Went in to ask about replacement and Sierra our assistant handed up a paper with a number to call and walked off we then stopped her to ask about possible upgrade. Sierra was not helpful and seemed to only be interested in whom she was texting off her phone. She didn't loose out on 1 not 2 but 3 sales because she was worried about leaving at 6. She was rushing us to see which phone we wanted and told us only had 9 minutes to decode or it couldn't be done I'm not one to be rushed but if your employees are too lazy to stay and make 3 sales. They should not be working there. We told her we would else where if it was too much trouble for her " She said OK" they wouldn't provide a last name but she had facial jewelry and black stars on her face. Not friendly. Not helpful. Not professional. We drove over an hour and a half and left Verizon contemplating switching providers. read more

Went in because my phone wasn't turning on the guy told me " that's how new iPhones work" and didn't help me what so ever. I demandes to know the answers and he told us to leave the store. It took 2 hours to fix a simple problem regarding my phone service. While we were waiting, two employees were passing a phone back and forth, talking about the Instagram post they were looking at. These were mature adults, not some kids working the weekend shift. Very unprofessional. read more

**Verizon San Angelo** My friend just went in to get help with his phone. One of your employees walked up and entered the conversation and threatened to ban him from the store because he was upset that his phone wasn't working. As my friend is leaving this "gentleman," red headed and kind of tall, then blows my friend a kiss and laughs at him as he is walking out, and still got no help. This is completely unprofessional and I hope everyone sees this and this is addressed. He will be going to corporate for this situation. I hope this "man" is dealt with the right way and doesn't have a job soon. Do not go here! Very unprofessional and poorly handled situation. Wish they had a zero star option. The worst customer service experience I've ever had in person. I came in to switch my SIM card, and the phone I wanted to switch it to needed to be charged. 'Sonia' plugged it in and had wireless headphones in and proceeded to scroll TikTok the entire time I was in front of her. Even when switching the SIM card, she propped her phone up to continue to watch TikTok. She didn't speak to me and couldn't hear me when I asked her questions unless I said, 'Excuse me? Hello?' More than once. It was so bad it was bizarre. So I ask to speak with a manager, and I told her why. She went to the 'manager' and said loudly, 'This lady wants to talk to you because she thinks it's bizarre I've been on my phone'. Said 'manager' comes to me, I explain that she not only was watching TikTok and ignoring me our whole encounter, but she had headphones in so she couldn't hear me. He explained that they are on their phones, and yes they're allowed to wear headphones. So really the employees get paid to watch TikTok, we customers are but a disturbance. Totally blew my mind. Not only that this happened, but that the manager pretty much said, 'Yeah that's how we do things here.' I have never felt like my business was more irrelevant ever. You get better customer service at any fast food restaurant. read more

Do not waste your time going here. Go to the mall, they are way more helpful!! I waited one hour with my toddler, only to be told they could not help me because I didn't have my driver license with me at the time. I had switched wallets and forgot it. Nothing would suffice. Not a teacher badge with picture, credit card, insurance card, nothing. No one told me when I signed it I would need a drivers license. Went to the mall and they helped me right away. I walked in the store toddy and unfortunately I couldn't get any assistance there were 3 reps in the store and only one was occupied the other 2 didn't want to provide assistance to me on purchasing a new device. So I'll just use the online service this location is horrible. read more

Worst customer service experience. We entered the store to transfer an account to my line, give them more business, and from the start the staff was way less than knowledgeable about Verizon and it's service. It took 45 minutes to even get a quote. When we were ready to purchase the phone, an Employee told us they had the two phones in stock but only came back with one. She said would do one at a time which didn't make sense for efficiency but I let it go. After an hour and a half I was finally upgraded. So now it was time to transfer the line. The order froze up. They disappeared to the back and called people, two hours later we left with no solution. They told us to come back the next day, they would help us right away. But every question we asked it was "I don't know". Came back the next day and was pushed to the back of the line. Four days later, we are on the phone with customer service and they told us the phone was back ordered. It has been backordered for quite some time meaning we were lied to about it from the beginning. It took this representative about ten minutes to tell us and she already knew what was going on based on the phone type. The store itself is not straightforward. Their customer service is absolutely awful. They are Not honest. They are not knowledgeable. We will be driving to Abilene corporate store from now one. read more

