Broke my NEW iPhone by forcing the sim card in the wrong way THEN they told me that they would have to have a replacement phone sent to me in the mail. Nothing like lack of care for someones property on your part and having wait for another phone when it had nothing to do with my care of my NEW phone that I paid in full on my part. I'd give this place a lower star than a 1/5 but I had to round up on Yelp. read more

Went in and the first thing the woman said to me was "What do you want?" Explained I wanted my own phone plan and to keep my number. She rudely says I can't do that you have to call. So I called, got everything set up and wanted to get a new phone but no one in the store would even acknowledge me. What are you even getting paid for? Half the workers stood around on their phones or just went to the back. One worker completely walked past and ignored me at least 3 times. I went to the Wapak Verizon and got a new phone and everything set up in less time than I was at the Lima store, which was over an hour of standing around. One worker asked if I needed help while I was on the phone transferring my number and that was it. This store is the absolute worst and unhelpful and I will definitely not go back or recommend anyone else go there. read more

They sold me two certified pre owned phones and we were supposed to get brand new phones..also was told it was buy one get one free and we are paying on both phones. I would not have even got these phones at all if I would have known all this highly upset about to just cancel verizon all together because it seems we keep getting skrewed over. read more

No phone available to call out from this store. My friend was trying to switch an iPhone that I gave her from ATT to Verizon. She was told by the Verizon representative that services with that iPhone would cost her $125 a month and that it could not be converted to Verizon. She received additional information and returned to the Lima Store for assistance. Again the same representative from her first visit insisted it was not possible for her iPhone to be converted to Verizon. In addition he disconnected her original phone and would not let her use an in-store phone line to call me for assistance. In other words when she left the Lima store the second time she had no phone service. After 2 visits to this Lima store, the Springfield store, and finally to the Marysville store plus multiple hours on the phone with ATT, Apple, Verizon she now has Verizon services on her iPhone at the same cost of her previous phone. Truly this does not reflect well on the Services specifically at this Lima store or Verizon in General. Feel free to contact me. read more

My wife and I went to purchase 2 S9 plus and we were handed the two phones in a bag and said nothing how to set them up till I asked. She told us that the instructions were in the bag and it would take 30 minutes till new phones were activated. We drove to meijer and are old phones didn't work anymore. Plus she didn't inform us that we needed new car charges. I would like get some service for spending more than $$1800.00 at there store. read more

This store pressure you with sales. I spent WAY more than I planned to spend on upgrades at this store. I was there over 3 1/2 hours and still left with the wrong understanding of what my bill would be. I spoke with an online agent and was instructed to go back to the store and discuss with a manager which I did. BUT, I signed a contract which meant no help from the manager. Two years stuck with something I said no to because of how it was explained to me and my son turned out not to be truly stated. If you go to a locale store, have a plan and stick with it. If you don't, you will leave with more than you went to get and stuck paying for it. Wish I would of read another reviewer's comments before going to this Elida Road store because what they said happen to me. They were smart and stuck to their plan. Peace. Verizon responded and refunded the extra money I was charged. Glad the company made the adjustment, appreciate the follow through

I went in to just get a replacement phone seeing how I had dropped my old one. I had researched what I wanted, an iPhone 6, 128gb. The clerk said they had them. She went in the back and came out with a worked up plan to add onto my contract. When I explained I didnt need nor want the extras, the level of service went down. She seemed miffed that I wasn't wanting their overpriced cases and extras. She then went to the back, came out with an iphone7 instead. She started the upload of my apps into my phone, keeping me there for 45 minutes. I complained about the amount of time it was taking. Amazingly after I complained, the download sped up. I know it doesn't take that long. Seemed like I was getting jerked around because I wouldn't buy their extras. read more

Extremely poor service, misleading, and will tell you what you want to hear just to get you to switch over to Verizon and then you will not give you what you were told!! The manager at this store, Dennis Hardy, lied to my face about the "perks" and service I would get to have me switch my unlocked phone to Verizon. I was told would reimburse me for monthly phone plan as I had just renewed with other carrier, would give me a credit for the activation fee and was told the plan I selected was UNLIMITED. Unlimited to me meant there could be no "extra charges" ever-which I clarified and was confirmed by Dennis Hardy-manager. I received my first bill-it was over 400 for 1 month!! Was supposed to be 80. No credit for switching, no credit for activation and tons of overage/extra charges that I didn't understand. Took the bill in and attempted to get clarification/correction and Dennis Hardy lied to my face. His employee however did remember him telling me all of these things-which he verified to the call center manager but when I called Verizon-said they could do nothing-had to talk to the person who promised me all these "credits" as they couldn't verify them. In the end he gave me one of the 2 credits he promised me totaling 35. I was stuck with the activation fee and overage charges because apparently unlimited is not really unlimited. Buyer beware!!! Verizon will not stand behind the promises their employees make and they will tell you all the right answers to get your service and then lie after the fact leaving you with an extremely large bill and dissatisfaction. read more
