Very Disappointing Experience with Verizon My wife and I switched from T-Mobile to Verizon in December 2024 because they were running a promotion offering a free iPad and Apple Watch when switching to their top plan, with the catch being a 3-year agreement. Unfortunately, this has been nothing but a headache. My wife ordered the specific watch she wanted, but it was out of stock. Verizon initially told us it would arrive in January, but it never did. After following up in February, we were told the watch was still back-ordered, and as compensation for the delay, they threw in a watch band. Then, in March, we contacted them again only to find out that the order was canceled back in January, and we would need to pay $800 for the watch, which was supposed to be free as part of the promotion. The lack of communication, the mix-up with the order, and the way we were treated left a really bad taste in our mouths. Verizon offered no resolution, and we were left feeling completely frustrated. After this experience, I wouldn't recommend Verizon to anyone. As soon as we can, we'll be switching to another company, and we plan to take our families with us. read more

last Saturday me and my two sons went into Verizon to get new phones. The lady that helped us ,Maggie was very helpful and patient with us. One son has had issues with his phone and she spent quite a bit of time trying to correct it. This is the first time that the sales person hasn't sold us phones then tried rushing us out of the store. in the past when I've bought a phone and had issues I've been told to go to Best Buy to get the technical support I needed. read more

I liked these homies! I came here because I had an upgrade on my phone, and was informed that I came on the perfect day because they were selling iPhone's with 64 GB for the price of a 16 GB. I was thrilled that they would be straight up and give me the best deal, I hate the whole "how about we throw this in for an extra blah diddy blah blah?" I was in and out with my new phone in one hand and money in the other (since they bought back my old phone) in one hour flat. I cannot remember the name of the fella who helped me, but I would go as far to say that ALL of their workers are happy and helpful. The layout is nice and uncluttered, I love efficiency--and let me tell you, this store has it. TIPS & TRICKS: * If you do have an old phone, be sure to sell it back and then pocket the money (instead of buying screen and case protectors there). They have nice ones, but not many to choose from, I would recommend hitting up Amazon and finding both for cheap. * Try a glass screen protector on your phone, the employee helping me recommended it and I LOVE mine! read more

Terrible! Went in for a phone upgrade and left very disappointed. I asked about 3 basic questions before settling on a phone and Brandon gave VERY basic answers, upon bringing me the phone he would not give me any information on transferring to my new phone without paying them to do it for me (As he chuckled at me for even asking), I left without a phone, but a great desire to find a new provider. If I could rank 0 stars I would. I've had to go into the store for multiple different reasons, some simple some complex. No matter what the issue is none of the representatives seemed to give a shit about their job or helping their customers. They would rather sit on their phones doing nothing. I've been given numbers to call because "they don't handle the issue in the store" yet I end up talking to a robot. The service in Logan is just plain shit as it is. But the stores and representatives are even worse, definitely will be switching to a different provider and will never recommend Verizon to anyone. It's been nothing but issues with shitty representatives their to "help". To anyone reading this review save your money and time and go somewhere else. read more

The "representative" at this store showed his ignorance of the policies. We have been to two other Verizon stores across the country that were ready to replace my new phone which has been damaged because I have insurance coverage. We decided to wait until we returned to our home state. That was a mistake! The other stores even offered an upgrade. The guys here are not interested in helping the customer. That became apparent as I watched people come and go quickly. I would recommend ANY store before this one in Logan. Ratings should allow for a ' no-star rating! read more

Awful. I have been a Verizon customer for over 20 years. I went into the Logan store to ask about an international calling plan and the "sales" person tried to upsell me a plan I already researched as what I needed at 100.00 for a month vs. 300.00 he tried to scam me. Please. He was obstinate, deflective and impotent to be of service. He just gave me an 800 number to call and could have cared less. Not very bright for the long haul and I will be switching to a competitor. Nice work North Logan Verizon. read more

