The location for this review is Maumee Ohio…read more In summary: If you want to explore there is allot of products to see.......but Shop at your own risk if you want a peaceful and comfortable shopping experience. We plan to limit visits or eliminate visits in the future. (+) Wide selection of appliances including a luxury lit hen section. Also furniture, flooring and consumer electronics. You could refurnish a whole house with contents of the store. (+ -) Prices for some products are competitive but others higher. I have had positive experiences with Sales people here who appear to work on commission, where they engage to help if needed but then back away to give space to the customer to comfortable shop. (-) But recently I have really wanted to purchase and appliance from them but the sales experience was so aggressive and negative we removed them as an option for the purchase.

More days later that they sent a repair tech with an attitude. He dragged mud & water all over our foyer wood floor & kitchen tiles from his shoes. Without checking anything, he began to berate my wife which I overheard in the next room. He wanted her to get a piece of long wood to place behind the wall and fridge as a solution. The fridge has adjustable feet. I checked the tile floor in all directions and everything was level. He then told both of us, "This is how this is going to go." I then told him "This is the way it's going to go!" I told him to get out of our house after being abusive to both of use. We called AC to let them know what just happened & request another service tech. They refused. We noticed the fridge was not cooling below 40. I adjusted temp to the lowest setting of 33/freezer 0. Still could not get it below 40. We paid an additional $209 for 5 yr warranty from AC. DO NOT believe you will get this $$$ back if you don't use it. They lied several years ago for one we bought. They made an excuse they had changed insurance companies and could no longer honor being refunded. AC Mgr Mike Kelly called and got nasty with me and stated they would not replace nor send someone out to fix these two problems. He told me to get a lawyer. Nice. Steer clear of this place. Look at their reviews. Update: It's unfortunate that this business wastes so much time to lie and make excuses instead of spending a few minutes taking care of customers. I'm sorry your incompetent tech did not have time to put a 2x4 behind the fridge as a fix like he insisted on, without even looking at the problem. Please state what your tech was going to do about the problem. All during his stay he would not even look at the two different length levels we tried to get him to use. What expert tool did he use to determine that a piece of wood needed to be placed behind the fridge and wall? NOTHING. How did he check the floor for being level? He didn't. We did and tried to show him the floor was perfectly level. He did NOTHING but berate my wife and spew nonsense. As a retired IT Manager of 33 years, I have a lot of technical background and can tell when I am talking to an uneducated person who blows BS. You sent three people out and all could not even correct this defective fridge. Three "experts" from your company. Have your expert techs read the manual or watched a YouTube video concerning adjusting fridge doors. There is no mention regarding sticking a piece of wood anywhere. No mention of wood at the Manufacturers website. If this tech is the best your company can do, I can see why you have a 1.8 rating on YELP. Fact. I would suggest next time your expert and probably not-certified tech look around for cameras. They are everywhere today. And cameras don't lie like you do. Sorry if your adult tech got butt hurt from getting words thrown back at him as he did first. If you check under Freedom of Speech, a property owner determines what speech rules on their property and has the right to kick anyone out that they deem necessary. I was not going to allow him to trash talk to my wife and treat her with disrespect. I guess this is something your business condones. As a woman, you should be concerned - or not. It's very sad, you as a Manager, are so blind to customer complaints and believe your techs can do no wrong. You are a very poor Manager. You get zero stars. Oh NO! New UPDATE! HOW EMBARRASSING! Frigidaire sent out Dave Smith Appl Serv to take a look at this fridge since AC couldn't handle the problem. He discovered the problem quickly. The back wheel assembles and rear side panels are bowed/damaged from being dropped. I guess the 3 techs sent out by AC aren't as great as their Manager states they are. Frigidaire is replacing the whole unit! OMG! Say it isn't so Appliance Center! You and your staff failed miserably in customer support and technical service. I'm positive you will deny everything instead of doing the right thing and calling me and apologizing how rude three Managers and three techs treated my wife and myself. I bet you are reaching for the phone right now dialing my number. NOT! Keep believing you are great and make no mistakes. You own this. Now act like a responsible business owner and admit it. Clearly, Dave Smith Appliance Service knows what they are doing. Send your guys over to be trained on tech service and customer service. And FYI - You owe me a refund for your lousy extended warranty since the serial numbers won't transfer. Let me know when you will sending me a check. No charge for the education.

First he was willing to send photos of the before and after repair for my Truck's rebuild scrapbook. Then the USPS (post office) lost my package. Michael continued to stay in contact and check in with me for weeks. Sadly the USPS never recovered my package. DO NOT SHIP ANYTHING through the post office without making them put tracking numbers on it. I wish i had used UPS or FedEx, but I had trusted the Post office and that was my fault, no fault of Re-Circuit electronics. Michael worked with me to help source a FICM for me to buy and get my truck back up and running. he gave me the best price he could due to my unfortunate situation with the Post Office. overall it was above and beyond customer service, he really tried to help anyway he could. a bad experience with the post office and i'll never ship a package with them again. but a great experience with Michael @ Re-Circuit electronics

Incompetent techs and awful customer service. So I brought it here, and Nate had it repaired and back to me the next day. No weird issues, 10/10 customer service and communication. We had made the original purchase with a voucher from a bundle purchase at Art Van. We found the staff at Paul's to be very knowledgable about the the electronics and they made our purchase and returns seamless. They even loaded the TV for us. We found them very helpful and willing to accomadate our needs. Our only concern is the store is small, so much of the merchandise isn't actually on hand and will need to be trucked in from their warehouse. This is a stocking issue on the corporate end and not a flaw in the local employees. You will find a helpful and friendly staff and a good shopping experience ... especially from a very new store.

