It may not have quite as much as a bigger market, but has some good and bad. The butcher was super friendly and if they don't have the bread that you might be looking for, ask the butcher, he may have some in the back. I've noticed that they have a decent selection of iced tea (unsweetened too!!). Rao's pasta sauce is an added bonus. They've got a pretty decent selection of beer & wine. I wish they had more Pilsners and lagers, but IPA's are more popular so that's probably a better use of space. Sometimes their veggies have issues, so look before you buy.

Most every person I encountered in Quebec seemed completely unable to communicate in English. The darling proprietor of this shop was willing and quite able to help this US visitor. She helped me with selections from her own delicious creations and advising what items would ship the best. It was a bit complicated to compute the Canada mail fees and then add the US mail fees and the customs costs, but she stuck with it until completion. And my daughter really enjoyed the treats when they arrived. Beautiful little local shop, where the owner was the efficient as the chocolatier, as well as being the m m to her two very young children who were there in the shop with her. If you are touring around rural Quebec Province and are in Compton, please stop to enjoy a really lovely shop.

They told us we could and even let us know what would be the best time to see the transformation (batch process) and you can see it through a glass in their store. We were also able to see their very nice storage in the back of the factory/store. Prices are good and you can find some exclusive products (aged cheese). Have fun with the family!
