The shows are first-rate, whether locally produced or visiting artists, whether for adults or youngsters, and we plead prejudice since we've appeared on stage in a few of them. That aside, the staff here couldn't be friendlier and more helpful, the newly renovated interior is clean and lovely and the seating mostly comfortable (the leg room can get to be an issue without an intermission, however) and they have some nice snacks and drinks for patrons.

The theater is beautiful, with crystal chandeliers and gold detailing. On this day, I went to the Palace Theatre to graduate with my second college degree in Early Childhood Education. The graduation was beautiful as it was in this stunning building. I would definitely come back to see a show.

The stage access and seating area are improved, and added to all of the good things going with it -- things like excellent management, fun productions and serious community involvement -- Landmark is truly a landmark in this area. We're delighted to have an association with it -- we've appeared in a few productions -- so maybe we are a tad prejudiced, but we firmly believe this is a really strong operation that does Thomaston and surrounding communities proud. As soon as I purchased them I received an email saying your tickets will follow in another email. I waited about 24 hours and called them and asked where my tickets were. I had not gotten an email to down load my tickets. They put me on hold for a long time came back and said you will receive your tickets 48 hours before the show. I fly to Las Vegas I give my son the email for his birthday on Wednesday his birthday and tell him I will get the tickets Thursday the show is Saturday night. I call Friday morning and ask where my tickets are they assure me I will get them later in the day. Then I get a call in the late afternoon and they tell mr they do not have my tickets and I will not be getting the tickets. I am beside myself and ask for a supervisor. The supervisor tells me the same thing but we will give you a discount if you want regular seat instead of the VIP seats, I told her it was my sons birthday and I had already told him I bought VIP tickets for him. If you do not have my tickets you should offer me better tickets not worse seats. She was like to bad you are not getting the tickets you purchased. I could have purchased tickets at Stub Hub or a great place to sit or Vegas.com or Las Vegas.com or 100 other places and actually received the tickets I purchased and not ruined my sons birthday. DO NOT BUY TICKETS FROM THIS WEBSITE!!! You take a big chance you will not get your tickets!!

I contacted EasySeat immediately after receiving my tickets and 3 months before the event. Any decent business would have been willing to work with an unhappy consumer. EasySeat would have been money ahead to either cancel the transaction, upgrade, etc. I read reviews before purchasing on-line, if there are negative comments, it makes me think twice about purchasing from that merchant. I warn purchasers to be extremely careful when dealing with EasySeat. They could care less about the consumer. They take the money and run. They are not a reputable broker. Buyer beware!

Phoenix is a small, delightfully welcoming community theater operation. The interior is small, seating about 70 people surrounding the stage on three sides. The seats are raked, so views are good just about everywhere. The staff couldn't be friendlier, and they offer boxes of popcorn free to playgoers. Drinks and candies are inexpensive, so you won't spend much money on extras. There are lots of good, enterprising theater companies in northwest Connecticut, and Phoenix is certainly among them.

I Went today to see the Gift of Peace this afternoon. A lovely Christmas play that I totally…read moreenjoyed in an intimate and comfortable setting. The actors were of all ages and whether pre-teen, much older or in between, they were all quite captivating and very believable. I will most definitely be visiting and enjoying more of their productions. The staff are very nice and welcoming to all that attended. It was a privilege to watch their interactions with the children, as well as with the adults.

Just saw their production of A Christmas Carol, and it was fantastic! Intimate setting (in a former…read morejewelry store!) and enthusiastic performances all around. Nice mix of professional actors and local kids. The artistic director, Emily Mattina, came around and greeted and chatted with the audience, a lovely personal touch. They have a caring, dedicated, & talented staff who not only educate the young dancers in their chosen dance form, but also instill the passion and love for the art in their hearts. We have not only found a wonderful dance studio in The Dance Expierence, but also an extended family full of adults who nurture and fellow students who support one another in all they do. They are mindful of working parents schedules, thus their class times are working parent friendly. Their tuition rate is very reasonable, and they keep you well informed with regular updates in the lobby and special parent watch weeks and bring a buddy weeks.
