The chemical peel was temporarily uncomfortable, but it was absolutely worth it. I've already been getting compliments on how great my skin looks! The recovery took about three days. During that time, it was important to stay out of the sun and keep my skin well-moisturized with Aquaphor. As I applied the Aquaphor, my skin gradually began to peel, the peeling was happening a lot faster on day 3. If you're considering a chemical peel, I recommend planning your schedule around the recovery period and following the aftercare instructions closely, since your skin will be very delicate.
