I thought I would receive some good hotel and tour recommendations, but what I received was much more valuable. At every hotel/B&B/Castle we stayed in we received upgrades (free breakfast/ larger rooms with 5-Star views/ complementary massages, etc...) that were worth at least $2,000 when added up (although it is hard to put a price on some of the views). Also to my surprise, our airfare was lower than what we had found using various travel websites. Cathy met with us several times before our trip to insure she had covered all of our needs and then tracked us during our travels to insure we were receiving all of the extra perks, and upon our return she inquired as to any changes we would suggest to the itinerary she suggested. I would highly recommend Cathy to anyone planning a trip and will be using her on all future trips!!!

I'm not sure how I found Debra and started working with her, But I think we entered our information…read moreon one of those ads on travel sites and her information came up because she was within our zip code. Anyway, our first point of contact with Debra was at the end of February/beginning March. I sent an inquiry about tropical honeymoon destinations.In the beginning Debra was nice, in the fact that she asked the all the right questions to provide accurate planning and research. We then went back a fourth on places and prices that best fit our honeymoon needs. We communicated solely via email, which can be a good and bad thing. Her emails were very generic, as if she copied and pasted information from travel sites because I started seeing the same information when I would do research on my end. The only difference between what I found and she sent was the price, sometimes the quotes she would send were higher than what was advertised on travel sites (ie: travelocity, cheapair, etc- weird?) I still gave her the benefit of the doubt. Also she'd send multiple emails after emails with minimal information instead of one mass email with all the information you need. You can imagine this became a nuisance. *note, I replied to every email she sent. We were interested in all-inclusive resorts and had a budget of $5k for everything. She started steering us to all-inclusive in the Caribbean and Bahamas, when these places weren't where we initially wanted to go, but she insisted that it was within our budget. After speaking to our family and friends who have gone to those areas, they warned us NOT to go during our scheduled date for the honeymoon which is beginning of August because it's clearly hurricane weather! When we expressed our concern about the bad weather to Debra, she stated that bad weather can happen anywhere at anytime and still pushed us to book where she was recommending. I should have saw this as the first red flag. Flash forward to present day, I receive an email from her with information from Turks and Caicos. We sent an email a couple weeks ago stating we're already booked our honeymoon so I was a little confused as to why I received another email about Turks. When I informed Debra that we have already booked (a second time) she was passive aggressively upset. Please refer to the screen shot picture of our conversation. This just goes to show her true colors since we didn't book with her. Nothing was promised that we would book with her, so her passiveness was very uncomfortable and if you decide to work with someone that pushes you to book somewhere you don't want to and gets mad if you don't work with her, feel free to contact Debra. All in all, we never committed to anything with Debra so I'm not sure where her passive aggressive is coming from. This seems all UNreasonable to me.

She planned our past three trips to Hawaii. The travel agent was very good at recommending condos to my family since we were goinb to Hawaii for a wedding. She helped us plan a trip for 19 people, on three islands with special accomodations since our grandmother uses a wheelchair. Come here if need to plan a tropical getaway.

For instance today, Patrick said I was better to book on line with an airline in China as Ventura Travel couldn't get the same prices as are available through the airline website. That, fellow travelers, is service and integrity as they should be!
