There is a feeling of community amongst the parents, and everyone celebrates each others' successes. It's well worth our 35 minute drive three times a week for us, because we know our daughter is part of a studio that is interested in her dance education rather than just our wallet. Shows are Broadway quality, costumes are tasteful and appropriate, and the choreography is outstanding. The studio itself is homey and gorgeous. You seriously cannot find better in the Bucks County area!

The staff has also been a delight to interact with. Apparently, come spring, the ballet year culminates in a mega performance consisting of all of their classes. There's supposed to be ornate costumes, majestic sets, the whole 9 yards. We're truly looking forward to that!

Located just west of the Passaic River waterfront in Newark, the New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) is one of the largest performing arts centers in the US and home to the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra, bringing world-class entertainment. My partner, our friends, and I managed to obtain four tickets as well as parking via Ticketmaster in the orchestra row for this Saturday event called "Hollywood in New Jersey," featuring some of the most iconic film music of all time performed by the New Jersey Symphony with guest conductor David Newman and an award-winning German pianist, Sebastian Knauer. Upon arrival as first-timers at the Prudential Hall, we were greeted by the staff. The interior architecture was breathtaking and felt like stepping back in time to the golden age of theater. There were three levels that can be accessed by stairs or an elevator and seat approximately 3,000 spectators. The event kicked off with a special introductory from NJ Governor Phil, and his wife, Tammy, spoke about the Garden State being the new Hollywood of the East and recounted the experience with the German pianist while they were ambassadors in Germany. The venue offered a clear stage view, great acoustics, and comfortable seating. We were very surprised with how clean and polished everything looked. A gigantic ball-shaped chandelier caught our eyes. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Parking in Military Parking Garage was a breeze, with plenty of options nearby. Just keep in mind that exiting the local garages after a show could take a little time, as many patrons were leaving at once. The staff did a great job directing traffic out of the garage. An excellent evening all the way around. We're definitely looking forward to visiting again.

Couldn't get a seat at the bar at LEO to get a glass of wine and an appetizer. We didn't want a whole meal, just wanted to nosh a bit with a glass of wine. We got a super sweet mix of yogurt coated nuts, which we didn't finish. The venue is MASSIVE, and could easily offer a place to provide some decent wraps, maybe a large Philly soft pretzel w/a honey mustard dip to share, mini-quiches, fruit salad, a cheese and/ or cheese and salami platter-- even AMtrak offers that! Why NO Chardonnay, NO Pinot Grigio? That's just pathetic. The Kimmel needs to upgrade their Pre-theater offerings! A mixed drink with a great pour size, and a bottle of soda was $12 - which is cheaper than most venues considering it was a full bottle and we go to keep the cap and the mixed drink was large. We saw "The Carpenters", which I saw a while back at the Algonquin theater. I wanted to see the show again because it was so good, but this show was like listening to the B-side of a 45. I can't even tell you how disappointed I was that they didn't play many hits. She sang covers from other artists and not so popular hits. I personally found it strange the way the show began with the guy running the strand, coming on stage with a piece of paper talking, and then having us stand for the Pledge of Allegiance. I have no problems saying the Pledge of Allegiance, but I just found the whole thing odd. I've never gone to any other musical event or show where they had everyone stand up and say the Pledge of Allegiance prior to the event. I also had a rude person seating us. I thought I had bought center orchestra, but it turned out that I bought center tier and when I told him I just wanted to look at my phone to verify what I had purchased because I thought my tickets were wrong. He got nasty with me and told me that's what your ticket said that's what you bought and I told him to just give me a minute so I could just look it up on my phone to verify and it wasn't like he had anything else to do or he was seating anyone else I didn't ask him to wait with me. I understood that my tickets were for the tier, but before I climb the stairs to the top, I wanted to make sure that I got the correct tickets from Will call, but instead of just letting me be, he felt the need to argue with me when there was no argument to be had, and him finally walking away, saying whatever. Other than him all the other people working there were great. This was just one experience but normally I never have any problems there.
