This place promised wife theyd remove her SIM card during a trade in and return it to her - twice. Instead, they sent the phone without doing so and claim they cant retrieve it. This is theft and deceptive marketing. They made what should have been a good experience absolutely miserable. They made no effort to fix the situation. Let me start by saying that the service at the Shrewsbury MA store has been incredible. Both the regional manager as well as the store manager were accommodating. That said, communication with customer service by phone was one of the most frustrating, challenging, and insulting experiences I have ever had. Use caution if switching carriers. it took me over two months to get a $600 refund for a phone that did not have adequate coverage in my area (which I was not informed of ). Customer service reps that I spoke with on the phone lied, were untrained, rude, and or just plain uninterested. Only after connecting with a corporate representative was my situation resolved. Over 2 months. Don't do it! There are other great options out there. read more

He transferred/ recover data to our new phones, my husband had dropped his phone in the water, so it was a little tricky. I walked in and no one assisted me until a group of chatting employees was reminded there was a customer. The man assisting me with getting a new sim card. While helping me, the man was twirling my case-less iphone in his hand. He replaced the sim card himself without explaining his actions and then realized I would need to call the account holder to get my account pin. I couldn't make a call and couldn't activate it because he had already thrown away the old sim card (without asking). I was given the wrong information about how to activate the phone and now am not sure what to do. The man was nice but this store seems poorly trained and poorly supervised. read more

DO NOT GO TO CELLULAR SALES BRANCHES OF VERIZON!!! My husband and I went in during March 2020 to ask about using my phone in a different country. As the customer service person, Matt, looked up our account he said we could upgrade our phones for $120 total. Long story short, he didn't say we would need to finance the new phones which were $1500 for the two. One of our existing phones was paid off and the other had $60 left. We paid the $120 that day but then received the bill for the phones in the mail. Had we known we would have never did that upgrade from the other reviews on here it clear the sales team is dishonest. I will also be looking into consumer protection groups. read more

I would give 0 stars if I could. I came in and asked if I could get a screen protector for my device. The salesman sat down and began putting it on prior to me paying for it. He asks if he can pull up my account, however it's under someone else's name and I didn't know the number. He said "are you sure you don't know it?" Yep, I'm sure. I'd make it easier for both of us and tell you if I did. He then began to ring me out as a new customer. He asks for my home address. I asked him if it was necessary since I was just buying a screen protector. He stated that it's a requirement and that I cannot purchase anything without giving my address. Fine, no problem. I give him the address. He already had the protector on my phone at this point. I try to pay with a debit card, only to have the system say "processing" for over five minutes. He asks two other associates, one of whom ignored him completely and the other who said "she's gonna have to pay cash; not our problem." Well, it was a problem, because I didn't bring cash. He hands me my phone and I notice a chunk of dust under the protector. I told him there was dust, and he said "where are you seeing this dust?" I showed him, so he spends the next ten minutes lifting and repositioning the screen protector. I stated I would feel better putting a new protector on since now he's lifted it several times and he said "it's actually really easy and not a big deal." I said that if I was spending $50 for a protector, that I wanted it on correctly. He ignored me and then proceeded to keep lifting and repositioning the protector. I stated again that I wanted a new protector. He got frustrated and stated "then you're going to have to go get me cash and leave my phone here." At that point, I simply stated "you can take the protector off and I'll go elsewhere." He laughed before taking it off and sarcastically saying "have a great day." It's one thing for him to be rude, but the other associates were also rude. Not only was I uncomfortable with how he was putting the protector on; but he repeatedly ignored me and was incredibly demanding in regards to bringing HIM money. Perhaps he should've waited to put the protector on until after it was paid for, and we could've avoided this whole mess. I wound up going to the AT&T store. They were beyond polite and helped me within moments, even though I'm not a customer of theirs. It's pretty sad when this whole experience makes me consider changing carriers all together. read more

Just know that if you buy a phone there you will be charged $40 by the store. That's how much it costs to shop there. They don't tell you that until you have signed the contract and then give you the store invoice. When I asked what the charge was they told me it was to transfer my contacts over. So they charged me to turn on the phone and then hand me the phone and have me sign in to my google account. $40. I recently discovered the sales woman also added insurance to my plan without telling me and did not adjust the plan like she said she would. I would give it one star but they did help me with other issues with an old phone and were pleasant enough and helpful. read more

