Customer Service from VZ Rep Lexi is the rudest! The hate she has for older people was palpable. I came in to get a new phone but after she snapped at me twice, I declined her offer and left. And told her she was rude to which she responded with more vitriol. I'm going to cancel my VZ account. I pay Way Too Much to be treated like that by anyone. Especially a hateful Gen Z'er. Been a loyal customer to verizon for 20+ years. Needed help with my phone because i was hacked. The hacking took place for several months. Your Employee some girl with dark hair and chubby. Was rude and was not truing to listen. One of those that thought knew everything before you can get out a word. Its a shame to use a carrier so long they crap on you. Worst company/store ever. Had no problem releasing a line off of my phone plan without my permission and sticking me with the 400$ bill on it. But when I went in to get a new SIM card for my phone because it was hacked they needed my ID to provide me with a new SIM card. I left my ID at home not thinking I would need it because they have always used my two factor authentication to send me a communication when I am in the store to verify who I am. Why wasn't a license asked for when you released a line from my policy but need a license to get me a new SIM card that I can complete myself? We came in for a mo Ike hotspot a few weeks back. We got what we needed. After helping us the associate said he could sell us a screen protector that would be guaranteed. They said that it would be replaced for free it is was cracked of broken. I was hesitant but thought well it's free so it should be fine. Fast forward a few months. I have a little chip and a crack in the screen protector. I went into the store to have them help me. I was informed that the screen warranty was through the Zagg company. I would have to contact them and have them send me one out. I also would have to prove to them that I purchased a zagg screen protector. I was also supposed to register the screen protector with them when I bought it. I feel like it's just another example of them getting you to buy stuff while providing the least amount of service. If there was a network with more coverage I would we gone. Just know if you buy something from them they have no intention of being there for you after the fact. read more

Bought a jet pack internet device for our new home. The salesman promised it would work just as well as any other internet provider. It never worked!!! And we can't return it plus we have a two year contract for 20$ a month for the jet pack that doesn't work. This location is always busy, and the wait takes for ever, the store manager is completely unable to help with issues and refers you to the 1-800 number which had offered the worst customer service ever. I am working on paying off my contracts and switching service. To a company that gives me better service, better perks and a way better price. They charge 2 to 3 times as much as other carriers and cant even use lubes when they screw you. Will be so glad when I am done with this company. read more

Our granddaughter had her phone repaired and was unable to use it. It required a new sim card and we knew that we had to make an appointment in order to go in and have it fixed. We were in the area and thought that we would take a chance to have it fixed. When we arrived, the store manager, Dillion was out front and taking names for appointments. When I got out of the car, I was using my cane, he immediately came over to the car to assist me. I told him our dilemma and he immediately took care of it. He was very kind, courteous, and friendly. Our granddaughter was thrilled to be able to use her phone again so quickly. We were very appreciative. We do not have Verizon, but when we are ready to switch we will go back to Verizon because of the excellent help and service we received. read more

