We arrived back in the States on July 5th. In July 6th I went to this location purchased two phones and two additional lines with my own phones. Darryl was great. Well 5 days later AT&T was able to offer me a bundle with DirecTv and season ticket so I signed up with them and went to this location in July 12th to return the two phones I purchased. Paid the ridiculous $50 per phone restocking fee so I was out the $100 in sales tax that would have been refunded. No big deal I guess because I signed the contract. Fast forward to today I have an account in collections for $906 because they insist I haven't returned one of the phones which I have proven to them THREE times now that I did return. The guy I returned the phones to was a complete jerk. He isn't the one who lost any potential commission that was poor Darryl who lost out if that's a thing. At any rate BEWARE!! read more

This is the worst Verizon store in the area. Sold my Dad a bad phone, sold my Mom the wrong charger for her tablet even though she had it in the store with her. They never give straight answers and often tell right out lies. Would not do business with the Hope Mills store. Trust the Verizon corporate store on Skibo Rd. Love Verizon's service. read more

I have to credit another satisfying visit to the Hope Mills Verizon Store. I only shop here because I can always get the help I need and in a timely manner. Last week it was time to upgrade and I had some unique issues with my old phone which seemed to transfer to my new phone. Daniel not only got me a great deal to meet my family's needs, but he went out of his way to fix the unique problems I was having. Poor customer service. I ordered a phone to be delivered to the store and was promised it would arrive in 2-3 business days. On the 3rd business day, I get a notification that the package had only just been shipped. I called Cellular Sales to see what could have caused the hold-up, and they promptly informed me that it's not their problem. I understand that the warehouse they use may have been responsible for this, and I would love to talk to them directly. Unfortunately, the only way I know to get ahold of them would be through Cellular Sales, and the associate there did not seem interested in helping me. I'm extremely dissatisfied with the customer service I've received here. read more

Staff was friendly, informative, and speedy. With the current COVID situation is was nice to have people who were working hard and getting the things we needed. We were able to obtain the items we wanted, the employee made sure everything was transferred and complete and verified we knew how to work our new phone and accessories before we left. Not the biggest on writing reviews, but our agent was so nice and helpful I felt he deserved a 5 star. My mom's phone stopped charging, and no big deal since it's an older phone. If I can go lower than 1 Star, I would! Bottom line, I was lied to regarding a phone I purchased (so I thought). Instead, im financing portions of the phone and it was not a "Promotion", as I was told by the Representative. As a result, my payments increased and I'm out the phone I traded in. I spoke with a Representative today, his attitude was as if I was an inconvenience to him. Ask to speak with a manager and his attitude was very similar. I feel I was ripped off by this Non-Corporate Verizon Retailer. Lastly, I must pay a 50.00 restocking fee, because of their deceptive practice. I'm happy I discovered this in the window to return their phone, with little impact. I hope making a few hundred bucks is worth your morals and integrity? Karma! Everyone, do yourself or your loved ones a favor, find a corporate store to purchase from. read more
