the sales person lied to me about having the ability to charge accessories to my account, told me all Verizon have that policy-corporate or not. she told me Verizon doesn't sell Belkin anymore and that my discount was military discount was 10 percent. all of which was a lie. my suggestion is to only work with corporate stores read more

Definitely don't buy a pure gear screen protector from these guys. When it breaks the store won't fix it, you half to jump thru hoops with pure gear and it's a giant pain in the rear. I ended up just throwing away the screen protector that was broke. They kinda sold it to me under false pretenses, saying they would throw a new one on if I signed up for the warranty. They failed to mention the hours of work it would take to get the screen protector warranted and then the long wait to get the new screen protector. To bad you can't trust anything people tell you anymore. Won't shop at this store again :/ read more

They helped me get my new phone. It took some time, but it's part of the process. I chatted with the service member while waiting, and often let her step aside to help others while we were waiting. I witnessed how some customers treated the employees there, and I was amazed at the poor behavior of some customers. One guy stepped in the door, looked around and expressed his unreasonable disdain and left. He couldn't be bothered to wait more than ten seconds upon arriving. I was grateful for the service that I received. I saw the reviews before coming, and I'm glad I chose to give them an opportunity to serve. read more

My cell phone suddenly quit working so I stopped in this Verizon store seeking assistance. The young man yesterday (6/3/23) around 4pm who helped me fix it was so professional and efficient I was back on the road in five minutes. Kudos, Ontario Verizon! Useless store!!! They don't answer there phones ever when I went in right after they opened they had employees just walking around yet somehow none of them can answer a phone? Then when I asked for a SIM card. There "all out". That's the bread and butter of iPhones how the heck are you just out? And the closest store that may have them is 40 min away.. I hate the local Verizon service and won't do anything here I'll just go threw the carrier. Don't waste your time unless your buying a phone that's all they care about is the money. Quoted me a price on a phone then added extra charges on my bill. They say they explained this to me which they didn't. My nephew was there and he agrees with me. Can't recommend this place. They are liers and crooks trying to take advantage of a senior citizen. Verizon was no help. They say they have no control over what this store does. read more

Went to this Verizon store to purchase a new iPhone. On the first visit the representative informed me that they were sold out of the iPhone I wanted but if I left my information, they would be getting a new order in a day or two and he would call. No call. I called in to check on the status, they informed me they got in a shipment and now had the phone I desired. Juan offered to hold the phone for me until I came to pick it up that day. One hour later I arrived at the store only to find out that Juan did not reserve the phone, and it was sold! Terrible experience. read more

I went to this Verizon store yesterday in Ontario, Oregon on Idaho Avenue. The main store down there. I purchased a flip cell phone. Set the whole thing up paid for it all in cash including the first months use. The box was unopened when the sales person gave it to me. He told me it was fully charged and all set to go. However, I wanted to check to see if the charger was also in the box. So he opened the box for me. We pulled the phone out still in it's clear plastic holder. The charger was there. We didn't even take the whole thing out of the box. Slid it back into the box. Then the sales person gave it to me. I got ready to leave. There was no sound of anything hitting the desk as heavy as a battery would be. In fact no sound at all of anything falling and hitting the desk. The desk was clean and clear when I left. Got home the phone would not turn on. Thought it needed charging. Plugged it in to charge. Started to set up a MY VERIZON ACCOUNT. It told me I could not because it was pending. So I spoke to a rep. online. They tried to assist. had me open the back of the phone to get a number off the battery. So I did. Mmmmmm.....NO BATTERY! Trying to make a long story short, I kept getting told by many people at Verizon that the battery was somewhere in the box and to keep looking for it. HA! NOTHING IN THE BOX! Then asked them if they could send me a new battery? I just purchased the phone the day before. Less than 14 hours. One rep said to go back to the store and exchange the phone for another (another 2 hour drive?). But when I called the store I was told that once the box was opened anything missing was not their responsibility once I left the store. Huh? Even the battery? So I would have to purchase a battery. By the way they don't even sell them, I have to go online and purchase one. So after spending a fortune on the phone getting it set up and activated and paying for the first month. I have no phone to use and it seems no recourse. However, those who know me know that I will always find recourse. This is the first step. Anyone living in this area and is thinking of going to the Verizon store at 1671 East Idaho Avenue, Ontario, Oregon. Don't. Please share this so other people will not have the same problems. I also would like to say, once I found the store online they did not have many if any good reviews. So this review will not be their first bad one. Save yourself time and aggravation and stay away from that store! read more

My son went to purchase a SIM Card for his new to him phone yesterday. He showed the phone to the associate who sold him a SIM Card for $10 telling him it was the correct one. We attempted to activate the phone with Verizon and repeated got the message, "SIM Card Locked". Verizon told us he had been sold the wrong card and ordered a new one mailed to us at no charge. He returned to the store today to return the card along with all packaging and his receipt. The same associate as yesterday told him, "Sorry dude, it's not my problem. All SIM Card sales are final". He tried to get my son to give him the account password so he could activate the already activated phone and I refused to give it up. The associate, who continued to be rude and condescending, then kept the SIM Card and refused to return it or give my son a refund. We will meet with the manager tomorrow and see if we can get this resolved. Perhaps most of their customers just accept this level of disservice, but not us. read more
