We decided to do a pickup order here on the way home from somewhere in the area. We are pescatarian but primarily vegan and we're always looking for these type of options, a non-vegetarian neighbor recommended this place to us he said he's hooked even though he eats meat. No complaints! We ordered a variety as we're wanting to try a lot of it. I'm a sucker for curry so went with that, my wife loves lo mein, we got that, tried some rice, wings, and some other things. All of it was delicious and very well put together. Not greasy at all, all the right textures, and plenty of food for the price. I've been here twice now- the beyond meat soup dumplings are delicious as a starter! Everything is vegan and the faux meats and seafood are made with soy or konjac. The sheer fact of being able to eat literally everything on the menu was actually a bit overwhelming! It's very bright and airy and I have gone in weekdays and it has mostly been empty - hopefully they get a brisker business because the food tastes great! I got an iced ginger tea that was really refreshing! Their week day lunch deals are pretty clutch: buy one get one 50% off lunch meals and buy one get one free drinks! I have tried the Mongolian beef and the seaweed tofu soup. I also tried the General Tso's chicken (with spring roll- delicious- rice and miso soup). Each dish was packed with flavor and had such satisfying textures, it was hard to believe it was all plant-based! Location in an eat stay play community allowed for the ability to walk within vicinity and enjoy the communal atmosphere including a decent outdoor play area for children. Parking was easily attainable. VeGreen is brightly colored with cute decor throughout. Seating was sufficient, especially during 7 pm meet up with my cousin who recently moved to the area. As an ethical vegan (no meat products served), she recommended VeGreen and advised that it was her go to place. Meal portions were ample to allow for sharing and take home! Price point also reasonable. I opted for the dish rainbow roll to experience the comparison of vegan substitutions for the salmon, tuna and eel listed as main content. It was disappointing to not be able to get brown rice in my sushi as it was available as a side order. Unfortunately I experience this at traditional sushi restaurants too. Despite that, the role was tasty and I was able to get gluten free soy sauce that paired well and was less salty than traditional placed on table. Sushi was 20% off which made the already reasonable price point even better. My cousin ordered the vegan beef stirfry. It was extremely tasty and a large portion as previously mentioned. She also ordered the California roll, which appeared to have kale included and also tasted good. We ordered the raspberry tea as part of a buy, one get one promotion that was also being offered. It was a combination of raspberry tea and seltzer, which was quite soothing to my stomach! Must not overlook the great service from Yanni, who was attentive and answered all my vegan inquiries :-) Also despite the restaurant closing at 8 PM, we were not rushed to finish eating and I do appreciate level of courtesy. I really like trying new things, but I managed to talk myself into going back to VeGreen because it was so good the first time I went. But then I logged into their website and found they're in expansion mode, and this is one of two (as of this writing) satellite locations. So I took the opportunity to try a new place while still rewarding the existing enterprise. The parking was a bit crowded in this busy area. Despite the name emphasizing noodles, I found myself tempted by a tofu sizzler kind of dish, the sort of thing that isn't usually vegetarian. It sizzled splendidly, and this was soft tofu with a hard fried exterior and a complex spicy and savory topping. It made for satisfying eating. I wish I had room for more. The vibe of this place is upbeat and bright; it's clearly vegan but it's not a place that shames you for being not vegan (which even here, I imagine the average customer is not), nor is it one of those weird cult-y kind of places. Another person there was asking when this place would expand to Miami, but they're still family-owned and local apparently, which is good for them. We were so grateful that Vegreen opened a location in Buford, Because there is a very large plant based and plant curious community out here. The quality of this restaurant, which started in Duluth is unmatched. You get great portions of food at great prices. if you're into sushi, they have several options and my personal favorite is the Oceania roll which is a massive plate of sushi that two people can and should share. Their entrée portions are solid. My favorite is a general Tso's vegan chicken entree. My wife and daughter love to get the sweet and sour vegan chicken or the plant-based calamari which has a salt and pepper seasoning to it and the texture is very close to seafood calamari. So you are 100% vegan or just enjoy plantbased food this place never disappoints. read more

Stayed at a nearby hotel for a business trip and found this place on yelp. I figured this healthy alternative would equal out the Zaxbys fried chicken i had for lunch. Yelps map was confusing because it placed this on the corner but it's further down. Anyway, once I found it I went in and the service and ambience was great. The food came out quick and it was delicious. They were doing a drink special and so they gave me a drink to go for free. I would definitely come back when I'm back in Buford. read more

Have eaten here a couple of times and while I felt the food was good I have to say. It may be vegan, but it's not diabetic friendly at all. It has jacked my glucose significantly. This last time I only ordered a soup that has noodles and an order of spring rolls to see if that would help since it happened , t didn't. I've tried asking for different options but was told that nothing could really be adjusted. It's a shame because I don't feel like I can eat there any longer because of this. I am so excited to have a vegan Asian fusion place so close to my house!!! I've been a devout customer at VeGreen in Duluth, but this is such a surprise, I love it!! I've also been on the hunt for vegan/vegetarian soup dumplings for years in the OTP area, but finally, we have them here!!! All the food is delicious, but I will say a bit too salty/saucey on some things. We got the mini soup dumplings, salmon onigiri, beef stir-fried udon, spicy tuna roll, and shrimp tempura roll. Everything was really good, but my favs were the spicy tuna roll and mini soup dumplings!! I will definitely be a regular here, it's kind of dangerous how close it is to my house haha. My mom and I went to this place because we were craving some asian food - I have a dairy allergy and I wanted to go some place I knew for sure would have any dairy products and I found this place. When we got there we were seated right away! We noticed you could also ask for take out but we decided to dine in. When we got seated the server was nice, and patient with us. The inside is cute, clean and had a relaxing energy to it. We ordered the veggie dumplings which were super good! We got then pan fried dumplings - They were crispy and delicious. I ordered the Spicy Szechuan ramen, it wasn't spicy ( to me at least) The portion size is pretty big and fills you up. The broth had a nice taste and the noodles then selves had good flavor and were soft! The tofu and chicken were good as well. Overall the ramen was super good! My mom ordered the stir fried ramen. The taste was amazing!! The sauce was thick and the noodles held good flavor. There was some chicken, and vegetables added in as well which gave the noodles a nice touch. We also ordered dessert and got hummingbird cake - we took it home since we were stuffed and ate it a few hours later - the cake wasn't too sweet which is how I like it, it was crumbly but still very moist and the frosting was delicious- it was creamy and soft and again not too sweet!
