This theater was about 40 minutes from NE Philly, but worth the trip! We ended up getting seats up in the balcony so we had the chance to see everything, every detail of the ballet was viewed. The ballet was amazing! The dancers put on an awesome show and the production of the show was amazing as well. Everything from the music, to the concerts was well put together and I was stunned by how swiftly the dancers twirled and glided across the stage. The stage area was intimate and spacious, and surprisingly the seats were comfortable up in the balcony section.

The Roxy Ballet is housed in, what is called, The Canal Studios, way down on the end of Union St. in Lambertville. The performance space is very intimate, which we loved. There is a large parking lot around the back of the building, where the entrance is. Once inside at the theater we were warmly greeted and shown to our front row seats. The Ballet is supported by, in part donations. They also have classes for young people. F and I were so close to the dancers, we were able to see the whites of their eyes. All the performances were emotional and heartfelt. We love see such wonderful talent so close to home and on such an intimate level. Looking forward to the next show.

Getting inside through security and ticket was a bit of a mess but it was fine. What really annoyed me was the fact that the bartender did not tell me that I had to buy a different cup for my drink to bring inside. Yes I did see a sign on top of the bar but wasn't sure what it said maybe this is the sign that explained about the cups and I just missed it. Well anyways, I got just a cup of regular seltzer water. I got the check it was like 9 something. I know it's the Met opera and nyc but come on! I pay this for great tasting coffee. So he gave me the cup and than I asked for a lid and the bartender was rude about it he told me there were no lids and I asked if I could bring into the main theater he said no that i'd have to buy another cup. So I did.. A little over 5.00 for this cup which is pretty absurd if you ask me. Also, they don't have many food/snack options it is not like a regular broadway theater at all. I did see like sandwiches and chocolate bars. Which I am sure are also outrageously priced. The theater itself is beautiful and there are many levels to it. At every seat there is a subtitle little screen since some operas performed here are not in english. This is a good idea. I did not go see the bathroom so I can't talk about that. And as I was leaving I said thank you to one of the workers here and have a good night and he just looked at me and said nothing. For the price of tickets we pay the service just did not deliver.

It was not a big auditorium, we were in an auditorium (James M. Cahill Stage), with a capacity of app 500 folks. The show started on time, with no interruptions, Show went well and, after that, we got a chance to take a photo with Vipul Goyal- that was unexpected. The sound was perfectly balanced and good, with no issues in lighting- that's up to the Showrunners. Even seat arrangments, and view of the stage- it was good. A small bar and snack counter are there and enough restrooms- so it's all there . After the show, there were many restaurants nearby so no hassling in finding good restaurants as well.. we tried chai chenak, and it was good. Parking: either street side or cheap parking is available in parking garages. (attaching photo of parking rates of 'Morris Street Parking garage') It houses two state-of-the-art theater venues and three dedicated rehearsal spaces.