I understand nothing about iphones and routers and little boxes that go bump in the night. Sylvia at Verizon does. With a pleasant attitude and sweet smile, she answered more questions than I knew I even had. And not once, did she make me feel dumb about it. She helped my husband and I understand what types of service we needed and the best equipment. However, she didn't push us to purchase the most expensive or the highest dollar models. Only what we needed. I met with her manager before leaving to tell him what a gem he had on his hands with her...of course, he was well aware. (And I suggested whatever he was paying my her, was NOT enough.) Go see Sylvia. Ask for Sylvia. Listen to Sylvia. She's smart and knows her stuff. And will let you walk out feeling a little smarter yourself. read more

If I could give negative stars, I would. Condescending staff with zero customer service skills. While visiting San Angelo, I left my wife to upgrade her phone while I ran to pick up our lunch. When I got back, my wife was outside the store in tears due to two of the staff being overtly snide to questions my wife had with her upgrade. It doesn't take long to look through these Yelp comments to see that this is a recurring theme with this Verizon location. Avoid this store like the plague. Report the incompetent staff with Verizon Customer Care. We get it, you live in San Angelo and work at a cell phone store so your life is pretty pathetic... but go get a different job or at least some therapy to help you cope with your miserable existence. At the very least maybe work on your professional appearance and tone of voice as a bottom of the barrel customer service rep. We've contacted Verizon corporate and look forward to the two associates aforementioned being reprimanded and hopefully fired. read more

My third trip into this store for the same issue and once again, I accomplished nothing. i have about an hour and a half invested in waiting and have yet to move up far enough in the Que to actually speak to someone. Terrible service. Waiting for someone to help you here is a real time waster. They actually act like we are asking for a favor. We are customers! I brought my phone in to this store to get it activated. I was seen immediately upon walking in. They entire process only took a few moments. HORRENDOUS CUSTOMER SERVICE. This has by far been the worst Verizon store we have ever run into. So bad that it has made us cancel our service and switch to AT&T. These employees need some serious training in how to handle situations. I would 10/10 suggest not going here if you have any sort of issue at all because I can promise it will not get handled. It would be one thing if they tried to help and couldn't but it very much appears the flat out don't want to assist any one unless it's going to make them money. Every time we go to the Verizon store there is at least a 45 minute wait. I would think that the huge wait time would clue in the management that there is a need to hire more employees, but that is not the case. Having talked to management about the wait I am always told that 'its never this busy' but having gone in multiple times during different hours, this is always the case. Then we got to the 'dirty car salesmen' that are the employees. They tell you that they are not going to change your plan and then when you start to read the documents that they want signed, they will rush you, page forward and explain that they 'only have a few minutes with each customer so they don't get in trouble for not helping other people'. So unless you fight, you do not get to read the paperwork. And they lie. About everything. 'You get a discount with a edge phone' that never appears on your phone "there is an extended warranty' that you cant use, 'you can always come back and switch out your phone' as long you never leave the building and pay a restock fee. The people who work for Verizon are not customer friendly, and corporate is 'working towards a better workforce' by apparently ignoring the problem. We are dropping our lines as soon as they expire so we do not have to deal with this crap of lies any longer than necessary. read more

Came one day, it was busy. The wait was 30 mins. Eventually a rep was available to help. He was very very helpful, but I wasnt set on which carrier I wanted. Came back the next day, too bad he wasnt present. There WASN'T even a handful of people... Wait time? 20 mins. And of course, here comes this Hispanic chick to "help." She was not knowledgeable at all! I didnt catch her name otherwise I would love to make note of it here. Dark hair, short, stumpy. HOT pink cheeks, rude. How about you learn about your job and less on that clown make-up you had on. And of course she just walks off when SHE was done. How rude. It seems she was more interested in the little fat kids playing with the tablets. I say visit a different Verizon shop in town. OR, different carrier. AT&T is a lot friendlier and that is who we ended up with. read more

Everytime we have ever been in the Verizon store, everyone has always been very nice and helpful. We have never waited for more than 10 minutes for service. We had Sprint before and Spring could definitely learn a few lessons from the staff at the Verizon store! read more
