I made a review online for the following day. I didn't really have to wait and was helped right away. I wanted a design with 2 color circles in the middle. Usually, when I do this at home I use eyeshadow or gel on a makeup sponge. The person doing my nails said he wasn't able to do that so I just chose a milky white color and figured I could add on later when I was home. When booking the appointment it was $35 full set + $7 for a shape. I got an acrylic full set, short-med length with almond shape and one gel color. Appointment took 45 minutes. It ended up being $57 cash or $62 on card. I'm guessing gel is an extra $15? It doesn't say that on the site so I was a bit surprised. He did a great job regardless. I've had two really good experiences here. The staff are nice and efficient. I called in because I made an appt at another salon and they cancelled day-of and Katy's was available. The second time I came to Katy's months later was for absurdly the same reason, so I guess Katy's is my go-to-place now! To make things go quicker if you're getting a regular mani-pedi they may have one person start on your nails while you're getting your pedicure, which is nice because it's time saving for everyone. I find the prices reasonable, the technicians do a good job, and it's in a good location downtown. The shop is wheelchair accessible and there's a parking lot nearby. read more

Staying in downtown for a wedding and needed pedicure done on a Saturday. Easy to get there on the free connector line so I didn't have to walk back. Good thing I called a few days before for a reservation bc it was very busy. It's not that big since in downtown. Very Reasonably priced, good service, nails still look good a week later. A group of 5 of us went to Katy's together and all got mani/pedis. We called ahead of time, and they were great about being ready for us all. It took us about 90 minutes to get in and out, and it cost $50. The manicurist did a great job scrubbing my foot clean and the staff was all very nice, but overall no one in my party was particularly impressed. 2 of the girls asked for the same color of their toes & fingers, and the color didn't match when they were finished. Another girl asked for a color she typically gets at her regular salon, & she said it was different than she was expecting. My toes looked alright afterward, but they were not as cleanly painted as I was hoping. My nails started to chip by the end of the day, and within the next 48 hours all of my fingernails had chipped. I am not impressed with the manicure at all, I would rather have just painted them myself & called it a day. read more

I got a full set of gel acrylics put on, and I love them. I brought the butterflies pictured, so don't expect them to have them!! But I showed them a picture of what I wanted and they were very nice did it perfectly. I was in and out in 40 minutes. The fastest manicure i've ever received. The only thing is the color selection isn't great. I was looking for a sage green, but this was the closest I could find. If you're going for a specific color, maybe bring your own. Other than that the price was pretty standard, maybe a tad expensive. Would definitely go again. read more

Friendly and very efficient with time; However, this salon is not worth the price. I got a manicure on Tuesday at 1pm and by Thursday morning it was already chipping off. My sister & I were trying to find a place to get our nails done on a Saturday. EVERY place we went to had a wait we both had to work. Finally we found Katy's Nails, which is a very small run down nail salon in downtown. We both got acrylic full set with polish. There nail polish selection is small very few OPI the ones they do have are old and chunky. My nails lasted a week before having to get them redone my polish started chipping not even 24 hours after. When I went to get them redone the salon I went to said my nails were so bad they had to put a new full set on and the powder they used was very cheap!! read more
