He said their "top" tech was going to put the analyzer on it. They said it needed a new rack that was going to cost $4,400.00 He couldn't tell me what the labor was going to cost. While I was stuck there, I looked online and the most common cause for this problem was a blown fuse. I went to ask if they had checked the fuse. He said they did and that was the problem. Great. What could a 10amp fuse cost? Well, they charged $48 for a $1.50 fuse and then added another $360 for labor to find out what they screwed up and to install the fuse. I went in expecting to pay $200 for an oil change. (They charged $295 for an oil change) and added over $400.00 for the fuse fiasco so I had to pay $700.00 to get out of there. I felt like the victim of a robbery when I left. I would never consider doing business (getting robbed) by them again and I recommend you avoid this place at all costs.

In the initial planning stages, I knew based on the mileage on my 2022 Subaru that I'd need an oil change somewhere around North Dakota or Montana. I looked up Subaru dealerships along Interstate-90 in those states. I decided on Kramer Subaru based on nothing but the mileage on my odometer and the distance I calculated traveled during my road trip. While spending the night in a motel in Fargo, ND, I called Kramer Subaru and verified that I could pop in for an oil change the next day. The person who answered said it would be best to make an appointment, but I told them I couldn't because I didn't know what time I'd be arriving. The next morning I drove through freezing rain on the interstate for hours, a few times having to slow down to 35 mpg just to keep from spinning out on the ice on the road. When I arrived at Kramer Subaru my car was covered in ice. I told them a bit of my story. Road trip to Seattle (to start with) and that I'd just driven in from Fargo. They seemed a bit perplexed, and the service employee who helped me (Michael) said they were supposed to have an insurance specialist drive in from Fargo that morning, but he called and said he couldn't make it because the roads were too icy. I wanted to ask if he was not driving a Subaru, but I refrained. Kramer Subaru was amazing. Their service was super-quick for a pop in, and they were exceptionally helpful, even looking up the weather westward for me and giving me tips for driving into Montana. The price for the oil change was less than what I used to pay for oil changes on my old VW Passat 4-Motion. If I'm ever in Mandan, ND again, I'd go back to Kramer Subaru for sure...but since I never will be, I can at least leave this review in gratitude for a great experience.

Due to the warranty my daughter went ahead with the repairs, but it was a waiting game because of the extent, and my daughter had to be at a job in Wyoming.
