We recently came over from AT&T for reasons I won't speak to. Justin was our rep, he is outstanding, I cannot speak highly enough of his service and patience. My son drove in from AR to do this transfer, Justin stayed an hour past his normal quitting time to assist us. My son was a former employee of the above mentioned company so we knew what we needed and wanted but Justin made it even easier. In fact, I had an issue and had to go in the next day and another rep assisted me. Then I stopped in the following day and every rep there took the time to speak to me. The store manager should be extremely proud of their team. You are obviously doing something right. I am in sales so I don't throw out praise lightly. The DEI hire that tries in vain to keep up with the rest of the staff is rude, ugly and disgusting in the way she speaks to white men because she apparently has some chip on her shoulder about something. I took my mother's phone to this location to get assistance. She's very old and I am her p.o.a. I drove 45 minutes to this location because when I called them they said they could help me in their store. Instead I was handed a peace of paper with a email and phone number. Something they could have told me over the phone. I basically wasted time and gas going there. The man I spoke to was rude, loud,irritable and impatient when I asked him questions. I think he may have been a manager because he was bossing other employees around while I was being waited on. I felt like I was at the DMV, or the social security office. It was the same cold unfriendly vibe you would feel in a government building. His coworker just sat there watching the whole interaction with the same cold indifference. I left feeling attacked and frustrated. I decided to switch my mother's phone service to another company.If I could pick less than one star I would have. So let's start with. If I could not give a star or half of one I would. When you call any Verizon store your bombarded with ten minutes of s$:t press one if you want to revive a coupon. Then you get do you watch tv? Do you so and so and so. It's just stupid. Verizon Apple know they have people by the balls so why make it easy. You want to talk to a person who most likely is standing in the store doing jack S$&t anyways or on his phone talking to some girl. So my problem. You call. You don't get anywhere fast. It's jumping through hoops. One time I would wish these idiots that run these companies call their own help line. Piss on them. New to Verizon and I stopped by to get a little help on my account. You can feel when a person has very little concern about an issue you're having. That's how I felt during my visit. The guy that helped me was nice but did very little to look into the issue I was having. An issue the the phone rep told me that could be taken care of in store. I am a visitor out of town and did my research on what Verizon store was in my area that was not permanently closed according yo Apple Maps. I arrived 1 hour and 30 min before it was posted to close. Unfortunately, the store was closed. The website said 7 p.m. and the front entrance glass doors said 7 p.m. When I arrived, there was a lady waiting at the door trying to assistance and another customer showed up and thought it closed at 7 p.m. per the website. This is unsatisfactory. Verizon needs to ensure their marketing department is keeping their information current. read more

I have not been to this location in a very long time but when I lived in Belleville this was my go to store. I had a phone problem when I was up for a visit a couple of years ago and I panicked. I went right to the store and they helped me quickly with a very simple solution. I realize that with new management and new employees things can change but my experience was always good. I have been a Verizon customer since I got my first cell phone in 1996 and have the same number. Hope others have had a good experience. read more

If you need to activate your phone and you own it outright, DO not and I repeat DO not activate the phone in the store. You will be charged a $35 activation fee and the Verizon associates will refuse to waive. Also, customer service will not waive it. You will have to contact customer service to receive a reduced activation fee or a waived fee. read more

I made an appointment via the web for 12:30pm, then I receive a text msg confirming my appointment for 6:00pm. WTH? So I get online and make another appointment for 12:30pm, then receive a txt msg confirming my appointment for 5:30pm. Now I'm upset and confused, so I call the local store phone number and get caught in automated phone system Hell. They simply don't want to talk to you. **Previous review** They get the job done... Eventually. There's more people walking around to put you in queue than there are people actually helping customers. I don't know if their system is just slow or if they have to think about what to do. Help! This is the worst store experience ever! There is not enough seating however there is plenty of room they just do NOT have enough chairs. There was only 4 people working and one person to taking names. We are not Verizon customers but we were looking to change from AT&T. However this is our second time in here because they are always behind. It's crazy because this is supposed to be the corporate store. Very disappointed in this place and store! Will not be back will consider going to sprint before coming back to this store! Horrible customer service! We had to walk up to the person taking names. Just all around a horrible experience. Good customer service, but pretty slow. The staff at this location helped me move over 4 lines from T-Mobile. The sale took about two hours, which was way too long. The staff were friendly and helped the time go fast. My monthly bills are what the sales staff said it would be and I haven't had any unexpected charges. read more

DO you know: That for one of Verizon's, "Play More" "Do More" or "Get More" plans you will pay $ 1,018.00 per year (includes activation fee of $40.00) {BTW this does not include the cost of the phone} This Means that in a regular year (52 weeks) at 40 hours per week working =2080 working hours per year. You will pay about .50 cents per every hour you work at what ever job you have. So just subtract .50 cents ($20.00 per week) from your hourly wage. (remember, not counting the phone cost). NOW to the point. ANDREW who pretends to work at the Fairview Heights, IL store I say "pretends" because he does just a good of a job as a robot could do, well maybe I complement him just a little. I know his type. Looks busy all of the time, always polite, has a smile, clothes clean, neat appearance, and absolutely zero problem solving skills and extremely poor listening ability. Salesman mike laws was great! Helped me figure out what I needed. Set appt. For 1pm, he was in the middle a a big order, but he stopped to help me rather than make me wait. Only gripe is he did not tell me about the activation fee at the beginning. To late, had to agree to it. But I am still satisfied with the sale. read more

I purchase an I-Pad at this location and was told that I was getting $100 off if I purchased a bluethooth speaker which I did and then also purchased $300 worth of extras only to get home a realize the store sold me the store just sold me the outdated verzion and then charged me for the speaker to make up the difference that the new verzion was hoping to make me believe that I was paying for the new verzion and getting something free only to find out I was lied to and then charged for something that I didnt even as for. I called the store the next day and told them what had happened and they said they were sorry and I could just come in and exchange it for the correct verzion and it would be no big deal and then when I got to the store I was told I had to pay for the upgrade and if I didnt like that answer I could return the I-Pad but they were now going to charge me $70 re-stocking fee!! I dont know how a place could charge me for catching them trying to cheat me? I wish I could give them 0 stars. We were lied to and completely taken advantage of. They told us we would be bought out of our other contract. Now they are not doing that. I now owe them as well as ATT for my phones. Staff member Sheila has no idea what she is talking about and then manager Greg did not fix the mistakes. ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE SERVICE!!!! Waited for over an hour just to speak to someone, talked to three managers, just need a quick 5 minute change on our service plan... The managers were completely rude and not courteous in the slightest... No ability to multi task or even show the slightest notion of giving a shit about the people here. The I spoke to one of the 3 "managers" that can't even help customers and they just told me where I was in the line and continued to chat amongst each other. After three to four service personnel finished with their customers they went in the back and as the door opened five or six times they were just eating and hanging out... With a lobby full and about ten to twelve people on the waiting list..... Worst customer service I have ever experienced in my entire life read more
