Kind off nit finished but a mish mosh of furniture and very tacky but I'm not here to have a 7 course meal. They don't serve alcohol more of a lunch or late night drinking after. Order 3 different dumplings 1) the pork dumplings in chili sauce 2) the chive and pork dumplings 3) the chicken soup dumplings All were really good but my favorite was number 1. A must order as an app or with others. The second is very porky tasting. Loved the homemade chive dough. Will be back to try more dumplings and the tofu stew looked amazing. Saw this place open up around Mall of GA from afar. I knew it was a mistake when pulling up the front door. Looking in, I couldn't tell if it was open or closed at 7PM, but fortunately/unfortunately, it was open for business, so we went in and risked it for the biscuit. Pretty sure the soup dumpling were store-bought and re-heated + the pork had a flavor of old meat. Somehow, the pork/crab soup dumpling didn't even have crab and yet tasted more pork-intense than the regular pork one in a bad way. The Pork/Chives pan fried dumpling was better since it was actually hand-made, but still had the old-meat tastes Also, $80 for 2 people in a cafeteria setting + a server who threw plates on the table and walked away immediately is a strange experience. 1/10 for the food, 0/10 for the service. The food was good, but it takes a long while to get things. Appetizer was the absolute last thing to come out which was frustrating. They have you order via a QR code that doesn't really work all that well and then they want you to order everything at once instead of like most of these types of places where you can order as you go (ex: dim sum, kbbq, sushi, etc.). We like to order as we go so we don't overwhelm ourselves with too much food at once or waste food. The pros and cons: the scallion pancake is amazing. Super thin and crispy and light. I had the pork and cabbage dumplings (pan fried) and my fiancé had the beef pan fried and beef bao. The dumplings were hot and tasty (the first round anyway), but when we finally got our second round, they were just warm. Cons, the food coming out is pretty slow and they rush you to order everything at once. The server said they were super busy but it didn't seem like there were many people in the dining room, but maybe they were just short handed. Our friends we dined with had been twice before and said this was inconsistent with the last two times they'd been there and that the wonton soup was different this time as well. We had to ask for one item in our order to be canceled because it was completely forgotten. My fiancé also ended up with an upset stomach after but the beef dumplings did seem a little oily to me. First I will say I love dumplings so when I saw this place I had to try it. Plus I read the reviews and everyone raved about it. So I'm going to do the same.. lol. The food was on point. Nice and fresh and came out pipping hot!! I ordered the Szechuan chicken extra spicy and they did not disappoint. This is the first time I ordered extra spice and was like yes. My only comment on this is it needs to come with more rice, but there was plenty of chicken. The dumplings were nice the soup ones were too hot to eat at first. Learn from my mistake make sure you move all the dumplings on the paper or they will stick. The only negative I have was the service. The service was not the best that day or I just didn't have the right person. My server didn't speak much English and could not really recommend anything. Also never checked up on me. (and it's going to be jam packed. ) However, this was the best Asian dumpling house find in years !! if you have not been to this place you need to go there it is absolutely awesome. I would put this up against Din Tai Fung any day (the national chain. ) The service was super fast, super friendly, and the ambience in there was great with a great vibe, very attentive, managers, and service all around and now for the food....... I was quite shocked at the quality of the dumplings here, especially the authentic flavors of the crab & pork xiaolongbao and the pork shengjianbao. Not too oily or overseasoned. Their stir fried noodles had the perfect texture and are loaded with beef. The house chili oil is delicious. However, I feel that the wontons with chili oil needed more garlic flavor. They are in soft opening, so I'm giving them some slack. Brand new, modern spot with beautiful natural lighting. Attentive service and robot food delivery. Dumpling Master... All this hype and it didn't really deliver. First off, it's self-serve you grab your own silverware, water, and napkins, which gave me cafeteria vibes. The soup dumplings? Dry. Like... where did the soup even go?? Chow fun? Also dry. Fried rice was fine, but the real MVP was the wonton noodle soup that one actually hit the spot. The food can out pretty quickly and the portion of the food was big (fried rice and noodle dishes). The soup dumplings were pretty delicious also. From the moment we walked in, the experience was frustrating. Half the tables were dirty, and the staff seemed more interested in arguing with each other than helping customers. We ordered appetizers first and specifically asked for them to come out before our entrees. No one mentioned any wait time. About 10 minutes later, another server came over asking if we were ready to order, and we had to explain that we had already ordered dumplings and were still waiting. His response of "oh yeah" made it clear that they had forgotten our order. Our entree then came out before the appetizers, while multiple tables that arrived after us had already received their food. After waiting over 15 minutes, we asked to pay and leave. They offered to remove the dumplings from our check but still brought them out anyway. When we questioned it, the server argued that we would have to wait for any food anywhere we go anyways and that the dumplings take longer to cook -- something that should have been communicated when we ordered. We took the food to go, and unfortunately it was just as disappointing. The beef chow fun was rubbery, and the dumplings were flavorless and rubbery as well. The issue wasn't just the wait -- it was the lack of communication, poor service, and how the situation was handled. A very disappointing experience. Save your money and go elsewhere. read more

