Made an appointment online to change our plan, remove items and buy a new screen protector. When I showed for the appt I was told I had to call a "800" loyalty number to do everything I wanted. i have received a note 10 phone that is literally junk, it looked used when i went to the UPS store in Muncie on 11/18/2020 to pick it up. i have tryed everything in my power since the day i seen this phone to get it switched out or return it. ive spent over a 100 hours with customer service from Verizon since 11/18/2020, everytime i think something is gonna happen thats good the person that works for Verizon hangs up and i dont know how to get them back, so at one point i have to strart all over again, once again i have tryed to trade or get the note 10 replaced since the day i layed eyes on it on 11/18/2020, i meen time after time after time im on the phone with customer service with verizon, and im not trying to get money i just want a phone thats worth $1,019.00 that im going to have to pay for this phone in the next 24 months.. bringing that up, on 10/23/2020 when i talked to verizon for the first time about me getting my own phone, they set it up that day cause i couldnt afford to pay for it until 11/03/2020, so when i called on 11/03/2020 i was on the phone for over 7 hours with 15 different representives for verizon. ok i was accused of owing Verizon money before they gave me this note 10 in my name. also ive been talked to like a dog, they have also been nice, but noone has accomplished nothing. i called the 1 800 number today with verizon and the lady set me up with an appt at the verizon store in muncie at 7 pm to take my phone in and trade it, mind you i told this lady that this phone looks like ive had it for years but she said the store in muncie would help me. well i called a friend and got to the appt at 7 pm 11/24/2020 to talk about my note 10, this gentlemen talked to me for a few minutes and then went and got i guess who was the manager, i am 57 years old and never have been treated like a dog, and talked to like i was a piece of trash, this man needs to be put in jail the way he talked to me, i had my niece on the phone so she could hear him and my friend was standing 10 feet away so she could see how he was acting, ive never in my life been treated like this before exspeciallly for something i didnt even order but got stuck with all along all i have asked was that i get a phone that works properly, but no that hasnt happened, i dont know what i can do legally but im sure i can, see because i have mental issues myself, i draw a check every month because i have problems with mental issues, this man at the store in muncie made those worse, i will contact my dr tomorrow. read more

If you want to great carrier Verizon is one of the best! If you want the most awful customer service experience visit the Muncie IN Verizon store. The manager Lee Ann will give you plenty of excuses to why she can't help you. And if you want your expected to ship date to change from one month to two months this is definitely the store you want to go too. Very unsatisfactory customer service and handling complaints when you've already ordered a phone and them explaining why they can't ship your purchased product in a timely manner! They will blame manufactures over and over... I've been with Verizon since 2001 and this is got to be the most irresponsible distribution of products for Verizon ever. I was told that the date had changed to a whole other month because they did not receive enough phones to fill order I had placed 11-1-14. Very frustrated with Verizon this morning. They have offered a feature "backup assistant plus" that looked like a good feature at a good price. I signed up and then went to get the app Verizon Cloud (per the instructions). It DOES NOT YET EXIST in the app store! On the 2nd call to the Verizon help desk, the representative had to call tech support and it took her screen shots to get them to believe that is wasn't out there! It may not be till the end of the month! How is it that they can launch a product and not know that the full support system for that product is not fully funcitional and available for their customers? read more

Came in to turn in my phone for the port over from AT&T. Every time I have left a store I simply received a receipt for device turn in. On this day I receive an email about my Verizon gift card for $196. I asked why I didn't get the standard receipt, they told me it's the way it was supposed to happen. To be safe I call 611 to verify. It's I correct. It is truly just a $196 gift card. That means no $300 bill credit, no device credit for AT&T fees. I am flustered so I talk to the first available representative. I start "with I just turned in a device and it wasn't put on my account correctly." He stops me and states that "I have no clue what you are taking about." I tel the rep on the phone I have to wait because this guy can't understand what I'm saying so I need to wit for Brandon. Brandon comes along and I say "hey this is verizon can you speak to them." He puts his hand up no and says "I'm good." I then ask for a manager. He politely stops to ask me what I want, and what my goal was. Then without looking at the receipt or account assures me that Brandon did it correctly. Again incorrect. Luckily this entire time I was on the phone with customer service. 17 minutes later she has a solution and will be submitting a form to provide my account with the correct credits. I wasn't a fan of this place. But when I stepped on my phone (another story), and came to them, they went above and beyond. I made the mistake of going to a non-corporate store when I bought my phone and bought their insurance. (As an aside, don't go to non-corporate stores, and Verizon should not let them sell products they won't stand behind.). But these people were great! All prepared to buy a new phone, but they suggested a place to get a new screen for about 25% of what a new phone costs. Love it! Wish I remembered names to give credit. read more

I have received good service with Muncie's Verizon store in the past but my last visit proved to be unpleasant. It made me want to switch to another phone carrier immediately. ......My husband had spent over two hours in this store where he was told that everything in our phones had transferred after receiving upgrades. I realized that evening that his phone was fine, but every one of my contacts were missing. We went into the store together the next business day where we were told that they would not even look at our phones unless we pay another $10.00. I explained that my husband was just in there for hours transferring information. The sales person could have cared less and the manager of the store wouldn't even take the time to let me explain. I'm not upset about the $10, it's the fact that you spend hours in the store where you are assured that the transfer is final, but charged again to actually complete the process. I feel we were treated poorly and the service was unsatisfactory especially for the cost of the phones, service, and upgrades. read more
