Eek is right, I should have stayed with AT&T. This store has been above and beyond the worst customer service I have ever had. After being greeted by the big guy, I wait and wait and wait...you get the picture. Finally after 15 minutes my original salesman emerges. Justin is his name and lying is his game. Not only did he lie about the trade in value of the phones I brought in, he also lied (and has continued to lie for 5 months) about the cost and discount applied to my bill. Ya see, I qualify for a national discount, a nice little perk, or should be. Due to Justin's inability to correctly add the discount I have been over charged 4 of 5 months. When I ask him to correct his multiple mistakes, he refers to his manager. First time this happened, the manager was helpful and polite. By the time third time, I think the big guy at the front door knows my name by now, my foolish salesman refers to his manager again. Only this time, the manager does not even greet us. Mr. Pompous keeps his back to me and proceeds to tell Justin that I have to submit proof of eligibility for a THIRD time to have the discount applied. We did again and here I am for a fourth month, overcharged and relying on the incompetent staff at Cornerstore Verizon to actually fix the multitude of mistakes. Ugh!! Just went in to see what my options were to upgrade my phone. Never been treated so rudely in my life! The girl was rolling her eyes at me, talking down to me and the salesman next to her chimed in too. Then to top it off another salesman went over to my 2 year old daughter and was about to move her from a display. He looked at me and said she is going to mess these up! She wasn't hurting anything!! That was the last straw for me and I scooped up my little girl and walked out. Must have been a rough day in this Verizon store! I will never step foot in here again and I suggest you don't either! Very dissatisfied with the service here at this location. I've been having reception issues with my brand new iPhone and when I called Verizon they didn't hesitate to send a replacement through the mail immediately. When I received the replacement the screen has a reddish/pink hue to the screen so I took it in to show them and request a different replacement the guy who helped me seemed uninterested in helping me from the beginning. Over the phone the rep from Verizon told me that while there is a possibility of receiving a refurbished phone that it was unlikely because the phone is so new. He also told me if I took the replacement and the original phone it that they would exchange my glass screen protector for a new one on the new phone. When I walked into the store to show them the issue I was having with the screen the guy tried telling me the color was off because I had True Tone on which I didn't, I watched him turn it on at the beginning but where he failed was he flipped the option on the wrong phone. It was the second phone that had a screen issue. He told me I should just use it and that after a day I'd just get use to the red/pink tone of the screen. I asked if they would replace it instead and he said he could but didn't want to because I was guaranteed a refurbished phone in what he described would be in bad/worse condition than mine. I know that's not true but I could tell he just didn't want to deal with it. So I asked that if I took the replacement that I was keen on if they could apply a new screen protector on it and he said no. I would have to buy one regardless of the warranty. I grabbed the phones and told him I'd go to apple instead. He must never have finalized the visit in the computer because I never got a survey email for my visit. The people here are younger people who seem to be bothered when asked to do anything other than a straightforward sale. read more

Avoid this store at all costs, especially is you're female/white. Went into the store to look into adding a smart phone to an existing plan. Sales clerk implemented far too much physical contact. I've never been swatted, nudged or pulled behind the counter so many times. I also do not appreciate strangers touching my baby. The clerk signed us up for a big old smart phone plan/data thing without us knowing it. Then, told us we were not elligible for an upgrade to a smart phone. Why would I want to pay more and still not have a smart phone? The lady got in my face, went all ghetto, hands in the air and shaking. Insisted that she could not reverse it. She was arguing with me, it was scary!! She was like a bull dog. I've never met a meaner bully. I am small, quiet and polite. I was mistreated because of my race. I went into Verizon's Southlands location. I spoke with a young lady who was very helpful. I told her I need to upgrade my phone for my wife. She explained that they had a special going that included a home phone option and that I would get two months for free. I calculated that purchasing an I-Phone would cost me about two months of service so I went with it. This is where the fun begins. I watched my bill for two months. No credit showed up. I called her and asked what happened. She stated that the two months were for the home phone only. When I explained our conversation she said she would talk to her manager and call me back. When I had not her from her in over a week I called again. She said she was with a customer and would call me back. Another week went by so I went into the store and asked for a manager. He listened to my story and checked and said that my credit just went through (that day). I asked what the credit was for and he stated for the two months of home phone service. When I explained how the conversation went and showed him how it was laid out on the salesperson's business card he said he would have to talk with her and would call me back. Still no call back or resolution. Beware once you leave you are on your own. They do not call you back. Presenting a plan then not following through is just bad business. I have been with Verizon for well over ten years and continue to stay with them because their coverage is hard to beat. However when this contract expires I am seriously considering looking elsewhere. read more