Went in on New Year's Day. I ordered a mango smoothie and mango popping boba with shen jian bao. It was delicious! It was warm, flavorful, a bit crunchy from the pan fry but soft and chewy. So juicy you have to be careful it doesnt shoot out. Brought my son back in the evening same day with 4 friends and EVERYONE loved every flavor boba ordered (mango, & strawberry). Ordered chicken fried rice and an assortment of dumplings including edamame that was gone in seconds. Waiter recommended the cucumber salad appetizer and it was a hit. Try it! You will love it. Food was reasonably priced. It was very clean inside and all servers were extremely friendly. We will definitely be back and are looking forward to the Cumming, GA location opening soon. read more

The seating is a bit limited, but we easily grabbed a table on a Saturday night! You order through a website using the QR code at the table and a robot brings your food out to you. We ordered beef noodle soup, chow fun, shrimp shumai and hot and sour soup. The noodle dishes were especially tasty, with the beef noodle soup being very rich in flavor and spices! The shumai were plump but not as flavorful. I think I may have to get a different type of dumpling next time. Ate here twice so far since I enjoyed it the first time. Quaint little place but not too small with a good balance of tables and booths. They initially bring out water but you'll have to ask for ice. I think it's an Asian thing about not caring for ice in their drinks. The hot and sour soup is good but it's a bit more sour compared to pretty much any type soup I've had at other restaurants. Also they give a good size bowl where most Chinese places give what I consider small portions. The spring rolls are good and both times I've had them I noticed that they didn't seem to be overly greasy which is nice. I had veggie dumplings the first time and mapo tufu this most recent time. Again both were good and might try the soup dumplings next time. The location is next to Honey Baked Ham in the center with Best Buy, Target, and Staples. We ordered wonton soup, beef chow fun, crab meat soup dumpling, pork & Shrimp Siu Mai, and pork Shen Jian Bao to try if it was worth coming back, and it was a major fail! The beef chow fun was plain, but tolerable but when they brought out the pork shen jian bao? I should have known it looked funny because when I picked it up with my chopsticks it was softer than usual and after I ate it because I was so hungry from fasting all day, I felt weird. Have eaten here several times. I like their spring rolls, they're on the mini side but you do get four. The steamed dumplings are good but they come in a metal pot with a paper liner and the dumplings stick to it which is kind of a hassle. I tried the pan fried ones this time and they came on a straight up plate so they were easier. Still a bit doughy compared to pan fried ones I've had in the past but were still good. The only reason I took one star away is because I like their hot n sour soup but a couple of times it's come out not very hot so I'll start trying to remember to make a point to ask that the cooks make sure to make it hotter. It does come in a good sized bowl, not dole little cup that most Chinese places serve. And it can be kind of slow going especially if there are a couple of other tables. I've tried their mapo tofu also before and it was good. Not a fancy place but that's ok. They automatically bring out water but with no ice, so ask for some. I know there are cultures that don't drink their drinks cold but in America we tend to. Definitely worth a try if you like dumplings along with a few other options. read more

The szchewan chicken was the oddest of all...spicy yet felt cool on the pallet. If there is anything to order the pan fried dumplings weren't terrible.
