They are supporting rec users become MEDICAL, they will have access to OUR ALREADY LIMITED MED INVENTORY. MANY OTHER REASONS. It's being PROMOTED in the store when you walk in- One of the reasons the sign states compares MED taxes vs REC taxes. It was at 12:26 on 4/30- TODAY. Today a woman walked fast to get inside before me, I didn't care. She got in the REC line- She is NOT a medical patients. She is a recreational cannabis user not being used as medication your doctors want you to try or take. The guy was rude and not helpful at all about my capsule questions and was just rushing. As I walked away I saw the REC lady walk right up to him, the MEDICAL PATIENT said something about it, I did not hear what she said, but she said something. The REC lady said no I've been waiting, it was about 3 minutes. THE EMPLOYEE SAID- YEAH SHE'S BEEN WAITING LONGER. THAT'S NOT THE POINT OF A MEDICAL LINE OR MEDICAL CANNABIS. To SELL MORE, you're PROMOTING people WITHOUT THE HEALTH NEEDS FOR IT TO get a MEDICAL CARD for savings and to dip into your SMALL POT OF MED INVENTORY AS IS. I've since I received that email, switched to CURALEAF in NEW LENOX- They are VERY helpful, never rush, DO NOT treat MEDICAL patients differently, and many other things but I'm tiring of typing. **I've only. been there if I NEED a product they DON'T have. 2018-2026 I've used 3C and then RISE. I am super disappointed as a med patient- I jumped through hoops to get my medical card and my doctor and that process is very expensive, and obviously insurance does not cover a dime. Fingerprints, mini photo, background check ETC. I'll never return UNLESS I can't find a product I need ANYWHERE else. Rise Joliet is really getting bad. The Naperville location was no where near as bad as this location. Try again. But you did lose a patient TODAY that has supported RISE since 2018-2026. Good Luck!

Once we met a employee here welcoming my girlfriend and I to check out the free stickers, we used to go all the time.. then the next time we went a guy busted out the door and called out my girl by her name saying she's on camera and she can't go lookin for free stuff. The next time we go, I kid you not, the manager busted through a door when we were there and straight up told us there was a note against us. Just over a free sticker. We told him we know already, and we're disgusted to hear they have notes like 'write ups' on their customers. The manager apologizes that he brought it up and gives us a free pre roll for harassing us again. ( BUT was the note ever deleted?) next time we go in the original employee who yelled at us greets us at the door and tells us that because my id has a little damage that he's going to "start giving us a harder time " about it... We get checked in and the dude holds my ID at the register. He raises his arm with my ID in the air... I say dude I got another ID in perfect condition just use this one. Dude takes both my id... holding them both from me without my consent, OK This guy is not law enforcement. He cannot detain my iDs without my consent. And he calls over his manager. The same manager who gave us a pre roll before.. I say ' hey he's now got 2 forms of my identification and he's bugging you now.. can I please just buy something now .?" And the manager says ooh sure! And as I'm handing over my cash the manager whispers to our cashier " talk to me in the office once your done here" So then 4 days later I go to send my girlfriend in for a new purchase and they tell her that she's BANNED. And I'm BANNED to. when the employee had BOTH my ID in HIS raised arm and the manager is Busting out the door a second time towards us, apparently his first thoughts was to bann us both because he "felt I raised my voice" in this situation.. When I literally said " can I please just buy something now?" Pretty much right off the bat. My girlfriend, realizing that she's now banned for no reason, calls aura light and they put the manager on the phone. she says, "what did I do?" And he emails her an attachment with vague descriptions saying Harassment, harassment.. (no real explanation) from random days were we looked or were reminded to not look... for Free stickers. All we ever did was get yelled at for looking for Free stickers, that advertise Their brands. We were totally into Aura light.. but watch them, they don't treat you like a guest. They may apologize to your face and distract you with a preroll gift but their notes and their ability to Bann you 4 days later still remains. Try Market 96, friends.

So, I've been utilizing an "alternative source" for my marijuana needs. Then, I heard about Smoke Lab in Sterling. I used to drive to Sterling from Dixon for bud in the 80's, so it was a drive I'm familiar with, and I can tell you without any hesitation that it was well worth our drive. Smoke Lab reminded us of the dispensaries in Los Angeles, where we could examine the product before we bought. The jazz-cabbage is all clearly on display and the bud-tender knew exactly what she was talking about. We got a fantastic deal on quality flower & we will be driving to Smoke Lab from now on when we're in the market. This is what I'd *hoped* the smoke stores would be like in Illinois when marijuana was legalized, but in true Illinois fashion, the criminals in Springfield priced the licensure where only the same parasite-class who'd kept it illegal for a century could afford the license to open a dispensary - and the dispensary in Dixon is a perfect example of the over-regulated, corporate-controlled result.