Got out layaway setup. From that point forward our experience went downhill at a 90 degree angle. When we tried to make payments we were told their was no phone service so they could not rake any credit cards, yet we could hear phones ringing and staff being paged to "pickup line 2" over the PA system. We wrote a check. The sales man ran the check through the machine and would not give me a receipt for the payment until I signed a form giving him permission to electronically process my check as an ACH. I asked why I was not given this form before the check was processed through the machine electronically and was told "that is the way we do things." Not an acceptable answer. I refused to sign the form giving permission for something that had already been done. The sale man said they could not give me a receipt without my signing the permission form. The sales man got another salesman to explain it to me and they could not answer my question either. They brought over a third salesman to answer my question. He looked at me, put his hands in his pocket and asked "what do you want us to do." I said certainly not ask me a question like that. I asked for my check back and for documentation canceling the payment by check. No one knew how to do that. I left with my check. Went home and checked my account online and found that they had processed the payment as an ACH. It took 10 days for the payment to be returned to my account. Because this was a Christmas gift, I came back with cash. I had to wait for two sales men to count the money before the transaction was processed. I asked about the warranty and was told the only warranty was what came from the manufacturer.

I tried giving SERVALL (appliance parts) a second chance. However, history tends to repeat itself!…read more I downloaded this YELP app just to broadcast my terrible experience at the Conant St location in Maumee OH. 1st visit (a year ago): Same middle aged female working behind the parts counter: I stopped in to purchase a simple $15 part for my dryer. Let's just say she provokes, manipulates, and encourages argumentative behavior. Never knew a 20 minute police interrogation was necessary for a $15 part. Difficult experience for a very simple request 2nd visit: Same middle aged female working behind parts counter: Again, remembering my last experience I was somewhat expecting to bite my tongue. How bad could it be. All I needed to do was buy the same exact $15 part I bought last year. Nightmare begin: She took my request for the "same part as last year" as if I wanted a free $15 part. Not the case at all. I figured it would be easier to reference an old invoice than start fresh with a year, make, and model. I was quickly reminded of a "no refunds" program. Confused I repeated " I am just interested in purchasing the same part as last year" She is now more interested in figuring out how I concluded my diagnostics to my dryer than actually just selling me the "simple" $15 part. My "simple" comment gave her the idea to then let me know that nothing was "simple" in life. At this point I was not looking a dryer part. I was looking to remove myself from being verbally attacked. I let her know that I had also tried doing business there a year ago. However, she was pretty good at making sure my visit was short. Both times I have found myself ordering the part online and avoiding someone else's bad day. AVOID SERVALL

I also tried SERVAL Appliance Parts, it also was my first experience, which occurred before…read morechecking yelp, and reading Mike B's review! Wrong move on my part! During my first visit to SERVALL, there were two females, one older one working behind the counter and apparently the same middle aged female Mike refers to working in back. When I asked the apparently inexperienced woman behind the counter if they could check out the solenoid valve I had removed from my dishwasher, she had to check with the woman in back. In her response to the women up front and myself in front of the counter, was also was provocative, argumentative and manipulating and encouraging a response I refused to give. Why give her that satisfaction by responding to her provocative behavior. Her response to both the woman and myself was essentially this: They could check the valve for continuity, but that would not insure it was good, since the diaphragm could also be bad. But instead of offering to check it anyway, she began to tell me indirectly by yelling from the back, what I should have done, request a service call so they could check the valve, kind of rubbing my nose in the situation, but not offering to help. I thought this was in poor taste, since if the valve was bad I would buy another. Of course I could take the chance of buying the valve anyway, but if it was not the problem, I could not bring it back. With all that behind me I left the business never to return. Later a former appliance person would tell me to check the valve by remounting it, and directly applying power. When I did this, the valve appeared to work, but there still was no flow. But instead of taking the woman's advice that the diaphragm was bad, I removed the valve, and soaked only the plastic potion (not the coil) in a one to one dilution of an acidic type toilet bowl cleaner and water, for ten minutes. This cleaned the valve of calcium deposits, and from then on, the valve has worked perfectly. Lately, I have also been informed by a Chemist that CLR, or calcium, lime and rust remover would also work too, along with phosphoric acid or even the use of straight lemon juice or undiluted white vinegar for 30 minutes. Over all, I wonder how many dishwashers are scrapped each year, or how many expensive services calls are made, or even new valves sold, when the old one can probably be cleaned at home, without the abuse of SERVALL's counter help, or their crack service department! I too agree with Mike B. - AVOID SERVALL, at least until they post an apology!
