I received my phone without issues but the salesman misrepresented some things. I was charged $40 for set up without knowing this. (I have never paid for set up anywhere so didn't expect it.) Also was told of a TV streaming offer but not told it was it was the lower version with ads. When I was at the store to cancel this, it was never done. I had to call Verizon and pay the first month. When my grandson ordered his phone he did not receive the trade-in credit due him for several months due to the mishandling of the order by the salesman. Luckily the customer service representative on the phone was helpful with that. I still recommend Verizon, just not a franchise store. read more

This is my first negative review: Plaistow, NH Verizon store DOES NOT FOLLOW PROPER COVID-19 PROTOCOL and the employees all appear extremely unprofessional. I was greeted by a salesman upon entering but both my friend and I were having difficulty hearing him because although we were the only customers in the store, there was a group of 4 or 5 employees huddled around us laughing and joking extremely loud without a care other than socializing with each other, including the salesman who we put out of his way to interrupt his party time. We asked him several times why our bill hasn't decreased after our phones were paid off. He had no interest in looking into it other than stating "hmmm, you must've gotten some promotions", " good news is you are both eligible for over55 discounts" and " the old people are the ones with all the money ". HUH??? We finally stated "we keep asking you the same question and you are not answering our question, to which he replied, "well, you're shooting questions at me. Take your phones and go to T Mobile across the street or any other Verizon store, just go, Get out...Bye...I'm calling the police...bye". We went elsewhere and were helped within minutes with the correct information. Purchased our new phones/ accessories. Easy for us as well as other store. Gentleman at Hampstead location is educated in his job as well as respectful. He also followed proper virus protocol, unlike the plaistow store. I just don't understand how a business owner either allows his business to run like the circus I walked into or is so out of the loop of what's going on in his own business. His employees should learn that everyone is replaceable as well as every business can be brought down by bad employees. Plaistow store needs education in proper COVID-19 precautions (they had masks on and I wasn't as worried that nobody was wearing gloves as I am that he neglected to wipe down phones and was touching our phones after touching two other manhandled phones...ewww) as well as customer service and the difference between a place of employment vs. a college dorm room. T mobile and Hampstead Verizon seems to already know what Plaistow Verizon doesn't know. I had to go back the next day because I was having trouble figuring out something on my phone and Ludwin was there ready to help and I was in and out in two minutes. Awful customer service. Have gone to this store since I got an iPhone in 2013 and will never step foot in this store again. Went to upgrade my iPhone 7 to the X, was told I was not allowed to leave the store with both phones & I needed to leave the 7 with the sales rep (Mike) for policy purposes & a month later got a $160 no return fee. Store/managers will not help me at all, told me they would never ask me to leave my iPhone there and they believe their sales rep. over me when he claims he never took my phone from me. And when I asked them to watch back the security cameras to see that I, indeed, did leave the phone there, they said their cameras only go back less than a month..... hmm a technology store.... that only has camera film for less than a month...... seems legit! I usually only post reviews on food however I needed to post a review on the Verizon store in plaistow NH. To be honest I have been a Best Buy guy for all my phones. The employee I worked with left BB so my wife and I decided to go local to Verizon. Ronnie was the associate we dealt with and he was amazing. Very easy to work with, very upfront, polite and extremely knowledgeable about the phones and watches we wanted. We came out with 2 new phones, our older phones transfered to our kids and 2 new cellular watches. He set them all up, explained them and we left with no questions. I would recommend Ronnie to all my friends and family and will do that!!! read more

They will lie to you to get a sale. I was told that the insurance I purchased would cover a new phone and that I would only need to pay the Activation Fee. I had the Rep named "Johnathan" also known as "John-O" repeat this to me a few times so that I was very clear. Today I needed to use the insurance to get a new phone and they are now attempting to charge me a 149 dollar deductible PLUS the Activation Fee. This Rep false advertized to me to get a sale. So I switched from T mobile to Verizon a few months ago, brought over my own phone ( iPhone 6) thinking I'd get better service and a lower bill. Really didn't get either, but really didn't care all that much. Well anyways 2 weeks ago my iPhone 6 died so I went to the Verizon in Plaistow. I couldn't remember my pin, so they told me they couldn't help me there and to go to the corporate store in epping. So I drove over there, and got an iPhone 7. They have a 2 week return policy, so on Sunday I decided I'd exchange it for the 8. I drive down to Plaistow again, seeing if they could do it. The employee told me that I had to again, go to a corporate location and they couldn't help me. So now I'm not really sure the point of this location. I went in there 2 separate times for 2 different reasons and they still couldn't do a thing for me and turned me away. So you know what I did , that's right, I drove across the street; and switched to T mobile that night on the spot. T mobile has the best customer service and better reception then Verizon. Plus t mobile has a way better military discount. So I dropped Verizon, and went back to t mobile. T mobile even paid off my phone and gave me 100 towards my new iPhoneX. So Verizon, you guys suck. Worst service ever. Went there for help with phone not working properly. A factory reset needed to be done, but first the phone contents needed to be backed up. I did not know how and asked for their help. The rep. helping me checked the phone and said everything was backed up and proceeded with the factory reset. After the reset, all our pictures were gone, they had not been backed up after all. Our 300 photos were gone. So upsetting, and they don't care. Also not 1st bad experience at this store. Also saw another customer walk out very upset with customer service after purchasing new phone. I think they have a lot of unhappy customers. I am so upset about lost of photos, I will never go there again and do not reccomend them at all. Go to Verizon in Salem, NH at the Rockingham Mall, they are a corporate store and can help customers much better. read more

