A few weeks after using the computer, I shut the computer down, and then it would not fully turn back on. I would hit the power button, but the screen would keep going to a recovery screen, that wanted me to erase and recover the whole mac. I called apple and they suggested I go to Leading electronics. I walked in, and the gentleman who greeted me was very kind and helped me figure out what was happening. He then asked his coworker Adam to come out and look at the computer and he was able to determine the problem within seconds. He knew right away what he was going to need to do, how much it would cost, and how much time it would take...and he was right! He promptly fixed the problem, the cost was exactly what he said it was going to be, and he even called me back after nagging the shop with a phone call about how long it was going to take (which in my opinion is amazing, because how annoying is it when someone is nagging you to do your job faster, when what your already doing is fast! I felt bad for doing that later, but in my defense it's because I'm used to things like this not working out, taking way longer than expected, and being taken advantage of financially.) In all, this was a great experience, I'm so happy my computer is working properly. I'm posting this days after I had this experience because that's how much of a great impression they made on me.

Unfortunately, my nearest Apple store was unhelpful in this and only wanted to sell me what I didn't need presently. I made an appointment at another Apple store location two hours from me. It's good I double checked at the last minute because this store location also neglected to schedule me on their appointment list even with verbal confirmation. The Geek Squad here, however, was able to take me at short notice today and was courteous, professional and prompt. There was also no upselling either.