The staff members here are very poor at helping customers out. I waited for service as three staff members including the location manager conversed about personal matters for 15 minutes, before I finally interrupted them and asked them if they would help me out. They apologized and realized that they had assumed that I didn't need help, which was a terrible assumption on their part. While I feel they want to "help customers", I don't feel they actually want to help customers resolve their issues at the root cause. It's the difference between responding to an email from a customer and simply get a message out of your inbox for the moment, vs. actually working to resolve the issue at it's root cause and thereby stop the customer from ever having to write a second email about that same issue to you for support. Like this to how they handle things at this store. They're more concerned with the tally's then they are with resolving issues. Things have gotten better since they created a touchscreen "checkin" station for customers, a queuing "take-a-ticket" kind of way to help out their customers, as this store often gets backlogged with walkins; customers needing assistance -- and they simply don't always have the staff available to help out in that very instant. Since they've added this 1st come 1st serve tracking system for customers, things have been better. But still the image of the store manager chatting for so long with her coworkers about non-business matters without offering to help me still lingers in my mind. read more

I wish I could rate this store as -100 stars, but one star will have to do for now. I have lived in 6 different states in the past 10 years for work and have been with Verizon since 2008. I have never. Never. Been treated so poorly by a Verizon Corporate store in my life. This store is horrible, from the deplorable customer service to the arrogance of the staff who seem to not care how long the wait is. Juan in particular is just a salesman there who barely speaks English and can't understand anything you ask him to do. What a joke of a store, I live in Logan and will be traveling all the way to Riverdale to the corporate store there so I won't have to deal with these people anymore. Place is a joke, the wait time is just ridiculous I thought I'd give them one more chance but today it was my last straw! I sat watching a worker help some choose a god damn phone case for 45 mind almost! Why are they putting people in line to choose a phone case, let the customer choose a phone case how hard can that be? Help people that want to upgrade phones or actually buy something that will get you money! Oh and not to mention don't try calling his place no one ever picks up! Spent 6 hours trying to change the entire family from one carrier to Verizon. Some of it was partly our fault however a good portion of it was not. I went in the day before to get some information and the sales staff wasn't very helpful or knowledgeable through the whole experience. I have been there 3 times now in about a week and all three times I was attended to in a timely manner. However while there it seemed that other customers or other employees had their attention and that they weren't focused on meeting the needs of the customer at hand. They didn't explain much or try to help figure a solution that would meet our needs, we had to do that on our own. There was a promotion going when we were there that I discovered online and I had to bring it up. It wasn't something that they were even trying to promote their business with. When looking at a couple of different phone options I asked about the differences. From the answers that I received I questioned what they told me from my limited knowledge of what I had learned from other sources so after I looked up the same questions online I discovered what I was told was not accurate. We had several bills instead of one which confused me why they didn't consolidate it and they never went through it and explained the charges. There are some credits due to us and I am still unclear on how they work and when we'll see them. I had to go online and go through the bills myself for an hour or so to make sure they were accurate. A few days later I went back when I was having a fairly simple issue with the set up of one of the new phones and they weren't able to resolve it. The sales associate took the matter to the manager and both of them couldn't figure it out. I was referred to calling technical support. After talking with tech support they quickly resolved the issue and after realizing how simple it was I thought the local sales staff should have been able to resolve this problem. Unlike a large number of dissatisfied reviews of this particular store here in Cache Valley, Utah; I personally had a very opposite and wonderful visit to this Verizon Wireless store. We were greeted immediately when walking into the store by one of the employee's name of Damon. My wife and I were eligible of upgrading both our phones, but I feared of how long our visit would be to do paperwork, transfer contacts from the old to the new phones, and do the activation of our new phones. I'm pleased to announce that we accomplished all that was mentioned last sentence, and left store by 50 minutes flat. I'm very impressed how Damon saw our time as valuable. Damon was friendly and professional, while offering quality service. My wife and I are happy with our new phones, and will gladly return when we are eligible for our next upgrade. read more

If I could rank this 0 stars, I would. This location is probably one of the worst places I have ever had to deal with customer service at. They refuse to help you. Tell you to call in with any questions you may have to their 1-800 number. Yet when you call in there, they inform you that a store is MORE than able to help you out with your requests. It may be as simple as a phone switch out. To get a new phone. To help you place an order. But sadly this location refuses to help you out at all. They will also tell you one thing in the store that differs completely with their own policies. Sadly its not just isolated to one employee or one instance. We have had MANY encounters with this location, and each time it stuns me that their is a location that refuses to help out customers at all, EVEN when its for a new phone and activation. Do yourself a favor, travel to a different location or do whatever you need online, and avoid dealing with this location at all cost. read more