I was looking for ways to try to save money on my plan which has been exhorbitant so I popped over there today. I have been in the store before and I've had mixed results depending on what rep I got. Some are good and a few are rude and unhelpful. I told the man I would like to remove the iPad from my plan as I wasn't using it. He told me I had to call customer service to do that. I said you guys added it here why can't you remove it? He said we are a sales store here! When I got home and called the 800 customer service line the representative said he could have just easily done it in the store! Needless to say I won't be going back! read more

I was in and has switched my in-laws over to my plan to help save them and upgrade and also got a hum for them.... Sent everything down to them and the HUM didn't work ( they live in FL ) so they sent it back. I was told return time was only 14 days.. spoke with other verizon wireless stores and told it was 45days and still with in time frame. Also called Verison directly and was told the 45 day time frame as well. Plus changes were made to my account and I was over charges for services.... Then I was speaking with a Verizon rep yesterday ( cs) and they advised me that the manager of the Plaistow store was in my acount when I didn't give him any authorization so that tells me he kept my PIN to monitore my account... NOT HAPPY... That is a violation of privacy. read more

My older Aunt went to get some way to improve my Uncle's phone service at the care facility he is in. The sales man gave her a "free" wireless phone booster, with a two year contract. My Uncle did not find it useful and she asked me to return it. Was told by the sales associate that there would be a $50. restocking fee on the free item after 14 days. (She had been sick and was unable to get to the store to return the item sooner.) Way to take advantage of an elderly couple. Would give less stars if able. read more

The most horrible customer service ever! I bought a Moto Z2 force 3 months ago only to have the actual phone screen peel off the actual device. Motorola was no help since they are in the Philippines and were closed and the US support line wanted to charge me for a "like new " device. The manager was hasty in telling me they can't and won't be able to do anything for me. I asked him to call customer service for me so we could see if there was a possible resolution and he flat out said "No, because they aren't going to help you either". As appalled as I was, I continued to call Verizon customer service myself. The same manager said repeatedly to me I obviously don't understand that they won't be able to do anything for me and I needed to leave or he was calling the police! He was clearly annoyed that I wasn't taking no for an answer and that since my phone screen was curled up at the ear piece I could only use my speaker phone, so there were customers that could hear what was happening. The manager called the police and antagonistically told me fair warning the cops are coming. I said ok, and continued sitting in the same chair waiting on hold for them to show up. The arriving officers had no idea why they were even there. How humiliating and embarrassing this was to be escorted out by officers for sitting waiting on hold for a resolution for my phone. I can understand if I was being disrespectful, belligerent, or causing a scene, but I literally was sitting in the chair up front on hold with customer service. It's disgusting how I was treated! Even today when I called to get the General managers name the same employee refused to provide me with information! So needless to say I've reached out to the Better Business Bureau, Consumer affairs, the Attorney General's office and have spoken to and been interviewed by 4 local news stations. I've also obtained a lawyer since my rights were violated!! It's his manager obviously missed his class on customer service and clearly doesn't understand that he himself is also legally responsible for his actions and the laws he broke. read more

SCAMMED by a "FREE TABLET"!!! At this location they are only concerned with making a sale, rather than customer satisfaction. My girlfriend and I went shopping for a new phone, and were excited to take advantage of the "free tablet" promotion the salesmen introduced us to. We didn't even have to do anything, just buy the phones, and the tablets come free! What a deal right? Well, it turns out that is not the case, and there is nothing "free" about them. After receiving my first bill, I noticed each tablet had a 10$ per month charge, and that I was locked into a two year contract with both! When I went back to the store to inquire about this charge, I was told I would have to cancel within 14 days. I didn't even see my bill until a month later! How was I supposed to know I was being ripped off within 14 days? I was told each tablet would carry a 175$ early termination charge (which is ultimately still cheaper than paying 10$ a month for the next 2 years), but you'd think this information is something the salesmen would have mentioned at some point. I have felt take advantage by phone companies in the past, but this is the first time I feel like I was downright lied to, and had information withheld from me in order for them to make a sale. The manager on duty could offer no resolution whatsoever, and had no problem turning away an unsatisfied customer. I haven't decided if I will take the hit and deal with the early termination fee, in order to find a new phone carrier as quickly as possible, or if I will wait until the contract is up and find a new supplier then. I just wanted to be able to share my experience, and hopefully save someone else the 600$ my "free tablet" is going to end up costing me. read more
