I came here due to a yelp recommendation because like most westerners unaccustomed to the Spanish way of living I was hungry at about 7 pm and needed something to eat. Yay yelp to the rescue. The place was crowded and there were no seats available when I arrived. There were many small groups congregated around tables and a few couples as well. It isn't obvious how to proceed once you come in the door so I probably stood there awkwardly for a few minutes near the door before making my way to the bar to what looked to be a vacant seat. A gentleman informed me that it belonged to his girlfriend so I was forced to now stand awkwardly next to the bar. Bar tender to the rescue explaining that if I waited he was pretty sure someone would leave soon and I could order a drink while I waited. I ordered a sangria and also inquired about food but was told that I need to have an actual seat in order to order food. After nursing my drink for about 20 mins when I was about to pay and head out to find somewhere else to eat, a spot finally opened up and I was treated to the most delicious steak and potatoes and zucchini tapas. This had to be one of the most delicious things I have eaten on this vacation. When I finally vacated my seat to save a pair of new arrivals, there was a line outside of people waiting for the opportunity to eat here. I might chance it again before I leave Seville. I highly recommend for the food and friendly waiters but wish there was a way to turn seats over more quickly. One guy kept insisting he was saving his girlfriend's seat but in the 90 mins I spent there she never showed up. Who knows if she ever existed. Bread comes free with your tapas order and really complimented the meal.

Nothing also beats sitting under the stars right by La Giralda all lit up. We thought for sure we wouldn't get accustomed to eating dinner around 9pm, but there we were eating late like everyone else. What a fantastic dining memory for us. It isn't every day that you can say that you had a meal with a view of La Giralda!

My fave was the traditional Valencian but the seafood and the black rice were both nothing less than amazing. The prices are good-- there's only one size for eat-in orders (there are multiple sizes for take-out including family-sized all the way down to tapas size). For an eat-in dish it's about 8.5 euros and it's a lot of food. Note that they're only open from noon to four so swing by for lunch on a day you skipped breakfast. You won't be disappointed.
