent facility. I'll focus this review on Reynolds Hall. I absolutely love the art deco design of the building. Everything about it is top notch. I've seen a number of Broadway shows, ballet's and concerts here. I've sat in all sections. My personal favorite for seating is the front orchestra, followed by the parterre and then the box seats. The sound is great and it's just a cool place to see a show. I've seen shows in other cities as well and the Smith Center is still my favorite. Staff is always helpful and friendly and it just really makes you feel like it's a special night out being there. read more

I love being able to support this theater with their different shows through the year. My only gripe is I wish they took cash at the bar but I can understand why they don't. We selected seats A215 and A216 in the gallery. The online map says the seats were obstructed but they weren't at all. There was a small handrail that didn't bother us.