We decided to upgrade our three line Verizon family talk/text service to a 6GB shared data plan and bought refurbished phones on-line. After receiving the phones, we went to this store to do the changeover. On Nov 7, a Sunday, we were welcomed into the store, the only customers at the time. We told our service rep our goal and presented the six phones. First issue, he had to call and I had to work with a Verizon service person to change the PW for a site the in-store rep needed to access. I thought that curious but went along. Next, the in-store rep said we'd be charged $20 to transfer our contact lists. Then he said it's be $30 to change the service over in the middle of the billing cycle which made no sense to me and after repeated questioning, he insisted there would be a $30 charge. Finally he said there's be a $5 fee for each SIM card. At that I told him to leave my talk/text plan in place as I was leaving to find another cell service provider. Do not go to this store. Don't even think about going to this store. I later fond out this was not a Verizon corporate store and franchise stores can charge whatever fees they want. I guess "Authorized Dealer" on their sign should've been my clue. Did I mention you shouldn't go to this store? read more

Horrible, horrible experience. Do NOT shop or go to this authorized retail store! They are independent contractors who make up their own rules about special offers, avoid disclosing important information and are not held accountable for any of it. I went to add my daughter to my phone plan and ask about the new iPhones. They said they had 2 and the only difference was one was silver and one was gold. It turned out one was a 64 GB and the other was 256 GB, which costs a lot more! He proceeded to apply screen protectors to them which we thought were part of the deal, because he never asked if we even wanted them, but turned out to be $45 each! He then started to transfer all of our data and not tell us that that was also $45 for each phone. We could've done it ourselves for free! He then told me that our payment was going to be $189 per month and it turned out to be over $250 per month! I went back to the store to complain and was told that it's too bad and it depends on who you work with there whether you get good service or bad service! I said that's crazy and they said that's just the way it is since they are independent "business owners". They all work in a building with the Verizon name on it so someone needs to be responsible!! I originally purchased an iPhone in 9/17 from this store. A couple months ago the battery was dying and I went to the store to see if they could replace the battery and was advised that you can't do that and I didn't need to send in for insurance since I was eligible for an upgrade. I agreed to added monthly charge and purchased additional items including new case/charger/shield. I was given a box to mail in the phone. All good I thought until phone returned saying it was not eligible for upgrade since it had issues (also advising was to pay the remaining phone fees). The sales representative obviously didn't understand the rules and I received the run around by both the Staff, Manager, and their Corporate office. Verizon provided a partial credit but directed me to Cellular Sales. They also advised that battery in phone could have been replaced avoiding this whole issue. I made numerous calls and visits only to learn that the Store doesn't care about Verizon customers. I suggest if you have Verizon, search out a Corporate store and not this or any Cellular Sales Store. I plan to advise everyone of the bad faith customer service. read more

I was given a lot of misinformation. The store and it's employees represent themselves as Verizon. THIS IS NOT VERIZON! If there is a problem you cannot go to Verizon and the store is not helpful. Purchased 3 phones, 2 Iphones 6Plus and a Android. Every phone had to be replaced with in 4 months. and 1 replaced 2 times. I'm not sure if there is a way to check the manufacture date maybe this is the issue. One phone was refurbished and we were not told until there was a problem. The insurance plan is not a verizon insurance, this was not clarified. I asked what it was not on my bill as when previous phones purchased, the rep said they don't do it that way anymore. I would also have to say Verizon is part of this mis representation. When you walk in the store you would think you were actually at Verizon. They charged me $30 plus $16 in taxes for a phone I could have bought at a Verizon corporate for FREE. I thought I was paying the $30 upgrade activation fee but they said no. That fee will be on my next bill. So, in essence, I paid $76 for a phone that would have cost me just $30 ( activation fee) at the Verizon corporate store. When I asked why, they said they don't have to offer the same prices as Verizon. STAY AWAY FROM THESE GUYS. They don't return phone calls or texts yet they brag about their top notch customer service and say it is better than Verizon. I guess they also do comedy.