Horrible service. I bought an unlocked phone at Best Buy. There was a problem with the activation which required a new sim card. The Verizon agent on the phone said it was their fault and all I needed to do was visit a Verizon store to get a new sim card. The people in the store said only Best Buy could do it. The store said I should buy a new phone from them and then they could activate it. Crooks. We went to Best Buy and they put a sim card in and activated it no problem. The store was clearly refusing to help because I bought the phone from a third party. They are highly unethical. Avoid at all costs. Seriously go somewhere else! read more

I had read yelp that this was a terrible Verizon location to go to. And the reviewer didn't lie. I was first approached by a young lady and I told her my phone was over heating. She tried to to tell him the phone was over heating because of the battery. Then she handed me over to another young man because her friend she works with was going to start a new line for some man she had helped the day before but didn't want the credit for the new line because she didn't want to help him for some reason. So she had to go talk to her friend in the back which meant she couldn't finish helping me and had to have me over to Dan. He was very nice. Seemed to know what he was doing. But then he ordered me the wrong phone. So I had to call back to have it corrected. I will never go to this store again. Poor customer service. And the ladies that work here are the worst. So rude. Completely unhelpful, Dan a sales associate confirmed that I was scammed by the Verizon store in Cherry Creek mall and he offered to try and help me but basically I could just exchange. So Verizon as a company is absolutely horrible. They lie and scam customers and the ones that don't scam people just shrug their shoulders. I don't recommend this store or this company. I have been a Verizon wireless customer ever since my very first phone. I cannot believe the stupidity I ran into today. I have insurance on my wife's s5. It broke and could not see the screen at all. We took the SIM card out and put it in my old s3 just so she could make calls for now. When I went in to Verizon, I didn't have insurance on her phone now only my old phone because that was the phone the SIM card was in. I am so frustrated with how this worked out. If I have insurance on a phone... it should be on that phone! read more

She is totally knowledgeable about her product line and really went the extra mile to keep me in a price range that was comfortable for me. So unbelievably rude. We will never go there again. I've been a customer for 15 years. Went in because my phone was stuck on the Verizon screen. The woman that "helped" me did not care. She was snotty and talked to me like I was an idiot. Told me I just needed to figure out how to buy a new phone. I asked if they could help me do the factory reboot on my phone and she had to google how to do it. Still couldn't figure it out. Pushed one button and said there was nothing they could do. We went here a couple of days ago to purchase a new phone, it was 4:30 pm when we arrived and they close at 6:00 pm. They made me call my mom to ask permission that it is okay that we were in there buying a new phone then they have to text her a code asking permission. I am a manager on my mom's account but the account is in her name. I think that is a total waste of time. The sales guy was mad that she wasn't answering and just walked away pissed off. She didn't have her phone so I ended up driving back home which took 40 mins to get the code off her phone. They were so worried I wasn't going to be back by 6:00 pm. When I got back they were dicks and didn't seem to want to help with anything and made it very uncomfortable and rushed us out. I am a manager on my mom's account but the account is in her name. Not one sales rep in there was helpful nor nice. Avoid this Verizon location!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Once our contract with Verizon is up we will be switching carriers. read more
