My husband wanted Windows 11. He used the Best Buy Valdosta website to purchase a "copy". Apparently, the way its done now is you are sent an email with the code. Fair enough. If the code worked. We tried to sort this out. We called, and each time (except for once) we are given an outsourced entity whom I can barely understand. The one time we did reach a human, they told us to drive the 2 hours to Valdosta and "bring it in". We live in Blackshear. Nope. Then we were told to talk to Microsoft. Why? We purchased the item from Best Buy. Not Microsoft. After exhausting every avenue, we filed for resolution with Paypal to get out money back ($140.00). The bottom line is that this is beyond horrible customer service. After over 20 years of doing business with Best Buy, we will never buy anything from them again. I strongly urge Best Buy to take a long hard look at their customer service department and how about we keep it in the USA. Why is it outsourced. Went to get a tv saw a ticket price advertised label, the TV was not displayed. Employee had to go to the storage room to retrieve it and we went to register and paid for it. We returned home and open the box took out the TV but no TV cord was in the box and there was trash with a brown leaf from a tree was there It was used. Took it back Manager asked "did anyone tell u that this was a open box". NO NO NO they did not. Who whats a used TV, I don't. So I asked to replace it with the same one(LG TV). We took it back to the store ( not easy, it's a 65 inch) and they told us we must have done this by picking it up we would have had to have been trying to dent it to do that damage. My day has not been great. I'm moving to Atlanta and I was trying to get a few things taken care of before I left. Not everything is going as I planned. To top it off an old lady hit my car and tried to drive off. So I'm super stressed out. All this to say that I had bought a iPhone XR protective cover from a Best Buy in Atlanta. When I got home I was putting all the accessories on my new phone only to be told that the screen protector was the wrong size. Zegg put an iPhone X protective screen in the XR box. I took it to this location hoping to just exchange it. But I didn't have my receipt and it didn't even match the ones they had. So I was at a loss. I was tired and hot. This place is the worst. We go there after checking their website to see what laptops are ready for pickup the same day. There were 3 that met what we wanted. So stupid me, thinking this will be different than the last time, visited the store, waited 20 mins until my wife had to grab someone to see if we can just get the damm laptop we wanted. They check the availability and if course, they don't have any of the ones that show on their website. We even got a bonus when the employee complained that we interrupted him to check on buying a computer! How classless is that place! We just took our money elsewhere as usual. I'm not sure if this exact location is to blame but I ordered a washer and dryer on thanksgiving. A very expensive washer and dryer that I scheduled to be deliveries December 9th two days after my husband and I returned from vacation. We had sold our previous washer and dryer since we figured we would not have time in the two days we had before the new ones were supposed to arrive. I got both a confirmation email and text saying my appointment was confirmed for 12/9 delivery window 7am-7pm. Everything seemed to be perfect but today I woke up at 7am in case they were to arrive early, checked the app, and saw that there was "no appointment scheduled" despite receiving a confirmation email and text. I called Best Buy and even on the phone the automated system said "I see you have an appointment scheduled with us, is that what you're calling about?" When I finally got a human she informed me that there was no appointment on record and I could schedule one for Monday, a day I work and won't be able to be home for the delivery, or two Saturday's from now. I understand that sometimes technical things happen but I received 2 confirmations and a text reminding me of my appointment and to ensure I am home during the window. I've never had issues like this with best buy but this will definitely discourage me from buying from them again, at least getting delivery from them. read more

Craig and Mills were awesome, so polite and informative. Craig is the only reason I return to the store. Xavier was my first encounter on me buying a computer, he had no personality, hardly even talk to me, but over talked me, talking to other people. AGENT MONROE was the worst! I encountered her several times. When you walk to the counter, she just stands there, and waits for you to talk first. I'm not computer savvy! She is just the worst, doesn't explain anything. I was set up to have computer tutor for 15 minutes, to explain the computer I purchased. AGENT MONROE just asked, "What do you want to know"? Duh, everything that's why I'm here. I needed a new laptop for college and found a perfect one that had everything I was looking for, but it was right at my budget limit. An associate (named Nathan) came to help us and ended up getting me signed up to receive coupons and I got $125 off the laptop! Helped me out so much! We have had several bad experiences here but our recent visit was icing on the cake. My husband and I were interested in buying a new MacBook AND an apple watch . We were in the laptop aisle comparing models and we were LITERALLY pushed out of the way by an associate so she could talk to other customers. I had to move away from the product I was viewing in order to not get trampled. When we were looking at the apple watch, we had a million questions but nobody offered to help us. We believe that if someone would have engaged with us , we would have left with a new computer and watch. I'm disappointed because we have spent thousands at this best buy. But that shouldn't matter! Every customer needs to be treated like a potential buyer. So, if you need help in this location, make sure to bring a blow horn, a red flag, and dance around naked in order to get some attention. read more

