I received a lovely large rose bouquet for my Birthday. On day 2, one rose was limp. By day 5, over half were limp so I took photos & went to the shop. The lady told me it was because they didn't get fresh water daily & I should have been cutting the stems at an angle!! She gave me several fresh roses to replace the roses that were dying.....I had to rearrange the entire bouquet and cut all stems including the greenery. They lasted 4 more days. Very happy with Venetian Flowers. I love that I can order the day before and they will deliver next day no problem. (Not sure if they do same day, but they might?) I've ordered flowers from them twice for my Grandma who lives in Venice and the flowers are always really beautiful and fresh. They also send a delivery notification email with a photo of the actual bouquet they sent which is so nice to see & is really appreciated. I never post but feel I must! After the expensive Orchid I sent my Sister started dying and wilting within days after she received it - I emailed, called and texted the store and finally received a response to my text. We agreed she would bring the plant back and they would give her a new one. When she arrived, she was accused by the staff of bringing in a plant that was not theirs, then accused of being the reason the plant was wilting and told to leave the store. They told her we don't have time to make you a new plant and that we don't need your business. They were RUDE and OBNOXIOUS - I will never use them again! Find a better florist in the area!! We stopped in at Venetian Flowers in Venice on May 4, 2022. We had hoped to talk to a person about ordering flowers for our birthday celebration. We were met by a woman who was most unhelpful because this Sunday is Mother's Day. I mentioned we were interested in 2 arrangements with lilies and roses. She told us she could not say if she would have these flowers available on June 1. (Yet they claim to plan flowers for weddings??) She told us to look on their website - but she then told us the website was taken down. Picked what I wanted and was on the phone with a woman ready to take my order, but she needed to call me back. I was really hoping for a good experience, but now on top of worrying about my grandmothers health, I feel terrible because I don't have flowers for delivery. The very helpful associate suggested to deliver the flowers one day later to ensure the freshest flowers in my grandmother's bouquet. Grandma loved them! She's a sap for beautiful floral arrangements. Venetian Flowers sends you a picture of the floral arrangement prior to delivery--a very nice touch to differentiate themselves from their competitors. There is a mildly expensive delivery charge of $12, but well worth it in my opinion. read more

Beware if you are ordering from out of state! I wanted to have a large potted or hanging orchid delivered for Mother's Day. I was told they had an extremely large one that was about 5' tall for $175 or a hanging one that was a smaller for $90. I was told it was gorgeous and had several purple flowers. With delivery it would be $110. The plant that was delivered was in a tiny pot with a bent hanger and had 4 or 5 blooms. I was told they would not adjust the cost but would give me a refund if they went back to the house and took back the plant. What florist would ever do something like that??? I hadn't said anything to the recipient about how much we had spent but was mortified when I saw the photo of what they received. This plant looks like a $10 plant from the supermarket. I was trying to be reasonable and thought a mistake had been made but this was exactly what they delivered! Response to owner's comment: I did not choose this orchid. I trusted your description as it being large with many purple blooms. You never offered to replace the orchid with another one! I was told you would only replace it with a floral arrangement. As far as the amount of a discount it was never discussed! I never spoke to you and you never returned my calls. I only spoke to a man who said he was just taking the orders.
