Their home internet is absolutely atrocious. It's the 21st Century and they provide internet connection akin to original dial up. Crashes, lagging, terrible upload and download, the works. The fact they call it "home internet" is laughable. I know hotspots from other phone carries that provide more stable connection. Please skip and use fiber optic, hard wired ISPs. You get what you pay for, trust me. read more

While three employees are just walking around in the store and one helping someone. Still patiently waiting for my turn. Another couple walk in and I get told I will be after them. I need to change my cell phone number to my personal account after leaving my previous job so I came to this Verizon store to do so. You walk in and you have to put your name in and wait for the next availabgle Verizon associate. I waited for about 15 minutes and was helped. I don't remember the gentleman who helped me but he definitely knew everything there is to know about Verizon's service plans and phones. He helped me make a few decisions regarding my plan. I left feeling good instead of frustrating like I have been with Verizon in the past. All in all, nothing beats some one on one cell phone service guidance and this store definitely delivers on that front. read more

I had to make a quick stop to get a SIM card for my new iPad Pro. My family went through the drive-through down the street, and I was hoping to get my visit finished by the time my family got back over to me with the food so we could get back on the road. When I walked in, there was a little wait, and I got a little worried. I told the employee that I was on the road and in a hurry and not a few minutes later, I was being seen and walked out the same time my family pulled up. The service was amazing. So polite and respectful. The employee made small talk, but not too much where it would waste my time. The employee that I dealt with was the store manager. He was a college student but very mature for his age. Great experience, highly recommend. read more

This was my worst phone shopping experience, ever. My boyfriend, who is far more tolerant than I, waited 5 steps after getting out of the store before saying 'well he was forceful." Upon entering I was optimistic. We were greeted by 2 seated employees who made a joke about the weather, and I like jokes. From that point forward, however, it was all disappointment. They remained seated for a long while as I browsed the dummy phones. I asked about features and explained my main goal was longer battery life, and a better phone without upgrading to one of the new nearly-tablet sized devices. Not only was I told that the new size wasn't that much bigger (it is to me), but was told that all phones have the same battery life. It depends on useage, etc. Well, I know it depends on usage, but if you drive a car with better gas mileage or a larger tank at the same speed as a lesser car, you are still going to get further between refills. While they may boil down to 2-6 hours at most, there is still a difference, and I want to know about it. Now this is not like a proper verizon store - most of the phones have no functionality - you can look at the size, shape and color of the phones, and get no feel for how they work. Not to worry, I was told, they have 4 phones on the other wall, one of each make, and they all work exactly the same. He, infact, claimed that the motorola I was using had the same home screen and function style as the new one. Wrong again. Completely different style. But of course he still claimed it was really close. What about processor speed, what about differences in the size of the typing screen that comes up during text messages and internet browsing, which in some cases can obscure the whole screen and eliminates what you are trying to read or the box you are trying to fill in? My concerns were of no interest - he had demo phones that were just like their sister models. Finally, I asked about differences between the Samsung Galaxy 4 and the Samsung Galaxy 4 mini... He said there were no differences. Same phone, just smaller. Well, a few seconds of reviewing online had let me to understand that the mini had an 8 MP camera compared with the 4's 13 MP camera... That sounds like a difference. So I said 'what about the cameras' - 'oh' he says 'the mini has an 8mp camera, and the 4 has 13mp, but you can't tell the difference. MP just refer to the zoom level.' 'Unless you wanted to print something with reasonable definition' I said. 'well, yeah, if you were printing, but there really is no difference otherwise.' This was probably the 4th time I felt my skin crawl and tried to make a 'thank you' exit - but was accosted and challenged with questions of 'well what research are you going to do? what sites will you browse? You can't trust most reviews because people only write them to complain." Basically, my skills of making sense of the internet were challenged in the face of his wonderful service skills and advice. I finally just kept walking to the door despite his unwillingness to let us leave without further abuse. Apparently he was the store manager. The other agent seemed nice enough, but was overshadowed by his forceful, arrogant, unhelpful manager. I can't believe anyone with that lack of common sense and intellect rose to a management position. We went to the nearby proper verizon store to actually test phone features, and I couldn't even put my name in for service - I was in shell shock and didn't want to interact with anyone - I just wanted to look at the phones in peace! read more

This location has the best selection of accessories and the most helpful staff. Went in to get my mom a new phone and they helped me out with some things for my phone as well. Caleb was super awesome, set up a Bluetooth speaker for us, reset everything for my moms new phone, and was so patient and friendly. Will definitely be back because of the awesome customer service we received. Caleb needs a raise ;) read more

Wish I could give 0 stars! The manager who works there is one of the rudest people I've ever met! Just walking in he had an attitude was lying to me about my phone order and told me I was stupid and didn't know what I was talking about after an hour of trying to reason with him all to activate my new phone, I decided I didn't want his help and that I was going to leave and upon leaving I was cussed at. Not a pleasant experience, if you need to go to a Verizon save your time and frustration by going to the one on Madison Ave. quick service and NICE people. I have had Verizon for over 20 years and have never experienced worse customer service. I feel obligated to let any prospective Verizon customer know the experience that we have received from this establishment, in particular Dan and Tasha, is beyond unsatisfactory. The blame game is all I have received from the management staff from their previous employee who helped us transition to our new phones. Over the past four months and many promises, we have dealt not only with the staff at this location, but also the corporate office and we are still battling our transition with our new phones. My family has had phones from Verizon for the last 15 years. We have 7 lines and have never had a problem. We went to purchase new cases and screen protectors for our phone and the general manager, Jessica, was the rudest person I've ever dealt with. I've had bad customer service experiences but this one takes the cake! She rolled her eyes, said 'don't get an attitude with me', said we could just leave the store, and we told her how long we've been with Verizon and she said 'I don't care!' How does someone this rude and unprofessional get a general manager job anywhere? My parents might stay with Verizon but I will never go back! I will be switching to Sprint! read more
