my business partner and I went in this store looking for internet for our store. we were told we got the best they offered. upon setup we realized the internet didn't work for our cameras even tho we made sure with Trevor the manager this would be sufficient for us. I called and called the store multiple times as did my business partner with no answer. finally after a few weeks Trevor returned our call and said he would give us better internet and if that didn't work he would refund everything. you guessed it, it didn't work so again we called and called and called with no answer. mind you this is his personal number and the store. I finally went in and they told me they had no idea who I was and that I would need to speak with Trevor who was not there because he was conveniently out traveling. They're now trying to charge me for a service that never worked. read more

My husband & I purchased 2 new Google Pixel phones in Jan. The Promo was "free" however I am still trying to get the one phone credited on my account. They have been charging me for one of the phones for the last 4 months and it is suppose to be free. I have been calling Customer Service, which is no help, cannot speak English and I even went in-person to the store where we purchased the phones and was told this will be resolved but still is not. And I was also told that since I purchased the phones in Jan that there is a new plan that came out...Imagine that... I doubt it. The Rep was not making sense and was talking in circles. I worked with Jamie yesterday (I hope I spelled it correctly). She was wonderful! She helped me upgrade to a new phone and watch. She also helped me pick out a great new case and some chargers for my new items. She was very polite and extremely helpful! She made it a joy to go to the Verizon store! I have been there before and she is always equally charming and helpful. I hope Verizon realizes what a great asset they have here. read more

This is a corporate store, so they really push upselling. I had gone in to downgrade my phone and get a cheap flip phone, was constantly asked if I wanted to add another line and get a different smart phone, was argued with about the functions of said flip phone, and then told the flip phone wouldn't work on my phone plan. Instead of offering solutions, the person helping me just kept trying to upsell. I left and went to a different Verizon location, got the exact same flip phone, it was completely compatible with my plan, and had no issues. read more

Terrible service. Worker had bad attitude!!! I'm having trouble with the new iPhone 11 and cannot get any help. There is no phone number to talk to someone directly. Returning all 4 phones I bought and changing carriers!! Better off going to Walmart!!!! read more

If you are a woman, especially if you are elderly do not go to this store. The male reps lie through their teeth to female customers to try & steal their iPhones for no trade in & up sell things that are not needed. My aunt went to that store & lied about the current promotion, took her iPhone 4S & lied saying they would "recycle it". All reps are shady. Verizon is the devil. Stay away!!! read more

If you want great customer service and great cell service do not go to this location. Do what I do and go to Boardman. It is well worth the drive! This Niles location is always busy and never seems to be happy about it. The reps are fast talkers and do not listen to what you need and want at all they just push their specials...even when you explain you are not interested. On Saturday my sister and I went in to switch to the Edge program. 4 lines, 4 upgrades, and we wanted allllll Apple phones. The woman pushed droids so bad I got angry and walked out. Why would you push a cheap droid on a family that tells you we are an Apple family and even have an Apple employee in the family??? She simply did not listen. That's ok. We went to Boardman and they not only took care of us, but were so amazingly helpful it was more than worth the drive. read more

After reading the other reviews I can see I'm not the only one who has experienced problems with this store; I actually walked in one time while the staff was playing nerf ball with each other. Actually, no problem because I know we all have down-time but when I asked for help to transfer data from one phone to another I was told to go home, look on the computer, read the instructions and do it myself, like WOW! If you can play nerf ball, you can help a customer! Today I spoke to the store manager, named Josh, who told me he was "so busy with walk ins he couldn't help me with my issues". Again, WOW! I'm 600 miles away, I can't walk in your store but I wish I could have cause I would have probably walked in with a nerf ball of my own and bounced it off your empty-idiot-head. This is not how you treat customers. I have read the other reviews; I guess Boardman is the store to go to, that is if you want to go to a store. I actually was able to get through to Customer Service and I spoke to Devin who not only answered my questions but looked over my account and helped me lower my bill by suggesting a much better plan for me and well, what a great experience! Customer Care, or at least Devin, was wonderful but this Niles store, well, somebody needs to clean house, get a new staff and rehab their reputation! read more

Representatives are awful and unknowledgeable. They refuse to tell you about any hidden fees or charges and then proceed to lie about it when you take the matter to corporate. read more
