If one of their batteries goes bad before the warranty, the new "replacement" they "give" you is only covered for the time the original battery was. How dumb is that?! So, if I replace a battery at 11 months into the 12 month warranty and then the new one goes bad in, say, two months, then you're screwed. Why is the new battery not good for a year? That is f'n stupid and shady af! The reason is because its an inferior product and they know it. The lithium Ion batteries I replaced the interstates with after this debacle have an 11 year warranty on them and weigh about 1/4 the weight Interstate batteries do. Hey, Interstate, stand by your product like you mean it. Since I learned that this is STANDARD practice at Interstate, I will tell everyone I know that their money will go further elsewhere. I stopped by today because both of our vehicles quit! I purchased two batteries for our FORD diesel, and returned them because my husband wanted me to go to the FORD place since his batteries were just purchased in April. Patrick was amazing. He returned the batteries with a smile He checked my car and confirmed it was the battery. He then installed a new one and sent me on my way. The price for the battery and installation was at least 75.00 cheaper than the price the Honda dealership quoted me! And he did it all with a smile in this 105 degree heat! Mark and his brother, Patrick, are heroes to our family. In addition, they are caring and friendly people. My wife and I can't thank each of them enough. We had a front tire explode while driving our RV to Phoenix. Luckily we just got off I-8 and slowed to 45 mph. The blow out caused over $17,000 of damage to the RV. Five days after the accident I went to check the fluid levels four (each weighing 125 pounds) L-16 batteries in the RV. Two of the batteries took 23 bottles (16.5 oz) of distilled water. Two batteries were hot on the outside battery case. Mark and Patrick were able to get four new batteries to me within 3 days (including the weekend). We would never have been able to get these batteries so fast from any other business in Yuma. Interstate Battery is a life saver. I was having a problem with a large cable on my motorhome, so I went to Interstate Battery on 24th and 3E and spoke to Patrick about it, and we ordered parts , well the parts never arrived , but Patrick came to where I had my coach parked and with a crimping tool was able to repair my cable without the ordered parts, he went above and beyond to get me back up and running , service like this is so rare.
