However, the…read moregym has becoming increasingly crowded and members use the walking areas to spread out equipment so it becomes very difficult to move about the gym easily. The two small mat areas for stretching are crowded and often times unavailable. I often see coaches chit chatting on the mats and taking up space that could be used for workouts. The movable equipment like the boxes often are filled with personal item like phone and headsets so it's not easy to just grab what you need easily. Several times over the past few months the gym has had no hot water and/or no steam. I utilize the gym before work so this is a major issue. In fact as a write this just received a notification of no hot water. ‍ The sign up part was awesome, with Equinox providing guests passes, gift receipts for the store etc....ending the membership, however, has been painful. I started the process a week ago and my email wasn't on file despite providing all of my info thru the signup process. When I attempted to end my membership thru the email provided it had expired only two days later. Calling back, had to provide my email again. Went thru the cancellation process only to encounter an "error" at the end. Attempted several additional times with same result. Called the club and was informed a "report" had to be made and sent to the general manager for approval. What? My husband is now encountering the same shenanigans. No email on file, no address blah blah. The Equinox front desk manager was rude and condescending saying "I'm sorry mame" over and over. Extremely disingenuous attitude and tone as if just to get me off the phone and not genuinely sorry. Overall an awful experience. Beware, this is a hotel California membership.

Been coming for some of the clinics when we can, they are usually held on the weekend check out their Instagram or Facebook for more information. We have sign up my son for the boys volleyball club many parents and even coaches have expressed that this is the better club and has more to offer for these youngsters in the Antelope Valley. They are very expensive, and they only seem to focus on helping certain players-- which makes me feel like we are getting ripped off. And, on top of that, you have to pay to get into the games, pay for parking, in addition to the $2,400/child to play, only to see your child benched for all or most of the games.  Many kids that are benched play better in some cases than the kids that play.  Even when the team loses every game in a tournament, your child still may not play, which adds to my frustration with their service levels.  With the travel, expenses, and fees, you may end up spending over $5,000 with your child having a combined total of 1 hour of playtime in games for the entire season. Not only is this a bad investment, but it is a horrible decision that may subject your child to a hostle environment that could have long-term effects. Last, some people complained about the treatment of their child, which I did not witness.  Mark tried to brush it off with a war story example but made me feel even more concerned. My recommendation is to avoid Aero and find a club for which there are several options.  I found they only care about getting you into a contract and getting your money, and thereafter, treat you and your child unprofessionally.

You can register for any of their…read moreofferings at https://www.agapetennisacademy.com/ In addition to private lessons and league play scheduled throughout the week, AGAPE offers a three house Drill and Play session on Fridays from 9 am to Noon, for only $20. Such a deal! It's three hours of pickleball for the price of two. The three hour session starts with the Coach Meredith demonstrating a particular skill or strategy. Then the Coach circulates and monitors the students practicing the skill, giving direction where necessary. The second half of the session is leveled play. Usually there are 16-24 players. Coach Meredith sets up the games so you are usually playing against players at your level. The Coach is stationed on the teaching court. The games are timed. After ten minutes, the foursome you are playing with rotates to the next court. (You continue playing with the same players, but you mix up the teams). Eventually all the players play on the teaching court and have the benefit of Coach Meredith's feedback. Three hours of pickleball is too much for some people. Accordingly, you can leave any time you want. It's not rare for people leave at the two hour mark. Not me though. LOL. Ima be there for the whole thing. I've done the three hour Drill and Play four or five times now. It's made a huge difference in my play. I get more hits on Fridays than I do all the rest of the week combined. All those extra hits have allowed me to finally make a little progress. In addition to the Drill and Play, I've taken a few private lessons with Coach Meredith. She's really a great coach! Highly recommended!!! Mikey C says: see you on Friday!

