This was not only a bad nail job, but the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I went back and tried to have them fix it, and she argued that my nail was crooked even though there was a huge gap between my nail and the fake nail tip. I was getting stuff packed in the cracks constantly. I finally kindly just asked to have them taken off and to have a refund. I understand sometimes things don't go well but when it doesn't, you do the right thing. They did take off my nails but was sooo incredibly rude to me and didn't have the decency to refund my tip. I've gotten my nails done three times by three different techs here and have an extremely positive experience each time. Each time, my pedicure has been very relaxing and thorough and my manicures have been immaculate. The gel polish has lasted two+ weeks each time which is amazing. I came here to get my acrylics taken off and 3 people pressed me to get a mani or pedi. I went with a mani because they seemed nice and I didn't want to waste their time like they made me feel like I was. They look absolutely horrible and I can not stop laughing at them!! I didn't have the heart to tell the lady did terrible, but I should have because when I paid she held the receipt in her hand and watched me as I signed it, so I was obligated to also leave a tip. A manicure here costs $16. Mine turned out beautifully. I showed up early on a Friday afternoon and even though the salon was poppin' with customers, I waited only 10 minutes. Right after me three more customers arrived and they were all seated soon after me. Next to me a mother and her daughter were celebrating the girl's 5th birthday. The woman who painted her nails was wonderful with her and gave her a fabulous manicure: alternating gold and white on her nails with a painted on red flower on each white nail. So precious! I am not one to ever complain and/ or confront anyone. I asked for a gel mani. She rushed me into picking a nail color and then loudly stated to someone else "hurry up and get the polish before she changes her mind." Keep in mind, I had been sitting in the chair for about 3 minutes when she made this comment. The nail tech went straight into applying the polish. When I asked her if she was going to remove the cuticles, she got an attitude and told me that I need to tell her I wanted that done.... when I specifically told them I wanted a gel manicure. I haven't gone back to this nail salon in quite sometime. Though it's important for me to stay polished, I am having a really hard time getting consistent quality. I would say this and other nearby salons are for people who want the most basic services. I like my nails a certain way and can be self described as picky but I pay and I tip and I'm not rude as I am honest about my pickiness. However it's very obvious that they are annoyed because I'm not the average customer who they rush in and out due to barely any effort needed. I have to pay for what I want but as soon as customers pile in with not enough staff to cover, the work gets lazy, disrespectful, rushed and ruined in order to take the next customer. It's my fault for wanting what I desire and my fault they don't have enough staff. Her name is Sarah. She is the best in the salon. She's fast and her work is impeccable. I came here for the first time today and had a very pleasant experience. I received the best pedicure of my life and a good manicure. A woman named Lisi (not sure about spelling)worked on me and she was very polite and thorough. I got a regular pedicure and a gel manicure on my natural nails. I was having trouble shaping my nails into the square shape I wanted at home and I think Lisi did a good job. The total for the pedi and gel manicure was $60. The absolute WORST! I came to get a gel manicure, and one day later, my gel has already peeled off. I was very visible in the salon about how disappointed I was with how sloppy my manicure was and thought they'd for sure give a discount. Not only did I not get a discount, but I was charged 3 more dollars than they originally quoted me for. They need to train their employees on how to correctly do gel nails, because this was the worst I've ever received! I did get a pedicure as well and it was average. read more

They ruined my nails. The woman was more worries about her phone than what she was doing to my nails. She filed the top layer of my nail down so much that my nails were extremely brittle. The gel Polish was sloppy and 2 of my nails broke within minutes of leaving the salon. I didn't hit them on anything. Asked for my money back and they were rude and said it was my fault. I hope this review helps someone. I had a terrible experience at Venus nails in Tri-County on Princeton Pike. I had visited this store two times in the past and today my 15-year-old daughter went in to get a full set of nails with two special nails of SNS and she was wrongfully charged her for her nail length and shape of her nails. The shape of her nails is square and the length of her nails is a regular length when getting a full set of nails. She was taken advantage because she was not with an adult but I trusted this nail salon to be honest because she's a teenager and when my husband paid for her nails the nail tech charged her $53.50 plus a tip. She did not get an extended length nail nor a coffin shape nail but instead she was taken advantage of-I'm terribly sadden over this experience. Venus I have a voice and your establishment it not to be trusted! Stay away from this place! My recommendation is that no one should support this establishment for any service. This is about principle and treating others the way they should be treated regardless of age or color! read more