Omg I had the worse experience here today that I've ever had at any retailer. HORRIBLE experience. I am a fan of Best Buy and used to like this location but NOT anymore. Over the last month I have been very displeased with them and today put the icing on the cake. My phone was being repaired and it took a MONTH to come back. Every time I called this location I was told it would take 1 week, 2 weeks, 3 weeks, 4 weeks or more, etc. No one was ever on the same accord, which highly irritated me. Well, mine took just about a month. And when it came back, guess what?! It wasn't repaired! My phone was gone for a month and I had to deal with a crappy loaner phone, and my phone was not even repaired. All of my settings, apps, etc. were all erased for nothing because they didn't even fix a thing. And you want to know what the manager had to say? Oh we can't give you a replacement, we just have to send it off for a month again and see if they fix it this time. She also stated that the repair center has to give them permission to issue me a replacement and if they don't, after the 4th time of sending it then they (Best Buy) can go ahead and replace it. So there's a strong possibility I would have to wait 4 months altogether??? You've got to be kidding me! Now, I forgot to mention that I was asked what I would like to be done and I asked for a replacement because that's what I was told would occur if your phone can't be repaired. Well obviously it can't be repaired because they kept it for a month and sent it back in the same condition. And to top it off, Best Buy can't even contact the repair center directly. They have to send some stupid escalation and wait for them to respond which they claim takes 2-4 days, yeah right probably takes longer. What kind of shi* is that? This place must be off in India somewhere! UGHHH! Don't EVER buy Best Buy's Black Tie Protection for your phone, use the carrier's insurance or if you have the iPhone (AT&T doesn't provide insurance for it), just use Apple's insurance. I usually buy my big items here, but after my last experience that won't get a dime from me anymore. I placed an on-line order for a 55" TV and it said it would be ready for pickup in an hour. It even said if was in-stock it could be ready as early as 45 minutes. So we show up at 55 minutes for curbside pickup. We tell Nathan what we were there for. This guy should be known as Mr. Rude. He asked if we received an email and I said no, the site said 1 hour pickup. He rudely responded you have to wait on the email. Long story short we ended up waiting 1 hr and 40 minutes and never got an email. Went back to the curb and the 1st employee we spoke to said that I had selected delivery to my house. I showed her the email that said we selected curbside pickup. She went back in and out came the manager, The excuse this time was our transaction was tied up in fraud protection. Really? How long would I have sat in the parking lot before we would have been told this? The manager made no attempt to fix this issue or help us in anyway. We ended up cancelling the order and bought the same TV from Walmart. Don't waste your time with this store. They care NOTHING about the customer. read more

Here's an update on the computer that the ravioli brains at Worst Buy weren't able to fix. The hard drive was bad. We brought this to them with plenty of time left on our warranty to replace it. They kept it until our warranty was out before telling us there was nothing they could do. Luckily, a friend of ours new a guy who fixed it in about 2 weeks. My wife and I went to Best Buy (now known to us a worst buy) the night of black Friday. We picked out a TV that we had seen online. The online price was cheaper so we asked one of the blue shirt sock puppets that work (if you can get any work out of them) there if they honor online pricing in the store. We were told that we could buy it online and just take it out of the store. We were also told that the online orders take priority and that we could be out of the store with it in about 45 minutes. So we buy it online from our phone right there. 45 minutes later we asked about getting the TV and was told that it would take 2 hours, which meant that we would have to come back the next day as the store was about to close in under 2 hours. The next day I went to Worst Buy to pick up the TV, only to be told that they were out of that model and that it would take 2 more weeks to get it in. I told the blue shirt sock puppet that I did not believe that they had sold that many of those TV's in that short amount of time. "Oh sir, I wouldn't lie to you", said sir sock puppet. "If we had one of those TVs in stock, you could take it home today." I told him what we were told by the other sock puppet that helped us the night before. "Well, we have a lot of turn over and new employees don't always get it right when they tell a customer something." Well, it's not my problem that you can't keep employees, but when they have on a blue sock puppet shirt, they should at least know how the store operates, and not only is their ignorance no excuse, it also shows the lack of consumer care and poor training of said sock puppets. Seeing that senior sock puppet has no interest in actually walking from behind his little computer at the customer (lack of) service counter, I go out into the store where I find the exact TV that sock puppet told me that were out of. I go back to the customer lack of service desk and inform him of his mistake. Now he has to have a 10 minute pow wow with the higher sock puppets over this great emergency that has taken place. "Something is wrong! Who do we blame! Who do we blame!" "It's the people in the back! It's the people in the back!!" Finally a little millennial sock puppetess comes over and says," we are going to have to get you to pay for this TV before you can leave the store, sir." I already paid for it online. I told it. "Well, we will have to cancel that order and it will take 3 days to refund your money, but we will have to charge you again for this TV so that you can take it home." So why can't I leave the store with the TV that I ALREADY PAYED FOR, like the customer lack of service sock puppet told me I could before I went out and found the TV that he said you DID NOT HAVE? "Well, our computer is running slow because of the Holidays, sir." WTF??? I told her then that I did not want to pay for a TV that I had already paid for. She then told me that I had not paid for it, because they do not bill my credit card until the item is picked up. I said, "Well why did you tell me it would take three days to get my money back on my credit card if I have not been billed yet?" She then said that it would take 3 days for my refund to show up on the credit card but they don't bill the charges until the item is picked up. I told her that sounded like bull$**+ to me. "You don't have to cuss, sir.", said sock puppetess. Do you know what else I don't have to do? I don't have to do business with Worst Buy. I asked to speak to a manager. Sock puppetess then informed me that she was a manager. Well can you manage to stop giving me the run around and just let me take the TV that I already paid for, that your employee that can't be trusted because they are new, and that the customer lack of service guy said I could take home if they had it in stock, that I had to go find because your computers were wrong, and before I was told that I have to pay for again because there computer is running slow (remember this the next time you need a computer fixed).
