This is such an amazing and beautiful upgrade!! My review is based on a concert experience, but I hope to come back for a game someday! I visited from out of state for the Noah Kahan concert and everything was very well organized. I arrived during the opening acts and there was no line at all to get in. There were plenty of staff in place to keep crowds under control and ensure that people got to the correct section. My seat was on the field and I loved that there were bathrooms and concessions available in this area so that I didn't have to leave the field while I was there. My only complaint is that it was extremely difficult to get phone reception, and others around me had the same issue. I really liked the area surrounding this park as well. Lots of hotels, restaurants, etc in walking distance, and so many parking lots and garages that were very reasonably priced.

A NORTHERN PASTIME…read more The Minnesota Twins' home ballpark is a great venue to watch a game. I took my family on vacation to Minneapolis in early June, and in doing so I was able to check off Target Field from my list of MLB stadiums (7th in the AL, 12th overall).  Tickets on a weekday afternoon to see the Twins play the Chicago White Sox were pretty cheap, far less than what I expected. Security was friendly and we got our stroller + stuff in easily.  We sat in section 133, an area in right-center field that always has shade thanks to a large upper deck directly above it.  In front of us were some planted flowers, props to the Twins landscaping crew for keeping things green and colorful. In several spots at Target Field, you can find grab-and-go kiosks stocked with a number of classic ballpark snacks at reduced prices: $4 hot dogs, $3 peanuts, $3 popcorn, $4 pretzel w/cheese, and $5 cans of light beer. These no-frills offerings were PERFECT for me and the fam, plus it saved us a bunch of money. When we stopped at guest services to get a "my 1st Twins game" certificate for the kids, the guy behind the window tossed a couple of dog-eared papers our way and said nothing.  No midwestern warmth for visiting fans as my Sox proceeded to paddle the Twinkies 8-0. Once the game ended, we hit a massive traffic logjam trying to leave the top deck of the parking garage.  Since there was only 1 way out--the bottom floor--we had no choice but to wait for all the lower levels to clear in turn.  A full hour and a half later, I was able to drive everyone (now fast asleep) back to the hotel.  Ooof. When a Twins player hits a home run, a large neon sign in center field features "Minnie and Paul" shaking hands, a nod to Minnesota's former minor league teams the Minneapolis Millers and the St Paul Saints.  This sign also flashes 'Twins Win' anytime the home team secures a victory. * TL;DR * Target Field is one of the nicest stadiums I've experienced in the big leagues--Truist Park (Atlanta) and Nationals Park (D.C.) also fit this mold. Being able to get ballpark snacks for cheap was absolutely clutch, as my kids weren't interested in a $12 Kramarczuk's sausage and I was thankful to not shell out $14/beer.  We dug the open-air vibes of the right field concourse and overall facilities were nice. I still gotta dock a star because leaving the game was absolutely brutal.  No stadium is perfect and exiting traffic can often be a hassle, but 90 minutes of not moving isn't fun for anyone.  A different parking scenario for us and it's a 5* experience for sure. If you find yourself in the Twin Cities between April and October, check the Twins schedule and try to catch a game here.

There are quite a few baseball fields for the baseball players to choose from. The playground is a little worn, but serves its purpose. A smaller area for the smaller kids and the one for the bigger kids with bigger slides and geared more for the older kids. There is a tire swing, and some cute little spring toys kids can rock back and forth on. There are restrooms available. Picnic tables Places to sit. There is a plaque explaining how the fields were named which was an interesting read. I never knew, but pretty cool.

As the Twins' minor-league affiliate, the Saints bring a fun, energetic atmosphere to every game, and the ballpark itself makes the experience even better. CHS Field is easy to get to, with convenient parking and incredible seats that make it easy to follow every pitch. The amenities for patrons are excellent, and there is a great mix of comfort, character, and excitement throughout the stadium. The history of the Saints and their place in St. Paul baseball is celebrated in a way that gives the ballpark a special sense of community and tradition. I came with some friends after an amazing dinner at nearby El Burrito Mercado, and the evening continued with a fantastic night of baseball. The food at CHS Field is also amazing, with plenty of great options, and the merchandise selection was just as impressive. It was hard not to find something fun to take home and remember the night. Several home runs and a lot of cheering ushered in another Saints win, making an already great evening even better. Between the history, the food, the merchandise, the comfortable amenities, and the excitement on the field, CHS Field is a wonderful place to catch a game. The Saints continue to deliver an incredible show in St. Paul, and I'm already looking forward to the next one.

Lots of fun things once you stroll around the beautiful baseball stadium. Lots of fun things and interactive items for kids to partake in. We parked over by Union Depot since we were at an event earlier in the day there.

Great big hills that make for perfect sledding in the Winter months, and fun hills to bike down in the Summer / Spring / Fall. Lots of geese, be on the lookout for goose poop or you may end up with some dirty shoes! There are 4 benches at this park, most of which have a great view of the pond. The warming house is typically only open / staffed during the winter months in the PM per ice skating staff and in the summer afternoons by some youth group / day care personnel. It may also be open when sporting events are scheduled to take place here (i.e. football, baseball / softball, and soccer games). It's a very tranquil place to get some fresh air and enjoy the peace and quite. In the winter months they build two ice hockey rinks and ice-over the whole field for just regular ice skating that connects both the hockey rinks (as depicted in one of the first Yelp photos for the park). Lovely parking lot to get some peace and quite on a lunch break, it's pretty common practice to see people park facing the pond and enjoy their lunches. Very watchful neighborhood, the local community isn't afraid to call 9-1-1 if they see funny business going on here - which is great because it keeps it a safe and clean park for those who wish to enjoy it as intended. I've always felt safe in this park, even by myself.

We also experienced the baseball diamond due to a 6 yr old t-ball game. Lovely field - just remember to bring a blanket or chairs to sit on while your kiddo plays. They also have a volleyball sand court and basketball court. They have a handful of picnic benches for a lovely afternoon outing. Plenty of parking on the street or on their parking lot.

Prarie Park is a nice place to spend time with your family. It has everything here. There's portapotties all around the area, but no actual bathrooms with plumbing or anywhere to change. The splash pad is just water spraying from the ground, there are no fun water tables or anything. The playground is pretty nice and there is a smaller one for smaller kids as well. There is also a fairly big parking lot so finding space should be easy. The park is very nicely maintained, the grass is cut and there's pretty flowers planted everywhere. There's no graffiti on the playground and there's no garbage thrown around.

There are water things that shoot out of the ground in the splash pad. There is one bucket that dumps on you in the splash pad. There is a soccer field and a gagaball pit! There are also pickleball courts that come WITH SUPPLIES! (Balls and rackets.) There is a full-court for basketball! (Even though it doesn't come with a ball it is still fun to bring a ball!) There is a lot of open space to like throw a football or play a game! There are picnic tables and portapotties! The playground isn't the most fun playground, but because of everything else this is 4 stars!!