A few months ago, a new Samsung representative came to Best Buy's Verizon store, and is AMAZING!!! His name is Vince. He has been trained by Samsung and has fixed every problem right away that I have had with my Samsung Galaxy phone, tablet, and my laptop's ability to talk to sync with them. Literally went into Verizon was advised to come back the next day because I was on a time crunch. I came back and and waited and waited while people who came after me were served, then after confronting the representative, I was informed that I needed an appointment. Shortly thereafter the representative, Trevor, approached and when I expressed my frustration, he LAUGHED at me! When I said that it is inappropriate to laugh at a customer, he laughed again! Then when he fixed the problem, I asked him what he did. He told me he turned off imessage and turned it back on. Hmm, I thought, that is weird because we did that already. We got in the car and my smart teenager said, he took out the SIM card! He didn't even tell us he removed the SIM card to fix it. When my husband went back in there to confront him about his attitude towards me, didn't care, didn't matter. He literally walked away from my husband and when my husband called him a name, the manager told us to leave. I said to the manager, so it is okay to insult customers but when they stand up for themselves, you have to leave? She said my representative did use profanity at you. You are right manager - you employee did not use profanity at me, he just laughed at me and walk away when we were trying to receive an apology. We immediately paid off our phones and activated At & T. Go see Holly at AT & T, she will do you right. read more

I have always been helped by kind and knowledgeable employee at this store. I sometimes have to wait my turn, and I know we adults don't like doing this any more than our little ones, but I never feel like I am being rushed or annoying when it is my turn. They have always taken time to answer my questions and to be sure I understand what I need to. Excellent service! read more

They used to have the best cellular coverage when I worked out in the middle of nowhere, but now it seems like there are more affordable options with customer service agents that aren't flat out rude. I might add, they are super friendly when you are starting service, but once you are locked into a contract, they are horrible. read more

Do not believe them when they tell you something is free. We were looking to get new phones, and we were told they were running a promotion right now where they offered a free ipad mini when you bought two iphones, you just have to pay the taxes. I wasn't looking for a tablet, but I thought, why not? Well, my first bill comes, and there's over $30 in charges for a monthly access fee and their Edge monthly payment program on the ipad. When contacted, I was told that it was free because I didn't have to pay anything that day for it. That isn't free. By that logic, my phones were free as well. When I talked to the manager she was extremely belligerent and rude. She basically said I was SOL because it was past the 14 day return period on the ipad. I also noticed they didn't give me a receipt for the ipad though they did for the phones and accessories. It all seems very sketchy to me. The sales associate even admitted to me that nobody actually looks at their bills, just the total amount. Well, guess what? I did look and caught them in their deceit. read more

If I could rate this store a minus score, I definitely would. My experience with the salespeople was positively horrid. First I had to sign up with the guy at the door with the IPAD. After watching two other customers being helped that came after me, the IPAD guy asked if I had signed in yet. I proceeded to tell him I had signed in but apparently it didn't matter. He could see I was starting to fume so he asked the nearest salesperson to help me, mind you, I was only wishing to exchange a charger. The salesperson then told me he couldn't help me because he was a "device speciailist" . I asked to speak with the "exchange specialist". He could see how mad I was getting so he said he would do me a big favor and help me. Gee Thanks!!! I showed him the item I needed exchanged (a Verizon charger) and told him the guy at the door said I needed an Apple Product. The salesperson said it was an Apple product and proceeded to argue with me when I was only repeating what the other employee said. He then told me that the life case was put on wrong and that's why it wouldn't fit. I told him I should have gone to the "case specialist". Anyway, I then told him the case was put on by this store the day before. He then said the "salespeople" don't know how to put the cases on. When I questioned why the store allows the salespeople to put the cases on if they can't put them on correctly he told me they just do it to help out. He then told me he didn't know how to return something and he had to find out how to do it and he would be right back. I watched him go to the back and take a screen off of an Iphone for another clerk while I waited at the register for him to find out how to exchange. When he got back he basically told me three times that I needed to exchange both chargers I bought, not just the one I was trying to exchange. He definitely did not want to bother with me. I said, nevermind, and left with the original charger after wasting a full hour trying to exchange one item. This guy shouldn't be allowed to work with the public. I am going to write the store and the corporate office and complain as loudly as possible. Maybe they should train their employees on customer service instead of making worthless "specialists". read more
