Alex at Verizon is new! You would have no idea he was, best customer service I have received in a long while. Went in to go over the possiblity of changing my account. What happened to the phone we turned it ....they were sending it in for us to get credit...no credit....no answers. Avoid this place, they did not tell us the truth or make it clear what the deal was and offers no answer when we asked for them. Cost us over $600....never again. Would give a negative if available . Wanted to turn off an older tablet in order to give it to someone. Was told by Rubin that I needed to call the 611 number and deal with it that way. Called 611 the minimum time wait was 41 minutes . Called back to Rubin as asked if the store or he could help. No. You want to buy something and you have to beat the salespersons away . Had no problem with the customer service however they add charges for phone upgrades that the corporate stores do not. Paid almost $300 to upgrade my kids phones and wasn't charged a dollar when I stopped at the corporate store by the mall to upgrade my boyfriends line. read more

I stopped into the store to either replace or use the damaged device promotion offered by Verizon to upgrade my phone. The Sales Associate (Reuben) had no clue that this promotion existed. When Reuben found the promo (on his computer) and read the requirements, he insisted that I had to prove to him that I could do certain functions on my device, even though the promotion did not ask for that. Reuben told me that he couldn't give me the promotion unless I could wipe my phone from the touchscreen that's damaged. I explained to him (several times as the damaged device trade-in requirements were on his screen) that the promotion offered by Verizon did not require me to prove I could use my screen. He wouldn't budge so I walked out. In my opinion, Reuben does not understand the promotions or requirements for Verizon but was quick to restate the requirement from what he understood the promotion or policy to be anyway. It's my hope that someone educates him on this issue instead of allowing him to continue to suggest that the customer read the fine print. As you know, you do not need to use your touch screen to perform a factory reset. Also, you wouldn't be able to factory reset from your touch screen if it was inoperable. I'm not sure if Reuben is/was aware even though he works at the store. I found the trade-in requirements for this promotion using a simple search on the Verizon website. It's the same information that Reuben had on his screen. Had he taken me through the upgrade process, he would have received the same information again. I needed to replace my 5+ year old phone. I actually just stopped by just to look at the phone and see the actual size. I knew Cellular Sales was just an authorized retailer but they were close to my home. Christine was wonderful. She bent over backwards to get me the best price both on my new phone and on a new plan, better than the Corporate Store. I would highly recommend working with her. read more

2nd time I went to this shop to ask for help on a device they sold me. Both times I was treated like I was a bother. Guess if they already sold something to you, they owe you no further customer service. The guys I dealt with both times brushed me off. First guy said he didnt know about the device and ignored me when another customer walked in. Second guy did what I asked but went so fast that I asked for him to show the steps slower. He seemed annoyed and was huffing and texting on his cell, probably complaining to someone. Ive been to Verizon stores in other cities and wasnt treated like a nuisance.
