This was my first time at Verilife and Josh the GM was who helped me. I came in for products specifically for pain and something to help with sleep. He is well informed and helped me find edibles and a lotion to help with the issues at hand. He explained the products thoroughly and I felt comfortable with the items I purchased. Josh is super friendly and kind, he made this experience very easy. This location is spotless, the security is top notch and even the music playlist was something I enjoyed. I highly recommend this location and Josh for any THC/CBD wants/needs. Tip - Bring cash, the atms inside do have a service charge. read more

Absolutely Avoid Verilife - Worst Dispensary Experience I've Ever Had If I could give zero stars, I would. My visit to Verilife was so shockingly unprofessional that it left me wondering how this place is even still in business. After reading their multiple criminal complaints online for violence and theft, I should've taken the hint, but I decided to give it a try--huge mistake. The staff? Clearly high on the job. One cashier spent over twenty minutes joking around with a customer while the rest of us stood in line, ignored. No urgency, no backup, and zero awareness that people have lives outside of standing around in a weed shop. It felt like watching a bad improv show with no punchline. Eventually, a tall guy in ripped pajamas shuffled past to the bathroom. Ten minutes later he shuffled past again like he just woke up, it felt like the DMV. He didn't greet me, yawned in my face, dropped my change, and then just stared at me like he wanted to fight. Apparently he was trying to intimidate me--very laughable. No thank you to Verilife on Barrington road, no professionalism, just a weird, aggressive vibe that felt totally inappropriate and borderline threatening. It's painfully obvious that the staff is either under the influence while working or simply don't care about the customer experience. Either way, the manager (Andrew) is failing big time. Allowing employees to behave like this--especially ones with a history of stealing or being fired--is a massive red flag. It's like the Wild West in there, and customer service is the last thing on their minds. There are at least three other dispensaries within a block that actually know how to treat customers with respect. Do yourself a favor and go literally anywhere else. For example I bought a vape oil it came half full I open it in front of them at the store and then wouldn't exchange or give me a refund. A total scam ! On September 28th around 9pm I drove 30 minutes to this location when I have a dispensary 5 minutes away from me just for the sale they had going on. I'm a medical patient and on their website it says 15% off for medical patients since the location is only rec. So I go to Verilife in Schaumburg and the cashier tells me that they cannot offer the 15% off for me being a medical patient because they do not stack discounts. I let them know that their website does not say that or specify that and I just drove 30-40 minutes for the sale and that if their website specified that then I would not have went to that location. I asked to speak to the manager who's name was Jake. He was standing close to us so he heard everything I had said to the cashier. He immediately came off as rude and in a rude/annoyed tone he started off by saying "So I'm going to make this real simple for you. We can either give you the sale price of the 14 grams your trying to purchase or we can give you the 14 grams (that was on sale) at the original price and then take off the 15% that your really wanting." I asked if that's all you can do and then he said "I literally just told you what we can do for you." I then told him he did not have to be so rude and that I explained I've been a medical patient and have been shopping at verilife for almost 2 years and he's the only manager that has ever been so rude. He actually then thanked me and told me to have a good day and walked away. It was already past 9pm so it was to late to go to any other dispensary so because the manager was not willing to help a medical patient (myself) I got less sleep and experienced more pain that night.
