They are the absolute worst company please if you've got service with them change it cancel it but make sure you notify them in plenty of time and which we did and they still came back and continue to charge us for something that we did not have. the customer service number, I waited over an hour to speak to somebody because when I went to the store in Aberdeen he could not help us. He did not want to try. He did not want to give us the time a day he kept saying there's nothing we can do. There's nothing we can do. He didn't even try to help us. My husband and I were in desperate need of new phones due to battery decay and camera quality decline. Went to the Verizon store to trade in my phone. While there, the sales person also convinced me to trade in my Apple Watch. All of that went fine. The problem is they then talk you into buying all of these accessories that are triple the price of Best Buy but they convince you you need them "or your new phone will overheat." NOT TRUE! The Best Buy products work fine! Also, while I was away (they sent me to lunch since the data download from my old phone was going to take a while), they put on a $49 screen protector that I didn't authorize. (I always get my screen protectors from Best Buy since they do free replacements when they become damaged.) The sales person said this company did as well, only when you go online, there is a $13 shipping fee each time! When I went back today to speak to the manager, she had no interest in helping and basically argued with me about the Best Buy screen protectors. I did not feel listened to at all! Sorry to say but this is the last time I will do business in that Verizon store. It's too bad, since I have been a Verizon customer for decades. Unfortunately, it seems as though the mission of this store is to sell as many accessories as possible. Customer care does not seem to play into their vocabulary. read more

Randa was extremely helpful in selecting new iphone with me and transferring over data from current phone. Randa set up new features and made sure I understood how everything worked. A very helpful and patient individual. She even suggested accessories that I may find helpful, and registered everything so the warranties were in effect. Very disappointed on the way we were treated by Isaac in our local Cellular sales store located in Aberdeen. We have been loyal customers of theirs for many years. But after a rude interaction on returning a product that we purchased just hours before, we will not go back. However, I'm grateful for the outstanding customer service that Verizon was able to give me over my own local retailer. Verizon gave us a credit on our bill to cover the expense of the restocking fee that they refused to waive and ALSO, for selling us a device that was no longer able to be purchased through Verizon itself. It was two generations old and should no longer be in stores according to Verizon management. Let me mention that Isaac was nice enough to let us know not to purchase phone cases and accessories through their store - that you can buy them cheaper at Walmart...same brands! read more

My 72 year old mother went into verizon (Aberdeen, NC) for the first time. No one smiled at her or greeted her and she was the only customer. She said a grumpy man helped her with the ringer on her phone. She left but returned because she forgot to ask if they had replacement earphones for her phone. The female employees were sitting down eating lunch at the counter. They were curt in their answer that Verizon does not have earphones for her phone (which we bought at this store). She didn't understand why they were not helpful and so she repeated her question ... it took several attempts before they decided to explain to her that the earphone plug is a different shape than what they had in the store. She thought they were cruel because she was elderly and shy. It hurts my heart that the whole store was a bad experience for her. We bought her a $1000+ phone from them ... but that shouldn't be a reason why you should treat a human with kindness. I wonder what the service would have been like if I was able to accompany her. If you hate your job, you should leave and not create a bad name for the company who is employing you. I hope your mothers are treated with more respect from people whose job it is to support their product! read more

Make sure to get the terms of your contract VERY CAREFULLY explained to you. I ended up with a $40/month charge I didn't want along with $11/month insurance which I SPECIFICALLY REMEMBER DECLINING! Shame! Shame! read more

I normally dread going to the cellphone company, I'm used to people trying to up-sell me on things I don't need. That was not the case at this Verizon store. Chris was super helpful. He helped identify the right package for my family's needs. It's nice to know I can go there if I have questions or problems, be treated with respect, and receive honest answers. read more

The sales associate I had was very nice and helpful and purchase went smoothly but after being a Verizon customer for about 14 years, I was offered $35.00 for my phone as a trade in (they offered $55.00 online and I should have done that). As if that wasn't enough, there were no perks through the store. For a while I noticed Verizon offering Gear and/or a LG phone if you upgraded but nothing was offered. If you spend over $820 on a phone and have been a customer forever, it seems they should give you some incentive to stay. After this phone, I'm headed to another provider that values it's customers more. read more

Had a great experience here today! We had a car charger malfunction so we stopped in to see what they could do. The store quickly replaced the charger for us and we were in and out with our new equipment in less than 5 minutes. Excellent service! read more