While he practiced or competed, I would walk the area to pass time. I had not been back for a good while. Today was a perfectly cool and partial cloudy day. The husband and I decided to pack up our lunch to have it outdoors. We read about some of the improvements that have been made at the SC Sports Complex, so we thought it would be nice to have our lunch there and explore. It wasn't busy at all when we arrived, which was such a stark change from when I used to drive here with my son. Parking was very easy. The park is clean and very well maintained. The familiar spots are unchanged --- Dog Park, Aquatic Center and Gymnasium. The new/updated sections were thoughtfully constructed and designed -- Bike Park, Basketball Courts and shaded picnic areas. We noticed a volleyball court by the dog park which we don't remember seeing before, but it also didn't look new. We were super excited to see that The Rink is being built. We'll definitely be back to see that when it's done. There aren't any clear walking paths -- we just kept wandering around to explore, sometimes having to backtrack to get to another area. It was an enjoyable time nonetheless, especially when it came time to have our lunch while admiring the lovely views of SCV.

I've been a member for about 3 months and it's been such an incredible experience so far. Sivan was super helpful and helped me sign up. Her and along with everyone else I've encountered with have been nothing but wonderful. I did my assessment and complimentary personal training session with Jenn. She has such an extensive knowledge about wellness especially when it comes to women's health. She gave me some pointers about rebuilding my pelvic floor strength and put together a plan for me. I've also attended a few mat pilates and spin classes, which were great. Last month, I had a facial in their spa which was relaxing and exactly what I needed after not having a facial for almost a year. On a few occasions, I've brought my son with me and had him stay in the Kids Club. Emme and the others are so sweet and welcoming. Overall my experience at Equinox Woodland Hills has been really wonderful - from the welcoming staff, clean facility, variety of classes, to the positive vibes. Now as a working mom, I don't have as much time to go as often but I'm hoping to keep up with my work out routine.

Elena who works at the Shop Woodland Hills in CA location deserves the highest recognition for her exceptional professionalism, dedication, and customer service. I am traveling to Europe and urgently needed a specific crossbody bag before my departure. Although the Woodland Hills location did not have the item in stock, Elena took full ownership of the situation. She searched the inventory, contacted multiple Equinox locations, located the exact bag at the Palisades location, arranged for it to be shipped, and confirmed the shipment. Most importantly, she proactively kept me informed throughout the process, providing updates and reassurance that my bag would arrive before my trip this week. Her communication, attention to detail, and commitment to customer satisfaction were truly exceptional. Employees like Elena are invaluable and deserve to be recognized and rewarded for representing Equinox with excellence. Unfortunately, my experience took a complete turn once Marissa, the store manager at Woodland Hills in CA location became involved. I called the club at 9:00 a.m. and was informed that the shop was closed. The receptionist assured me that a message would be given to the manager and that I would receive a return call around 4:00 p.m. No one called. I called again and spoke with Marissa. During our conversation, she placed me on hold without informing me. The call was disconnected. When I called back, I respectfully asked that she not place me on hold again and instead return my call after locating my order. She agreed, but I never received the promised callback. I called once more and explained to the receptionist that I was leaving the country and urgently needed to know whether the bag--which I had already paid for in full--had arrived. Despite the urgency, I was told Marissa was busy and my call would not be transferred. Ironically, the only person willing to help was Elena, who was not even working today. She immediately responded to my text message, apologized for not being at work, personally tracked my order, and confirmed that my bag had arrived and was ready for pickup. When I went to the store to collect my purchase, I asked to speak with Marissa. Once again, I was told she was too busy and could not be interrupted. Even after I picked up my bag the incompetent store manager never called be back to follow up nor apologized for the in convenience. This experience reflects a serious lack of accountability, communication, and leadership. A store manager should set the standard for customer service, not create unnecessary frustration for customers who have already paid for their purchases and simply need basic information. The difference between Elena and Marissa could not have been more apparent. Elena consistently demonstrated professionalism, accountability, empathy, and exceptional customer care. Marissa failed to communicate, failed to follow through on her commitments, and was unavailable when a customer requested assistance. Equinox should be proud to have employees like Elena. She deserves formal recognition for her outstanding work ethic and commitment to customer satisfaction. At the same time, I strongly encourage Equinox to address the customer service deficiencies demonstrated by its management team to ensure that customers receive the level of service expected from a premium brand.
