i recent got a new phone, i specifically told the guy Taon "we're going to transfer my stuff first right?" before we even opened the new phone. he said yeah let's go ahead and do that. proceeds to tell me to put in my apple id and password before messing with the other phone. LITERALLY wiped my phone without making sure it was backed up and gave me a new phone with NONE of my things i really need... literally the only helping hand that tried to fix it was Skyler and Brian. pictures and messages i'll never get back from loved ones that are no longer living are just GONE and it's disappointing because you didn't even try to back my phone up when i asked you to transfer my stuff. i literally cried for hours. literally 0/10, terrible. do not go here!!!!!! Every employee in the store is a smart-ass, except the manager. They walk around on their phones or, just blatantly ignore you when you walk in. They can't help you or won't help you with issues you are having. It will save you a headache and your blood pressure if you just call Verizon customer service instead of going to this store. read more

I left a negative review about two years ago. I have had trouble with my iphone going black and failing to come back on for a few minutes. I took it to the Verizon store on St. Augustine Road in Valdosta GA for help. Thinking it might be a setting, two different "techs" tried to figure out the issue. Verizon's solution to every problem they can't simply correct is to reset your phone to factory settings without informing the customer. It took me hours to get my phone back to where I wanted it. Where do they get these "experts"? And, yes, the same old retired Air Force called "Chief" is still there and just as much an arrogant a**hole as ever! read more

did EXPRESS pickup for an iPhone 15 in blue, you would think you'd get it that day? NOPE went there to get the phone and they said it takes a couple days for it to get shipped to the store. EVEN though they had the EXACT same make, model and color in the store. said I would have to refund my order online and pay in store or wait for it to be shipped to their store. It takes a few days for money to refund on your card. no where online did it say I would have to wait 2+ days for the phone to be shipped even tho they have it in the store. still waiting for the phone btw. read more

Verizon was the worst experience I have ever had with a business. The workers know absolutely nothing and will guess at your bill always. My bill was never as promised and I was constantly calling to try and fix it and it was a nightmare. Sufficed to say I left Verizon just after 3 months because I couldn't take it anymore. I went to T-Mobile and the bill that they told me in store was the bill spot on! I will never ever ever touch Verizon for the rest of my life. Leslie went over and beyond to assist her. She was helpful, patient, and friendly. She also didn't make us feel as though we were obligated to make a purchase that day. She explained every single plan detail and cost. We were given advice and options too. I'd highly recommend her for assistance!! There was also a guy there named Aaron. I went back the following day and purchased an Apple Watch. Aaron explained the differences in the current watches, the options for each, and ran to the back a few times to confirm what was in stock. Came here three times, the first and second time were fine. I had really helpful salespersons and she/they were both very informative and understanding of my needs and wants. AS FOR MY THIRD VISIT, was horrible. I got this salesperson, name was Kevin. From the jump dude was already making sarcastic "jokes" and coming off rude and unprofessional about the questions i would ask. For example I would ask "do you have an iphone 13 in pink" his response was "I Don't Know." .... Not "i dont know" as in "im not sure let me check" just simply idk. And at first I didn't pay much attention to it because it is true that he actually MAY NOT know the quantity of specific items in the stock room at that current time. It was just very unprofessional to respond in that manner and it happened multiple times after because I also asked for an iphone 13 in black and an iphone 13 pro. Eventually I ended up getting an iphone 12 because he had told me i could get $600 off and that the promotion will kick in on the 2nd bill cycle. So i said cool, give me the iphone 12. While in this transaction he continued to make unprofessional remarks, more sarcastic jokes and even got on a whole unrelated phone call while servicing me. On top of that (i added another line) he increased my phone bill that I currently had from a basic $60 plan to a $70 plan without telling me and i noticed when i was at the store that i had completely lost service and when i asked him about it he said nothing and continued to hand me my bag/products. Not to mention his attempt to try and get me to sign up for a verizon credit card. So all and all if you happen to run across KEVIN at Verizon i would highly recommend asking for a different salesperson or be very aware of his schemes! - Rude service - upped my plan without my approval - didn't review any accessories or insurance i may or may not have wanted - left confused about the entire transaction - probably lied about the $600 promotion - unprofessional read more

sales personnel are completely unprofessional, and knowingly lye to your face just to generate another sale. they apparently don't have a clue how to transfer data from your current phone but don't mind charging you for the service. They insisted I had to buy all new products (chargers etc) for my new S-22 Galaxy because it runs off 45 watts and if I try to use all my current accessories, it will burn up my battery, void my warranty etc. I didn't know they were all hard down liars trying to up their commissions. When I got home (45 miles away) and called verison I found all it was all untrue and my S-22 doesn't even operate on 45 watts! I was furious.I had to get someone else to transfer my data after I paid them to do it. They even tried to get a credit card from me saying that I had to pay Google!!!! They said google invented all this technology and I had to pay them. I am dumfounded that Verizon would let this store continue to operate without heads rolling read more

We have been in and out of this store 4 times with issues with our phones. The first day it took 2 hours before we left the store. Second day another 2 hours. Third day we had to turn around and go back because of more problems. We are new customers and it has been the absolute worst service ever. Phone won't turn on, phone scratched right out of the box and issues with getting our phones rang up, issues getting the phone numbers to transfer. Wow! Talk about rude employees and no help! My family and I went into Verizon to get some new phones and it took almost 30 minutes just to talk to somebody when there was only 3 other customers in the store. The lady that we were talking to apparently didn't know anything, it amazed and confused us on how she had a job there, she continually was flirting with my husband and my engaged brother right in front of me and my brothers fiancée, and was extremely rude and constantly giving my and her extremely dirty looks. Let's just say we no longer do business there, we drive all the way to the Lake city florida Verizon store, where people know their job and are respectful and helpful! read more

The Verizon store on St. Augustine in Valdosta is probably the most poorly-managed place of business I've ever encountered. While Verizon itself offers fantastic service to the area and the customer service over the phone is amazing, the in-store experience is not a pleasant one. While this may not be the case for all in-store employees at that establishment, nearly every person I've spoken with had absolutely no qualms with feeding me information that was outright dishonest. When the situation was brought to the attention of the manager, we were told that it was our "responsibility" to research products before making a purchase. Now, I do agree that as a consumer, I need to make informed decisions on how my money is spent; however, I feel that the most efficient way to be informed on the features of specific products is to discuss them with those that should be most knowledgeable on the products themselves. As Verizon employees are paid/trained as experts/professionals in the field of cellphones, I'd expect that information obtained by these employees to be accurate. Imagine my surprise when the manager 'corrected' this train of thought by formally suggesting that an hour worth of speaking with the sales representative does not count as established "research". The manager also very casually informed me that the sales representative wasn't "technically lying" (he even held up 'air quotes' with this hands while saying this) because their sales representatives are not trained to know specifically the functions and features of each operating system available in their store, and informed me that it is my duty as a Verizon customer to understand this. Fair enough, I suppose, but when specific questions are asked and specific answers are given, there's no room for assumption in my mind that the sales representative was not knowledgeable in giving me information. The appropriate response to the question should have been "I don't have that information, but I can find it for you" or, at the very least, "You know, I'm not sure!". In short, while Verizon itself is a great company, be aware that this particular location is operated by employees that are erratic in providing information, and there is no corresponding accountability in providing "checks and balances" for this behavior. They will gladly encourage you to make a purchase based on false information, and the administration will defend these actions without a second thought. Be sure to perform your research independently and thoroughly, as depending on a paid professional within this establishment has somehow become ironically insufficient. read more
