I'm used to going on horse rides where the leader rides in front of the group on their horse and the horses follow. The horses were physically walked by the staff and owner the entire trail and the lead rope wasn't even placed correctly so the horses couldn't take accurate direction we kept getting walked into bushes and low hanging trees. The owner kept yelling directions at staff. It was loud and obnoxious. You could tell the staff didn't appreciate it. Treated us like children. The helmets we used didn't seem sanitary or washed. For a birthday ride it was sub par.

We encountered chickens and kittens which my daughter loved. On the ride we came across monarch butterflies, beautiful views and wild cherries. The terrain was rolling hill like with several picture worthy viewpoints. The paths were a mix of gravel and grass. Sarah was a fantastic and easy going hostess. Denny was a wonderful guide, very patient with my daughter and made sure she was comfortable by teaching her some basics and working in the barn before setting out on the trail. We will go back!

She made sure we felt safe and comfortable, but got us started quickly so we could enjoy the day. Horses were a dream to ride - so sweet and easygoing and great for beginners. No sore butts here! We did 3 wineries and all were delicious and had beautiful idea. Amber was great company and chatted with us about wine, horses, and everything in between. Seriously so accommodating and lovely all around. Sarah was also amazing and called me multiple times before our reservation to make sure we still wanted to go out since rain was in the forecast. Eric is the trainer and what an awesome one at that! He is kind, funny, encouraging and SO knowledgeable! He doesn't make your head spin with technical jargon. Everything is broken down so even the most nervous inexperienced rider would be able to understand what he is trying to convey in a lesson. From children to advanced adults, all you see are happy faces when people are in the arena with Eric. Myself included! I've had many a lesson with a handful of trainers. Eric is by far one of the easiest to relate to. Down to earth comes to mind. The facilities are wonderful. The patrons I have met all seem welcoming and pleasant. The lesson horses are great too! I am looking forward to continuing my riding education at the Chase. My next lesson can't come soon enough!

The barn is clean and large. The horses are friendly and always put a smile on my face. I am looking forward to my lessons twice a week. Safe to say I've fallen in love with riding thanks to The Chase! Very excited for my future lessons and would highly recommend them.
