The closest Verizon store to my home is in Little River, SC. I happened by the Shallotte, SC store and it was, to my amazement the best experience I have ever had in a phone sore ever! The credit goes to Anna. She solved problems I knew existed and had been avoiding for months as every attempt to do so was not successful. She solved problems I did not know I even had! I was also appreciative of the store policy regarding everyone wearing a mask, with only occasional exception. I have stopped going to businesses that do not enforce mask wearing and would have missed this wonderful experience had they been lax in this area. I went in for new lines and phones. Verizon had good deals but the store representative completely messed up the set up. I had trade in credit for phones and paid the difference so I should have never had a device charge. come to find out the billing was incorrect in my favor for the first 2 years BUT after 2 years Verizon started charging me for phones I already had paid off. now threatening to cut my phone service off after more than 20 years with them. Went into the storewhen my bill increased by $168 a month and rep in the store said the "guy who sold these to you had been fired" and then he called Verizon's customer service and put me on hold and played on his phone but did nothing to help. I would not advise using this "authorized" store because they lack the knowledge and customer service skills for this type of business. read more

I saw Lori Babson at the Verizon store in Shallotte. She is the best person to see there. She is knowledgeable and helpful in every way. I saw her once before and she was very helpful then as well and I remembered her name. So when I needed a new phone I called ahead to see if she was there thankfully she was in. I told her of my issue she said would call me back after she gave me her personal cell phone number. She did call me back and told me to come to the business and hooked me right up with a phone all I had to do was pick out a phone. My experience was the best. read more

I was in North Carolina on vacation when my old phone starting giving me problems. Since I would be flying home to Los Angeles 3 days later, I needed a new phone. I went to this location and spoke with sales agent, Leldon Love, about buying a new Samsung Galaxy S21+. He showed me the phone and told me my old phone had a trade in value of $400 against the $1000 price of the new phone. I purchased the phone, a wall charger, and case during the transaction. I was told I had 30 days to return my old phone to any Verizon store for the trade in valuation. He was aware that I was from Los Angeles. Long story short, the new phone gave me several problems, it turns out that the old phone had no trade in value without me upgrading to a much expensive unlimited cellphone data package. I have tried to call Leldon several times in the past week on his person cell number as well as the store location phone number. His cell phone voice mail is full and will not accept messages. The store is not answering the phone at all. I am so disappointed that I was misinformed about the trade in of my old phone. Had I known it had no value, I would have gone with a less expensive model for a new phone. read more

If you have a problem don't go try to get it fixed in their store. I just had to get a simple fix (switching SIM cards from my old to new phone) and they charged me 40 dollars to do it. If I had now I would've ordered a 4 dollars SIM card remover off of amazon. The sales person also tried to pressure me into buying overpriced stuff for my phone but I was like sis I don't need your 60 dollar plastic screen protector . Don't go to this store it will save you so much money. read more

My mother was taken complete advantage of in this store. She went into this store for a repair and walked out with a new iPhone 13. Worst part is they sold her a 512gb version without telling her it is the largest and most expensive of the straight iPhone 13. She paid the same price as an iPhone 13 Pro Max. She turned in a 64gb iPhone 8 and obviously would have been fine with a the 128gb (the smallest iPhone 13 storage). They took complete advantage of a 77 year old woman. She just went back in last week to talk to them about how what they did and they didn't even want to engage with her. Told her they don't have a manager so there is nothing they can do. AVOID THIS STORE AT ALL COSTS. read more

They are probably the worst customer care salesmen I have ever met. Arrogant and rude. We had 5 phone numbers on our bill with 2 phone lines. Any question we asked was answered with "I don't know" or "I fixed it". Refused to give any further insight or how he fixed anything. Very rude. read more
