When we got there, we found that the guy we spoke with is the owner and sells his stock out of his garage. Which is great, no brick and mortar pricing! Unfortunately, we also found out that he doesn't update the "sales" on the website so the bikes we went to look at weren't actually on sale. The owner is very knowledgeable about his product but is a bit on the narcissistic side. That's fine, I'm not married to him, we're just there to buy a bike. He told us if we ever had any questions, we could shoot him a message and he'd get back to us promptly. Since we are new to the e-bike community we had a question a day after we got home with the bikes of why something wasn't working as it should be. But instead of helping us figure out what the problem was and how to fix it he insisted that "we" must have "touched something" and changed a setting (which we didn't, we just pushed the display button to turn it on) but he never told us how to fix the issue so we ended up googling it instead and got it figured out on our own. In my opinion, if you say you'll be there for your customers if they have questions, then do that. Once the sale was over and he had his money, the relationship was pretty much over. Don't get me wrong, we like the bikes and I guess that's what really matters. However, if we ever need service or have any questions down the road, we're a little concerned about what kind of response well get.

I don't feel like these people love connecting people with the outdoors, not sure why they have a shop. No passion, no customer service, really awkward experience overall. I will not be back. Instead of that they changed the battery even when it was good and they gave us a bad one. They changed all the screws and stuff. They say that they are going to fix it and stuff but turns out when I get home it's not good.

She immediately recommended the ALTRA hiking boots which have a wide toe box. She brought several models, and I walked out of there with a pair of ALTRA Lone Peak 9 hiking boots. These were probably the most comfortable boots I have ever worn. I have been everywhere in the Huntsville and Madsion for years and have not been able to find a place that has wide hiking boots. I even went to REI who had no wide boots in my size. Gadsen Outfitters not only gave me a Military discount, but they also have a 30 day return policy. You don't see businesses anymore with such honesty and ethics and actually want to help a customer. It is worth the hour drive from Guntersville as I have found a place where not only have boots for my mangled feet, but are experienced, knowledgeable and are an honest business. There is a little bit of everything, it would seem, related to the outdoors. They have sections for bike riding, climbing, water related sports as well as apparel for men and women. I looked through the stuff for men and didn't come across anything that caught my eye. They did have some stuff that was a little different than what you'd find in department stores. Prices were, in my estimation, slightly higher than what you'd pay at other sporting goods/department stores. They do have a nice selection of shoes, again, that are a little more original than the run of the mill. Some of the branded items you'll find here are Patagonia, The North Face, Trek, Chaco, Osprey, Salomon, Hoka and Kuhl. If you're shopping for outdoor gear, I think this would be a worthwhile place to check out, they may have some good options for you.

Took delivery few days later. Branden the driver was on point. We had to remove the protective plastic wrap from the critical areas. Then I had a pretty empty tank. About a gallon of gas. Vehicle was not cleaned up to standards for delivery to a new customer. Had three days for proper pre-delivery preps. Got word veh had departed svc dept for delivery to me without an air filter installed. Then the last straw was my down payment check had been drafted by the Accounting Dept to my bank twice. My account was handed over to the fraud investigation dept at my bank and they handled everything otherwise Freedom power sports was going to take forever to return my funds due. I realize no intention was made to defraud but with all the other negative issues I had to endure this part of the experience was not great. The last thing Noone from the dealership called to apologize or offer a gift card to a nice place to dine or anything. Good customer relations. I have been waiting three days now from a request to speak with the General Mgt. Deal is done. No more concern for customer follow up. Enjoying my vehicles now but would have hard time recommending to my friends in need of a unit from there.

It's also pleasant riding along the creek and then the river on the other side of Ditto Landing. It is relatively flat so you can go fairly fast. It has been pleasant lately but I can tell in the summer it will be much warmer due to the open areas. Highly recommended!!