I went in to purchase two accessories and have them billed to my account. The manager checked me in and was very unhelpful and I stood at the counter to purchase items for over 20 minutes and ended up just walking out when another employee came up and said I needed to move and wait somewhere else to be helped. Told her I just wanted to purchase items and she ignored me and went and talked with another customer. I was better off calling customer service and having items shipped to me. They told me to leave and call again and treated me very rudely when I asked why I couldn't just set up an appointment while I was there. They lie about the coverage, I get really horrible service on the east side of town near the mall. When I went in to the 17th street store they were very rude. Their attitude was "it is what it is" my whole family has had this issue, when we were on T-Mobile this was not an issue. When switching to Verizon using the same phone it was not good coverage. She pushed so hard to get me to buy add ons that they screwed up the sale and shipping for my phone. While everyone at the store is helpful there really is no place to sit down and there is always a wait. Trying to call the store is a nightmare I was never able to actually get someone at the store to talk to. This Verizon store has terrible service. There is hardly any seating in the store so you have to stand and it's just takes them forever to get to you. Verizon is just crummy in general. When I walked into this Verizon store, I had no idea what an adventure I would have! The store was bright and well organized and fairly busy for a Tuesday afternoon. I only waited about 5 or 10 minutes before one of their knowledgeable associates was available to help me. His name was John J. And without his help, I may have never switched to Verizon! My plan was to get information on Verizon's new unlimited plans and mobile hotspots for the 3 phones on my AT&T account. John did a fabulous job explaining the different plans and options available to fit my needs and my budget, even going over some details a couple of times to make sure he answered all of my questions. He spent at least an hour doing this and I hadn't committed to buying anything yet. He showed me several different plans and hardware options, but didn't try to push or hard sell anything to me. I left the store that day and told him that I was going to think about it and check with my sons before I made a decision about switching to Verizon. He wished me well and let me leave without badgering. I did return the next day and had decided to switch all three of my lines to Verizon to take advantage of their better coverage and unlimited data plan and mobile hotspots for each of my three phones. This was not a decision I took lightly since I've been an AT&T customer since 2004. But I had been dissatisfied with AT&T service for a while, and I thought it was time to trade up. So John and I begin the task of switching my existing phones over to Verizon's plan. Ordinarily this is a fairly painless and simple process, but since the phones were originally from a very small county in Indiana, my phone numbers were not portable to any other carrier. This was really disappointing, because it would be much simpler of course to keep the existing phone numbers and the fact that my sons and I had three sequential numbers. I had almost resigned myself to the fact that we would have three different and random phone numbers when John saved the day and had me create Google voice phone numbers for my 3 phones. I was able to pick the specific phone numbers, and was able to again find 3 sequential numbers. But there was another glitch, because AT&T still had my phones locked even though I had paid them off nearly 2 years ago. So I had to start the process to get AT&T to unlock the phones before we could even try to port the new numbers over to Verizon. Of course AT&T took their sweet time doing this and it took over 3 days for them to get it completed. So then I went back to Verizon and John so that he could once again start the process to get my new numbers transferred to Verizon. John is a computer wizard, and easily moved through all of the steps required to start the porting process for my phones. And thank goodness for that because it would've taken me days to get through all of the programs and processes that John breezed through in mere minutes. He even helped me back up my current iPhone to my computer so that I wouldn't lose any data, pictures or messages in the transfer process. Without the expertise and patience of John J, I know that I could not have gotten through this transfer process. Now with my new Verizon data plan and hotspot, I can use my phone to provide the wireless Internet connection for my laptop anywhere I might be. I travel most of the time for my job, so it's nice to not have to worry about setting up a home Wi-Fi every few months when I move. Thank you Verizon, thank you so very very much John J! read more

Pretty horrible experience every time that I go there. The wait is sometimes over an hour and the sales associates must be commission based because they push the accessories hard. This was my first time in a Verizon store. So, I was taken aback at being greeted with a demand for my phone number. So, I gave it to the guy, and was told there was a 30 minute wait. So, I browse for a while looking at phones. Then it occurs to me that a sales person will find me through my cell phone I assume by calling or texting. Well, my cell phone died (hence my reason for being there) so how will I be found? I go back to the greeter to let him know that this is my first time in a Verizon store and if a sales person tries to contact me via my cell, it no longer works. And he rudely tells me that theyre very busy, and if I'd just be patient, a sales associate will get with me shortly. Eventually, a young woman finds me. She does not introduce herself and does not have a name tag. I tell her I need a new phone and she starts giving me her hard sell. I asked her what "data" means and why it's good to have plenty of it, and she didn't know. I asked her what gb are and why I need 64g and she didn't know. I wound up buying a Google pixel 2 XL with a lot of accessories. I picked out a protective case without a screen protector because I have trouble with those, and she glues one onto the phone anyway! I see by the price tag on its box that it's $50! She couldn't get the phone set up either, so I had a 110 mile drive home on wintery roads with no working cell phone. I had no paperwork either. No receipts, nada. I felt upset that I wasn't listened to, and tricked by a lot of fast talk into spending way more $ than I'd planned. I went home and tried for hours to set up the phone and was not successful even with verizons *611 number. Got a message saying they're closed for New year's Eve! So two days later I drove to a totally different Verizon store and was told I'd gotten an excellent deal ("Consumer Plan"), the glass protector was part of the bundle and not $50 extra and I wasn't signed up for anything I didn't want or need. Whew, that was a relief! I wasn't ripped off! But shame on a store that allows employees to be rude to customers! And to make me feel like I was ripped off when I wasn't, is just plain wrong. They need to take time to really listen to customers. I didn't want the glass protector, now I have to press really hard to get my screen to respond. I needed my phone set up, working, and contacts transferred so I'd have a way to get roadside assistance if I got into trouble on the long snowy drive home. Didn't happen there. The other Verizon store I went to in Bozeman, MT printed my receipts and explained what I paid for. That store explained my plan to me and helped me set up my Verizon account and my Google account. I learned how to take pictures and get them stored on the cloud, what the cloud is and how to find my photos on it. And yes, I learned what data is and what 64gb mean. Shame on this Idaho falls store for treating me so poorly that I left convinced I was ripped off when really I got a good deal! I couldn't tell! read more

Shane is fantastic. We worked with him to update all of our phones for a family plan, including people (us) who came in from out-of-state, and he was super accommodating. And not pushy at all. The store was also much bigger and nicer than our local Verizon store here in Vegas. read more
