I had an amazing time here! She was incredibly easy to contact and even called ahead of time to make sure we knew about construction on our way. She has just moved to a new location in Westfield and it is very easy to find and has street and municipal parking within a short walk. The massage was excellent! She was able to target some of my problems areas without even needing me to identify them. Her demeanor and voice are incredibly friendly and soothing, so I felt welcome and calm the entire time. She also has great strength which is super important to me because my muscles need a pretty tough rub. I made an appointment with Faiza to get eyelash extensions in preparation for my wedding. She knew exactly the size to recommend (it was my first time with extensions). For the first 24 hours I was convinced that my lashes were too long, but it was just because they were new to me. After getting used to them I can say I love the results and will definitely be going back! How did I ever live without these?! Some information that might be helpful if you're thinking of making an appointment, especially for the first time: this is a small salon, so you will be getting very individual attention; Faiza is very sweet and knows her stuff; the extensions take a long time to apply (but again, so worth it). This was an amazing find ! For the deals that I purchased through Groupon , and then to meet the owner Fazia . She is welcoming , and very professional . I first went last Saturday for a 1 hour massage and eye lash extensions . Before staring any treatment , she tells you step by step what she is about to do or let you know what product she is about to put on . The location is great, right in the center of Westfield . So there is lots to do in that area before or after your appointment , cute bakeries , restaurants and shops all around . And I told her I was traveling with friends this weekend , and she accommodated both services in one day ! Very clean and updated building , including the bathroom and her salon as well. I felt so comfortable with her that I booked a Brazilian wax today . It was my first time and it went well . She's so professional and calming that I didn't feel weird about it . I bought a Groupon for this salon, but was never able to use it. The owner was extremely difficult to get hold of, and when we finally connected a few weeks later she informed me she was only fulfilling Groupons during night hours. She also invited me to go to her house on a Sunday to complete the Groupon (YIKES!), but her house is quite a distance from the salon and I didn't feel comfortable going to her house. When I stated as such, she suggested I contact Groupon and try to get a refund because she would not accommodate me at all. Buyer beware! read more

I had an amazing experience at this spa and I will most definitely be returning! I had a groupon for a 45-minute Swedish and hot stone massage and a 45-minute facial, both were fantastic. It was my first time ever getting a massage and she made me feel very comfortable and relaxed. The location is easy to get to with lots of on street parking. When I arrived to the appointment that I made online, it was not booked in her computer and had to return later in the day, but she made me pay cash with the excuse that her "credit card machine was iffy." I'm an RN in the area for 3-4 months and the owner had quite an attitude with me regarding my request to use my debit card. I had to hunt on a Sat for an ATM which charge a fee to obtain cash. The work done was acceptable and I referred two fellow RN's to her salon. When I attempted to make a follow up appointment on line (which did not work), by phone or text, I didn't receive a call back. Time to find another place.... too much of a hastle. read more

I'm sure my experience was an outlier and I don't want this to be a reflection of the V&M as a whole. However, the haircut I received from Morgan in July 2017 was probably the worst haircut I have received in my entire life. (The back was fine but what she did to my hair made me cry for months) It is because of that haircut that even over a year later that neither I or other stylists can figure out how set my bangs because she ruined them so terribly. Overall the building was clean and lovely and everyone was welcoming. That said, I indicated that I intended to pay with my Groupon when making my appointment on the phone, and the person I was talking to accommodated me without any problem. The service itself was on par with excellent massages I've received elsewhere at professional massage studios. This spa is run by one motivated woman! She has been so great ensuring that all my needs are met. I was short on time trying to make an appointment for a Brazilian wax and she was able to squeeze me in early in the morning, later telling me that she is inbetween school classes, working on expanding her practice. She is very nice, and courteous. Makes you feel like she cares about you and your individual needs. She is quite flexible and will make your appointment work for you, and the one time she was running late, she texted me in advance. So courteous!!!! I scheduled a 7:45pm appointment with Faiza to install eyelash extensions. At appx 7:35 I received a text from her saying "running late" (I live about 30 min away from this place so I was practically there). Bring that this was not the first time this happened to me I responded "That's too long but I've already driven to Westfield. I have to be honest this is why I stopped coming before. Hopefully it doesn't happen again." Needless to say, once I got there I was greeted with a host of excuses and a somewhat defensive/argumentative approach to my dissatisfaction. Nonetheless, I waited for 1hr 30 minutes before deciding to leave. When I announced I was leaving she simply said, "ok"! No apology for the inconvenience, no attempt to make the wrong right. Again, this wasn't the first time this happened to me at this establishment but it will be the last. I consider myself fairly reasonable when it comes to waiting at salons for services however waiting until nearly 10pm for that long is unacceptable in my eyes. And for the owner to not take accountability or try to rectify this is even more insulting. So if you value time management and adhering (closer than 1hr 30min wait) to a schedule--beware of this flaw. It will frustrate you to the max! read more
